She clenched her fists, her raven-black hair whipping around her as the winds of her power surged. "But no more. I do not wish to live for the sake of those who wished for my destruction and peril. Not my father. Not the Elders. Not the clan. No one." she declared firmly.

Her gaze bore into Stronoff like daggers, and for the first time, he saw not the niece he once knew, but a storm... a force of nature, unrelenting and untamed.
