Chapter 876
Chapter 876: Chapter 876: Heart Slayer Chapter 876: Chapter 876: Heart Slayer One month?
Grace still doesn’t want to leave Serene City, does she?
She wants to stall for time, just to placate me?
Is it the luxury and wealth she can’t let go of?
She still wants to break up someone else’s marriage?
Is Grace scheming?
Ella Charles ate quietly, not glancing at Grace once.
A chill rose in Ella’s heart, subtly pricking at her.
Pausing for a moment, Grace Ziegler continued, deliberately hiding cunning calculations in her eyes, “Mom, why don’t you stay for a few days?
I’ll take you around Serene City, and then you can go back to Binzhou and wait for me.
I promise you, after a month’s time, I will definitely return to Binzhou.
Or, you can stay with me in Serene City, and we’ll go back together then.”
Ella Charles furrowed her brows, her gaze becoming cold and distant, “I’ll think about it first.”
Suddenly, Grace Zeigler’s eyes gleamed with joy, a faint smile lightly tracing her lips, “Mom, I’ll be good, I won’t make you angry anymore, I’ll listen to you.”
Ella’s face didn’t change a bit, she just nodded slightly, noncommittally.Even though she felt pleased on the inside, Grace still acted nonchalant, picking up a piece of chicken and placing it in her mother’s bowl.
A hint of coldness flashed through Ella’s eyes as she ate the chicken, without saying much.
Ella also knew clearly that even if she argued until she was blue in the face, Grace would still have her own way.
By now, Grace must be harboring ulterior motives towards her, only wanting to coax her back to the Binzhou mine.
Even though she was very angry, Ella was still holding back, not revealing her true emotions.
…
Olivia Jenkins went to work early in the morning and was surprised to see Daniel Marshall sitting in her office.
Moreover, her office was filled with all sorts of baby products, including baby formula.
The secretary stood at the door, looking pitifully at Olivia, with a hesitating demeanor.
Olivia didn’t give the secretary a hard time and gestured for her to leave.
Olivia closed the door to her office, slowly approached Daniel, her indifferent gaze tinged with contempt, disdain, and revulsion, “Daniel, please go to the hospital and have your brain checked!”
Daniel stood up, affectionately embracing Olivia, his deep voice gently saying, “Wife, don’t be like this, okay?
I think of you every second of every day.
Give me a chance, let’s start over.”
Olivia’s expression showed scorn, her entire being exuding a chilling aura, “Daniel, we’re all adults here, so please have some dignity, please be graceful!”
Even though Olivia despised him and kept him at arm’s length, Daniel’s heart still surged with intense longing for her, instinctively holding Olivia tight, wanting to merge her into his life.
“Wife, let’s not give each other the silent treatment anymore, okay?
Let’s not fight or argue anymore, alright?”
Olivia scoffed coldly, her eyes full of irony.
With a whoosh, she forcefully pushed Daniel away.
“If you want to delude yourself, that’s none of my business, but I must make things clear to you.
You don’t think that the child I was holding is yours, do you?
Daniel, don’t be so wishful.
I’ve said it before, I won’t have your child.
How much I despise you, I think you know well enough.
ƝονǤօ.сᴑ
Don’t harbor any hopes, that’s not your child!”
Olivia was provoking him again, goading him.
Even as storms roiled within Daniel, he tried hard to rein in his emotions.
Daniel’s hurt eyes stared unwaveringly at Olivia, “I admit I’ve lost to you.
What do you think?
