Chapter 129
In the dimensional rift, between realms, where no light dared to venture, the goddess Justini floated, bound by invisible forces. Her limbs were restrained, and a blindfold covered her eyes, yet even within that dark void, her divine power radiated brilliantly.
“Justini.”
A voice called her name, and she lifted her head. Before her stood the golden chariot of the World Postal Service.
“It seems the final chapter is about to begin. Are you really going to sit here like this?” the voice taunted.
“If you pity me, you could release me,” Justini replied.
“Ah, that’s not how it works. Rules are rules. If you don’t follow them, what’s the point? You really should have been more careful. What a waste, right at this critical moment,” the postal courier said mockingly, clearly enjoying her predicament.
He was the one who had imprisoned her for breaking the rules, and now he had the audacity to mock her openly.
“This is unfair. My sister Angria has interfered both directly and indirectly, walking the fine line of the rules, and yet you only imprison me,” Justini protested.
“There’s a limit to everything, Justini. You didn’t just bend the rules—you broke them entirely. Millions of endless regressions, and you even used divine power to scorch the enemy sorcerer. Do you really think you’re innocent? That’s a major violation, and it took away much of the fun. We live for that delicate balance of tension.”
“And what does ‘fun’ matter when the fate of an entire world is at stake?”
The courier’s playful tone vanished, replaced by a chilling seriousness.
“In this endless existence, without fun, what’s the point?”
Then, just as suddenly, he softened his expression and spoke soothingly.
“Justini, we all cherished you, gave you power, and left that wretch Angria to her own devices. Yet your sister is giving us unexpected enjoyment by struggling against the odds, and you act so high and mighty?”@@novelbin@@
“A world is being sacrificed just for your amusement!” she retorted.
What do you think?
