Chapter 819: I Really Want a Daughter
Chapter 819: Chapter 819: I Really Want a Daughter
Abigail Anderson flipped through her phone gallery and then showed it to Olivia Jenkins.
“Olivia, it’s this brand of maternity milk powder, it tastes okay, and it doesn’t make you feel like throwing up. My eldest sister recommended it, and she bought it for me too. She drank this maternity milk powder when she was pregnant, it’s a well-known brand.”
“…”
“Olivia, if you ever need it, just drink this brand of maternity milk powder.” As she spoke, Abigail also sent the picture to Olivia.
After receiving the picture, Olivia saved it and noted down the brand, “Jordan Bennett’s sister takes good care of you, you must get along well with his family.”
The look of happiness on Abigail’s face suggested she was glowing with joy, “They all treat me very well, my in-laws always tell my husband to take more time off to spend with me.”
“That’s good to hear, you really seem very happy. But you do have to be careful, take it easy for the baby in your belly.”
“Thank you for the concern, Olivia. I know, I will be careful.”
Olivia Jenkins linked arms with Abigail Anderson and headed into the baby specialty store first, with Valerie Howard following close behind to guard them.
Seeing all the cute baby products, Olivia’s lips curved into a faint smile, her pretty brows slightly raised, she generously said, “Abigail, choose whatever you like, it’s on me.”
The smile on Abigail’s face grew wider, and she looked at Olivia in slight astonishment, “I can buy these myself, my husband gave me a card to use as I like.”
Olivia stated authoritatively, “Don’t be polite with me; this is my little token of affection. What your husband gives isn’t mine, you know. The feeling of wearing something on the baby that comes from me is different!”
Valerie Howard agreed, “Abigail, just pick something. Even though I don’t know what it feels like to be a mother, these cute little things naturally bring out an auntie’s smile in me.”
Abigail’s eyes crinkled with mirth, “Then I won’t stand on ceremony. Honestly, seeing all these adorable little things excites me like nothing else; I want to buy everything I like and take it home.”
Olivia picked up a pair of little girl’s shoes, looking at them over and over, unwilling to let them go, “I really want a daughter, to dress her up like a cute princess every day, to accessorize her with different clips each day.
If she had longer hair, I’d tie it into two cute pigtails, and she’d be adorable. Just looking at the little princess, all the day’s worries, even the not-so-good things, might just vanish, cured by her presence.” @@novelbin@@
Abigail nodded her head vigorously like pounding garlic, her eyes playfully twinkling, “Exactly, exactly! I also really want a daughter, I’m so looking forward to having one.
I can dress her up every day, wear mommy-daughter dresses, buy her bags, jewelry, and there are so many styles of clothes to choose from, isn’t it lovely to think about!”
“Have you noticed? Girls’ clothes are especially pretty, with so many styles to choose from, you can always pick out a bunch to dress them up in. Boys’ stuff is really too monotonous and not as good-looking.”
“Olivia, I completely agree with your opinion. Just the hair clips for little girls alone could fill a cabinet, they’re so cute!
Although my eldest sister only has one daughter, I see that my brother-in-law dotes on her too. When a daughter grows up, she can go shopping, travel with them. With just a glance, Chloe Lee makes my brother-in-law shut up.”
Olivia still remembered Chloe Lee, such a charming little girl, it would be wonderful to have a daughter like her.
What do you think?
