"Apparently thats what the spy in the capital told us," General Zhu continued with her report. Her long hair was cut short because it was a hindrance to her when she was on the battlefield.

She looked down at the documents that were sent to her through a secret channel.

"This old man can control the spirits of the deceased, who are lingering on the surface of the earth… Princess Xieren asked him to come and help him after——"

"What did he do?" Yu Tong marched down the living hall and looked at Jiang Fenhua and Ji Xuehua. The two mers were sitting on the couch and looked up when they saw Yu Tong coming.

"I heard that something happened to Yu Cheng," Yu Tong answered Yu Dong. "Its the talk of the town." He then turned to look at Ji Xuehua before saying, "It is your cousin who got entangled with my brother, I am sorry."

"Its alright," Ji Xuehua gently answered as he raised his head and waved his hand. "Though the matter seems a bit serious, my cousin is the only son of the official husband of the first branch of the Ji family, even if the matter escalates in an unfortunate twist, I don't think he would be married to your brother."

"Here, you can take a look at the expense. If you want we can discuss the matter of the expense," Yu Dong spoke to Jiang Fenhua who nodded and turned his attention to the documents with Ji Xuehua and Zhou Lan.

Once they were busy, Yu Dong brought Yu Tong to her room.

"Sister, whats going on?" Yu Tong asked as she looked at Yu Dong.
