I Fabricated the Techniques, but my disciple really mastered them?

Chapter 1168: Spinoff: Taihao and the Apocalypse Evil Thought

The void was indescribable, without years, the passage of time, or any living beings—everything was a blank nothingness, impossible to express.

In that void, profound beyond profound, formless, incorporeal, silent, resembling nothing yet surpassing the concept of nothing, it emerged within and dominated above nothingness until a beam of golden light illuminated the void, like an endless path extending over it.

When the golden light vanished, returning to formlessness, it seemed that dust had been added to the void; it was no longer pure nothingness, but had gained substance.

The dust gathered together, eventually forming a small piece of land. It was unclear if years had yet begun, but on this small land, due to the significance beyond nothingness, a tiny sapling sprouted. As the sapling grew, it gradually became a lush, massive tree.

In the midst of the void, the lush, massive tree grew solitarily, and after numerous uncounted years, a fruit suddenly appeared on the tree and, upon ripening, fell.

Thump!

For the first time, a sound occurred in the void.

The fruit’s shell cracked open to reveal a core resembling a human, shrouded in a glowing mist, which landed and slowly grew, eventually opening its eyes—the first creature was born.

The human-shaped creature grew, and although it didn’t understand years, it occasionally sat under the tree as if contemplative, observing something, looking into the void beyond the tree.

With insight, the human-shaped creature seemed to gain understanding, their power within grew stronger, along with greater and more mystical abilities. Sometimes, they would leave the vicinity of the tree, walking in the void.

After an unfathomable span of time, a sense of loneliness emerged. Looking up at the tree, which once felt majestic but now appeared ordinary to them, it seemed they grew more powerful, stronger than the tree itself.

During one introspective moment, the creature mumbled, "Boundless and supreme, ’heaven’ above all, I should have a name, let’s call it ’Hao.’"

Hao gazed into the void, towards the tree beside him, and pondered the deep, ineffable mysteries as if seeing their own birth and the void no longer being void.

"I, Hao, should perhaps create something. Using the tree as a foundation, why not create all living beings and the Domain?!"

Hao, inspired by the tree, broke off a branch and walked into the void, slashing with all their might.

Boom!

The void trembled and sounded. Hao revealed a smile, swinging the branch and chopping into the void; at a certain moment, light flickered in the void, thunder roared, and it was split open.

"Hahaha, yes, yes, indeed, this is thunder, correctly named, I, Hao, won’t be alone anymore."

From then on, Hao chopped into the void daily. The area affected by their slashing grew ever larger, filled with incessant thunder, as if it were a domain saturated with thunder.

"No, this isn’t enough!"

Hao fell into deep thought. What was the significance of just having thunder?

They sat under the tree, attuning themselves to the profound, indescribable Dao, and finally found inspiration, then resumed chopping.

After countless years of chopping, the void around the tree had disappeared, replaced by a sea of thunder, rumbling and flashing with varied colors. Hao looked upon this scene with anticipation.

Now, Hao had become much stronger and could easily split the void, creating realms of thunder.

"With the tree as a foundation, I shall carve out a Realm, bring forth the world, and give birth to All Living Beings!"

Excited, Hao embarked on their endeavor to carve out a Realm using the tree as a base, to create a world and birth myriad beings.

Eventually, after Hao tirelessly labored for unmeasured years, a vast world was born. The thunder of creation roared, splitting the void, and the Aura of Spiritual Grace emerged. The split void also released the solid Imperishable Qi.

As the thunder waned, the Imperishable Qi sank and formed the land, while the Aura of Spiritual Grace floated, creating the sky. Thus, Domain was born; Hao ran excitedly through it, while the initial breach in the void bathed in colors, filled with a blend of light.

After an undefined number of years, at the original location, the diffuse glow seemed to spill out, and a beam of light shone through the world—a purple light.

"Let this mark the passage of years, in a cycle that returns to the beginning, one light for an era, one light for the years," Hao murmured excitedly.

The land existed, but All Living Beings were not yet born. Hao sat in contemplation, eyes closed, attuning to the profound mystery to find the way to bring forth life.

After countless years passed and Hao opened their eyes, they saw the Domain had drifted from its original place, seeming loose and ready to disperse before long. They fretted until, at one moment, they saw that mighty tree, still firmly rooted and even more immense, and immediately had an idea.

Thus, Hao used the tree to support the Domain, its roots as land and canopy as sky. A truly vast Domain emerged, and the tree’s pervasive energy brought vitality. Delicate green sprouts grew across the land.
