I Can Assimilate Everything

Chapter 177: Build II

As he entered and looked at the many towers spread across the City of Titanfall and its people, he continued to speak nonchalantly.

"In the depths of the City of Titanfall, there are the Inner Forge Canyons… cavernous valleys glowing with veins of molten ore and forge rivers that are home to Living Forges where Titan Dwarves once sang to metal… and then, there was the Grand Core Anvil that I would have loved to Assimi— to see. But it is no longer here, is it?"

The purple and gold eyes of the Tyrant King were sharp as he spoke, sadness flickering in them as if he had experienced a great loss.

The Grand Core Anvil.

Just thinking about it made King Darrun Flamewake pulse with fury.

It used to be located in the mountain's heart— a levitating forge-anvil that was the source of the city's heartbeat. It radiated pulses of raw creation and was where the most profound items were forged within Titanfall Mountain.

And yet…

"No, it is no longer here. Taken by the Ancient One who rules over a grand city we built with the blood of our Titan Dwarves—Sanctarith Ultara. Ruled by High Zenithar Malgorith, the Crowned Blasphemer, the Voice of the First Flame, the Shepherd of Subjugation— that vile being plucked the very heart of Titanfall Mountain and took it with him after he was done with us. He took the Grand Core Anvil, the very core of our identity and belief. Without it, forging anything requires a massive expenditure of Primordial Energy. Which means… we are greatly limited in what we can forge for you."

…!

Sanctarith Ultara.

The High Zenithar Malgorith, the Crowned Blasphemer!

These names were whispered by the Tyrant King as he nodded, continuing to fly across the City of Titanfall, appreciating its massive towers while nodding and greeting its people.

"Little Fatty, the right hand to the forehead is the greeting of this race?"

His mate, glowing with green flames beside him, asked as the Tyrant King nodded.

"Mmm, it means goodwill."

He replied with a smile, and the one who called the Tyrant King Little Fatty nodded brightly and gave the greeting to a small Titan Dwarf standing beside two massive ones.

A wee child Titan Dwarf stumbled back, then returned the greeting in kind.

And they continued flying across the City of Titanfall.

Past its towers.

Past the Echovault Districts, the residential and crafting regions where dwellings were formed by harmonic resonance, each home shaped by the personality of its dweller.

The walls sang when touched, light danced in patterns tied to emotion, and the floors shifted to welcome tired feet.

The Tyrant King and his mate passed through them, observing all of it with smiles as if they were discovering something entirely new—enjoying a day of sightseeing.

The atmosphere of the City of Titanfall was always profound; the air hummed with a low thrum, like the world's heartbeat.

Auroral storms of silent energy swirled around its mountain peaks and obsidian crystal towers, discharging colored lightning—red, gold, indigo—that occasionally solidified into illusory mineral veins in the skies.

The Tyrant King and his mate took in all of it as they looked upon the City of Titanfall and its people, their Ancient One pet following close behind with an increasingly stern expression.

And after they reached the center of Titanfall—surrounded by three massive radiant obsidian, crimson, and blue crystal towers—the Tyrant King turned to King Darrun Flamewake and those who followed him and spoke calmly.

"Alright, I know that Titanfall Mountain is a movable mountain that can travel across the very lands of this world. Bring it close to the Kingdom of Neon in the distance… and begin forging the Ancient Impenetrable Titanwall Dome around both Neon and Titanfall."

…!

He spoke calmly, but his words caused multiple Titan Dwarves nearby to turn ashen!

The Ancient Impenetrable Titanwall Dome.

A dome that could even withstand attacks from Dharma Manifestation entities—so long as enough energy was provided to sustain it!

It was the ultimate city-protecting bastion, but it was also…

"Impossible!"

King Darrun Flamewake's eyes were now red as he bellowed,

"The Ancient Impenetrable Titanwall Dome took the lives of many of our forces to enact years ago—and that was when we still had the Grand Core Anvil to grant us seas of energy! You say you will not harm my people, yet your first request would do exactly that! You…!"

King Darrun Flamewake was utterly furious.

Yet the Tyrant King remained calm, shaking his head.

"All the energy you need, I will provide… and more."

…!

As he spoke.

His hands waved, releasing a splendor of gold, purple, and white.

In an instant, dozens of vibrant fruits pulsed with gold and purple hues, white flames dancing around them as they emanated a terrifying purity.

He produced them in his left hand, continuing until they piled up into a small mountain beside him. He then took one and tossed it toward King Darrun Flamewake, who caught it in stunned silence.

He had refined and utilized multiple types of energies before.

Each had its uniqueness.

But none… were this pure!

What he sensed from the purple-gold fruit dancing with white flames was so pure it felt like he had laid hands upon an ancient Panacea from a treasured land!

And yet what he held was being produced by the Tyrant King in wild abundance. At that moment, the Tyrant King even said—

"Give it a try… eat."

…!

Eat?

Eat such a precious Panacea?

King Darrun Flamewake's eyes burned—he felt as if he'd be desecrating a sacred, profound source of energy.

It could be saved for perilous times. If used as a material… the wonders that could be forged would be legendary!

But…

King Darrun Flamewake saw the dozens more Panaceas produced in just the last few seconds. He couldn't help himself—he brought the fruit to his mouth and swallowed it in one gulp.

And…

HUUM!

His existence buzzed.

The power dulled by the Long Slumber surged as he regained a fraction of his strength.

And the energies coursing through him… were three in number!

Extremely Pure Primordial Energy—the same kind they once received from the Grand Core Anvil.

And then… two other energies, equally pure.

Purple and pristine—it resembled the Aeonic Chains that had bound them during the Long Slumber.

And then… a white, flaming energy—the purest of them all!

With this energy…

With all three together…

"We could easily build the Ancient Impenetrable Titanwall Dome if we had these to replenish us daily… we could even possibly forge constructs and wonders only theorized over thousands of years, if we had constant access to energy this pure from these Panaceas!"

…!

His eyes shone as he turned to look at the Tyrant King, filled with shock and disbelief.

And the young human king simply smiled.

"I told you, none of your people would die. Weeks and months from now, you'll look back at this meeting and realize just how lucky Titanfall Mountain was to align with me. These fruits you call Panaceas… you'll have in abundance. They will augment your power and much more. With all this… do you think the Titan Dwarves can get started within the day?"

…!
