When Lu Qing emerged from the Treasure Pavilion, a smile graced his face.

The haul from this expedition was simply enormous.

Therefore, he didn’t dwell on it any further and pulled out an ordinary cloth bag from the Qiankun Qi Bag. After filling it with some items, he headed in the direction of the Martial Arts Training Ground.

The swordsman chatting with the elder doctor at the Martial Arts Training Ground was surprised to see Lu Qing’s figure.

When Lu Qing approached, he smiled and said, “Young Master, you’ve come out so soon. Didn’t you find any treasure?”

The swordsman smiled warmly but didn’t inquire further about what treasures Lu Qing had acquired.

“Master, now that the Flowing Cloud Sect has been extinguished, when shall we depart?” Lu Qing asked.

The elder doctor thought for a moment, then said, “Once we return to the town, we’ll pack up and leave.”

“You all are leaving so soon?” the swordsman was taken aback.

“Yes, since the matters here have concluded, it’s time for us to leave,” the elder doctor nodded.

“But you have rid Yunzhou of the scourge of the Flowing Cloud Sect, and saved so many fellows here in Yunzhou. We have not yet had the chance to properly thank you,” the swordsman hurriedly said.

“That won’t be necessary,” the elder doctor chuckled, “Our visit to Yunzhou was just a coincidence, and we have more important matters to attend to in Central State. It’s not appropriate to linger here any longer. Mr. Yan, we appreciate your sentiment, please don’t be overly courteous.”

The swordsman persuaded them for a while, but upon learning that Lu Qing and the others did indeed have urgent matters to attend to in Central State, he finally gave up.

The elder doctor certainly didn’t want to be encircled and bid farewell to by onlookers when it came time to leave.

The elder doctor took the lead toward the carriage.
