Chapter 72
Sunwoo lay on the bed, blinking his tired eyes. It seemed like he hadn’t done much, yet time had passed quickly.
“No, that’s not right. I did do something.”
After lunch, he walked around the garden with Kang Jinwook for about an hour. During the walk, he realized that the garden had quite an old-fashioned feel.@@novelbin@@
It gave the impression of a place where a wealthy elderly couple might have lived.
The small pond, the arched bridge, the pines, the stone lanterns—everything gave off a sense of time passing, and Sunwoo wondered if this was Kang Jinwook’s taste.
“No. It’s because it’s an inherited house.”
When Sunwoo asked about the house in that context, Kang Jinwook answered like that.
“Inherited house?”
From whom? Sunwoo’s question was met with a mysterious smile from Kang Jinwook. What was that cryptic smile? Would it hurt to share a little more?
Kang Jinwook pursed his lips, glanced at Sunwoo looking around, and then turned his gaze away. It seemed like Sunwoo really had lost his memory. After all, it made sense that his reaction to the house when he first came was so calm.
But Kang Jinwook wasn’t willing to explain it further.
“Huh? Looks like a child used to live here?”
While walking along the path absentmindedly, Sunwoo stumbled upon an unexpected sight: an old but beautiful and colorful swing hanging from a tree.
- Yeah, what is it?
- Just lying down. Aren’t you busy?
- No, I get car sick.
- I don’t want anything... Ah!
What do you think?
