How I got fuc*ed up

Everything was black. 

At least, that was how things looked to Julius with his eyes closed. 

Truth to be told, he was experiencing a sort of sense alienation, where he was barely conscious. 

After some time, he seemed to regain the ability to think and to hear… Or maybe he was just hearing his own thoughts 

“Where am I?”

“What happened to me?”

“I don't feel anything”

Nobody answered his question 

“I have a feeling I should not be here”

“Well, you are not wrong” suddenly a voice replied to one of his thoughts 

“AH” screamed inside the guy 

“Not very masculine”

A sudden silence filled Julius’ mind, who was scared to death but also relieved that someone or something answered him 

“And it's not very nice to scare strangers”

“Ohh, a quick tong indeed… I see”

“You don't plan to introduce yourself, do you?”

“The younglings nowadays… Always in a hurry”

“It’s not that I’m in a hurry, it's that I don't even know if I am alive or not”

“Well, understandable… Not that I would understand, I am immortal, you see”

“AH… So you are God?” asked Julius, a little shocked

“No, no… Don't misunderstand me, I am a god, but I am not God… I would rather not talk of metaphysics with a mortal honestly. Your mind is already delicate and I don't want to destroy it with something it can't comprehend”

"Honestly I don't know what to do o say” 

“Don't worry, you are not the first and you will not be the last to walk through a wormhole… I assume your civilization has reached such an advanced level thorough at least a million years of evolution and technological advancement”

“Well, how can I say…”

“Mh? What's with that face?”

“How can you see my face? I can't see it nor anything else”

“Divine Being, remember?”

“Right right, still getting the hang of it”

“Don't worry… However, why did you make that face?”

“How can I say… That was a accident”

“What do you mean?”

Julius spent a little time explaining his situation while the other being was just listening in silence

“So, you are telling me you are a precursor?”

“What do you mean?”

“The first of you species to go into a wormhole… And it seems like it's even more complicated than that, considering that it should have not happened for at least a few thousand decades… Can you repeat your name?”

“Julius ****”

“Oh, God, no… Help, no”

When a so called Divine Being was asking God for help, usually things are going south 

“if you find that to be such a bad name, you can calm me J” says Julius trying to alleviate the tension

“It's useless… Why me? Of all the Divine Beings… However let's get down to business”

“Ehm, ok”

“You fell in a wormhole that teleported you somewhere in the universe. I can't tell you much more about that because it's against the rules but don't worry, you will find yourself in another planet called Terta with a human-like species”

“Sounds good to me, at least I am not dead”

“I wouldn't rejoice so quickly… The fact that you are the first of your kind to that something like this means you bring with yourself the Fate of all your world… Plus the Bonus Fate you get for being here before you were supposed to be”

“And that's not good… Right?”

“Well, it depends on you… More Fate means more opportunities, but even more dangers… So, you are alive now, but you need to do your best to survive”

“That's not very reassuring, you know?... Is there something else?”

“Well yes, in Terta exists Qi… But you will get that explained later”

“Qi? How am I even supposed to use it? Do I look like a Tibetan monk?” exclaimed Julius while panicking

“Don't worry, you will be given a system… Now, I'll send you to my Temple in Terta”

“What? What system? Temple?”

Before Julius could get any answer, everything got blank once again 

“I never thought I would be in the some room with someone lik e him… It's going to be a little chaotic from now on”
