Harry and Ron played Quidditch all afternoon, completely losing themselves in the game.
The two even discussed Ron applying to join the Gryffindor Quidditch team once school started.
"Hoare, you don't need to go easy on us. I have plenty of confidence in myself," Ron said, gnawing on a chicken leg with his left hand while holding a fork speared with a pork knuckle in his right.
He flexed his arm towards Hoare, showing off his muscles.
Hoare smiled helplessly, slicing the beef in front of him.

Dinner at the Black's was lavish, and Hoare was thoroughly satisfied.
It was a pity, though, that Dumbledore said he had other matters to attend to and didn't stay for dinner. However, he did ask Hoare for two lollipops, saying they were for a friend.
