Chapter 112: Sky Piercing Palm
With a satisfied tummy, he got to concentrating on the route of meridians of the Lightning Infusion first.
Oh wait, I should take this to the training hall.
He took his laptop and phone with him to the training hall and put them in a corner.
Alright, I think I geddit.
After he was done memorising the small circuit of Lightning Infusion, he carefully manipulated his Qi through it.
As soon as he finished a revolution, his body felt lighter, and more powerful.
He had a faint feeling that his body could somewhat keep up with his thoughts, enabling a greater reaction time which could be easily facilitated by a lighter body.
Just like all his other cultivation arts, the state lasted for a few seconds before wearing off.
Apparently, when he was out on the two month long mission, someone had bought a few training dummies and placed them in the large training hall.
Probably Drakarion.
Eryndor made a mental note to ask him how much he was supposed to pay as a part of his contribution.
Since he would be using it, it was only logical to pay for it, since training dummies weren’t given out for free by the Academy.
The next two hours, Eryndor went through all the situations of using Lightning Infusion.
His Passive Regeneration was working all the time to regenerate his stamina and energy.
By the end of the two hours which he had spent running around and putting himself through various scenarios, Eryndor was quite tired mentally and spiritually.
He simply felt a bit exhausted despite the energy brimming in his body.
I guess I can perfectly execute Lightning Infusion now.
The speed at which Eryndor learned cultivation arts was almost scary. He learned and gained its mastery at a pace which would take others months, or even years.
Despite being in a protected environment, he didn’t let go of his behaviour to only train till fifty percent of Qi storage. It was a part of his habit now, one which he had picked up while training in the wild.
If he allowed himself to train till emptying his Qi storage, he would’ve been done with the practice earlier, as earlier, he had spent plenty of time to recover his Qi and resume the practice.
He also discovered something while training that he had completely missed earlier. It was such an obvious thing that he felt stupid.
When he activated Lightning Infusion using his lightning based Qi, the effect it brought about was much greater than a simple one plus one.
It was more than double the effects and parameters mentioned in the information document of the said cultivation art.
It was probably because the elements matched, which resulted in much better output.
Shoving that thought aside, he sat in front of his laptop and began recovering his Qi while gazing at the screen.
He was multitasking, learning the Sky Piercing Palm and recovering his Qi at the same time.
By the time he had recovered his Qi completely, only a few meridians were left, which he memorized in the next few minutes.
Alright, time to master this one too.
For the next couple hours, Eryndor once again got back to practicing his cultivation art.
He had to admit, he was loving the process of getting stronger.
Not to mention that all of this would bring forth an entirely new level of variation in his fighting ability.
His greatest reliance while fighting was still on the fact that he would be able to passively cultivate in the midst of it.
He could absorb Qi while simultaneously spending it, enabling him to fight much longer.
Not to mention his storage had increased twice, through Meridian Expansion Pill and through enhanced cultivation practice technique Breath of Lightning God.
While practicing his Sky Piercing Palm, he recalled one of its unique points.
It is one of the few cultivation arts which could be used in the Qi Condensation realm as well.
He knew about it only after reading through its information. He hadn’t made a bad choice indeed.
At the end of his practice session, he was a sweaty mess despite his Passive Regeneration working full time.
It didn’t magically absorb his sweat back into the body after all.
Enduring his current condition, he put the training dummies back into their place and set the training hall on self-cleaning mode before leaving with his devices.
The sky had darkened considerably. Going by the messages on his group chat, his roommates were also back in the villa.
Since he didn’t see anyone in the hall though, he assumed they were in their respective rooms.
Locking the door behind him, he put the devices on the table before entering his bathroom for a quick shower.
After changing into a fresh pair of clothes, he ate a light snack in the kitchen before eventually laying down on his comfortable bed.
"Finally, some good incoming sleep."
It was not to say that sleeping on the spaceship was bad. The bed was comfortable, and the aircraft itself was definitely stable.
He couldn’t explain it, but his ranking of bed went as; his own home > parent’s home > the one in this villa > spaceship.
Of course, he had plenty of sleepovers and trips, but he wouldn’t include them all, obviously.
Eryndor was so exhausted that he genuinely didn’t have the energy left to go through his daily session of cultivation.
While having random thoughts, his mind gradually drifted asleep.

"Is it just us two?"
He asked Paulina as she locked their villa.
"Yep." She turned around and answered before continuing.
"Drakarion and Valentina have booked their separate training halls. You must know how difficult it is to get one entirely to yourself.
"They couldn’t pass up on that for a chance to watch a match."
Eryndor shrugged. "Fair."
He remembered how inconvenient it was to practice with someone else in the room, though it was a massive fortune for him to meet Syndra that day.
Eryndor gazed at Paulina and asked.
"Can you tell me what interesting ability the person has though?"
Paulina replied only with a single word.
"Regression."
What do you think?
