Chapter 164 164: Waves Across Dynasties III
An unknown number of miles away from the Kingdom of Neon.
Thousands of massive warships and Lunaris Dreadnoughts floated and roved like crescent moons, littering the glorious skies.
All of them were surrounding a terrifyingly massive Colony—its majestic buildings rising to the very clouds, as if they were grandiose structures trying to pierce the heavens themselves.
Even from afar, the massive skyscrapers resembled opaque crystalline works of wonder, shimmering with the silver light of the very moon.
The largest building bore a crescent moon at its peak as a bright barrier surrounded all corners.
All of this was the Colony Capital of Virelux Ascendria—the largest city under the banner of the Lunaris Colony Dynasty.
On this day…
If anyone had been floating near the thousands of warships and Lunaris Dreadnoughts, they would've heard a terrifying roar reverberating from the tallest structure in the capital.
A roar filled with primal power and incomprehensible rage.
It was the roar of the Lunaris Throne, who had just seen—and heard—the recording of a young man who had the authority to display a memory as truth.
A wretch who dared to expose the affairs of the Throne to the common people.
There was one thing the Lunaris Throne prided himself on above all else: secrecy. His movements, even if discovered, were known only to others who shared his level of power.
The countless disposable lives beneath him never even knew what was happening—because they weren't worthy to judge him or anything he did.
For a conversation with one of his own Judges, to be released like this… for a wretch to boldly declare the independence of one of his Colony Cities…
HUUM!
His roar echoed again as, for one full hour, the entire Colony Capital of Virelux Ascendria trembled!
Far from this colony capital under the Lunaris Throne's banner—across the Cenotaph Wild Lands—many Colony Cities were scattered. In some regions, the reign of Dynasties overlapped or sat dangerously close.
Some Dynasties shared extremely close borders with the Lunaris Colony Dynasty.
In the lands of the Magitech Colony Dynasty…
Stood the Magitech Colony Capital, known as Seraphim.
Unlike Virelux Ascendria, Seraphim's skies weren't filled with floating vessels, but with massive suits of humanoid armor, each with expansive steel wings humming with radiant Evolutius Energy.
This was the great Dynasty, deeply linked with ancient knowledge surrounding suits of armor—knowledge that, when fused with advanced technology and Evolutius Energy, gave birth to the terrifying Magitech Suits of Ascension.
Suits of armor capable of amplifying and supporting the power of even Dharma Manifestation Entities.
The capital city was patrolled by massive floating Magitech Guards in full armor. The number of Evolutius Beasts in the surrounding region was almost zero, as if they had been completely eradicated—or dared not even approach.
For hundreds of miles around Seraphim, not a single beast could be found.
At this moment, within the heart of Seraphim, which glowed as magnificently as Virelux Ascendria…
The center of the city held not a towering skyscraper, but a titanic Magitech Suit of Ascension—a structure so large, one had to crane their neck just to see its head.
This massive suit was the grandest achievement of innovation and advancement within the Magitech Colony Dynasty.
It was known as the Seraphim Frame.
It shimmered with obsidian and purple brilliance—a fantastical creation of human ingenuity and natural power.
The head of the Magitech Suit, as large as a hundred-story building, pulsed with the auras of thousands of lifeforms moving busily within. Deep within its inner halls—where few had access…
"I am Achilles Maxwell. Some of you know me as King Primal…"
The voice echoed, even here, as two humans—identical in appearance—watched the same video that had been broadcast across the Kingdom of Neon.
A video that unveiled the inner workings and horrifying truths of the Lunaris Throne. A message that marked the departure of a Colony City from the rule of the Thirteen Dynasties.
It was a pivotal moment.
The man and woman, appearing in their thirties, looked at each other as they shook their heads.
Both were seated upon obsidian-purple thrones, overlooking a grand hall filled with Magitech Suits of Ascension.
The woman—her hair dark as night and her tan skin giving her an exotic beauty—clicked her tongue as her expression turned sour.
"The rumors about that fool Lunaris are actually true. Did you know of this full truth, Brother? Since you represent Magitech and hold a seat among the Dynasty Keepers, surely you all knew the behavior of one of your own, right?"
Her gaze was sharp, accusatory.
The man she called brother was another ruler of the Magitech Dynasty. His expression was heavy, somber—as though her question was one he couldn't answer.
His bronze skin and powerful build made him look commanding. His power level surpassed even Dharma Manifestation Entities.
He was an Astral Core Ascension Entity.
"My dear fucking brother," she snapped, her voice like sharpened steel. "Did you know? And was this one of the things you kept from me?"
…!
Her tone grew colder and more authoritative—as if she were the true ruler of the Magitech Dynasty.
The man on the opposing obsidian-purple throne sighed deeply, looking at her with regret in his eyes.
"I didn't want you to see the ugliness of even the most powerful among us, Elizabeth. I—"
HUUM!
The surrounding air began to tremble. All the Magitech Suits in the grand chamber vibrated violently, as if resonating with the fury of their master:
The woman seated on the throne.
The True Magitech Throne.
Her eyes were frozen and unyielding.
"What you've done is lose my trust," she said quietly, dangerously. "With terrifying Ancient Ones rising from their graves, it's more important than ever that humanity stands united. I thought the Dynasty Keepers were doing just that. That despite greed and pride, you would hold each other accountable. Not cover up the crimes of killing hundreds of thousands and turning entire cities into farms—human fucking farms."
She stood.
"This is the last straw, Adexus."
…!
Her fury was silent, simmering.
The False Magitech Throne said nothing, eyes lowered in shame as the True Throne turned away, her voice ringing with finality:
"We will send Magitech Vessels to Neon at once—to establish a relationship with this… King Primal. In a time when the Ancient Ones are rising again to drown this world in chaos, we need humans who actually care for humanity—not just themselves."
Her eyes flashed.
"He had the strength and courage to reveal the atrocities of the Lunaris Throne. His power may very well rival our own. My Magitech Seraphim Frame will fly to him, and I will speak with this King Primal through it…"
…!
And so, the events began to unfold—like falling dominoes—as a storm of motion stirred within one of the most powerful Dynasties in existence.
What do you think?
