Chapter 215
Hello,
This is the gravedigger.
Finishing a story always feels like a strange experience.
It doesn't quite feel real, and even today, when I go home, I feel like I’ll be writing until dawn.
There’s a sense of relief and accomplishment now that it's completed, but... I also feel a bit of regret.
Is this how a father feels when his daughter becomes independent?
I think I loved this work much more than I realized.
I still wish I could spend a little more time with it, and I’m left with a strong desire to tell more of Da-eun’s story.
I’ve seen many comments wishing for side stories or more content.
As an author, that makes me incredibly happy.
But, as I promised from the beginning, I’m just glad I could provide the full story until the end.
While writing, I received a lot of help from the author of Apocalypse Survivor Baeksul’s Shigonghaseyo.
To be honest, there were many people who helped me, but this is the first time someone specifically asked to be mentioned in the afterword...
It was so much help that I just had to mention it.
I want to talk more about this work, but...
It’s probably best to focus on what I need to say.
If you have any questions, feel free to leave them in the Q&A section.
My rambling is best left there, I think.
Since the side story is important, I don’t want my rambling to drag on too much.
To all the readers who loved I Hate Streamers,
Thank you.
It’s because of the people who read and supported the story that I made it to the end.
Without you, I couldn’t have finished the story.
Regarding the side stories, I have a simple plan.
After taking a short break, I plan to start serializing side stories.
Naturally, I’m also thinking of 19+ side stories.
I am a little cautious, though.
There are some things that remain unsaid for a reason, and I fear that delving into it might ruin the mood.
But at this point, it seems strange not to write at least one.
I’ll do my best, despite my lack of skill.
However, I can’t avoid addressing this topic.
A 19+ story featuring Da-eun alone should be fine.
It might not live up to expectations, but I don’t think it will anger the readers.
However, there could be issues with scenes that involve other characters.
Whether it’s Amet or Yuri routes... even if it’s an alternate storyline, I think some people might not like it.
I shouldn’t just write down everything that comes to mind.
As an author, I’m deeply conflicted.
Especially with the Amet route, there are few male characters connected to Da-eun, so it makes things more difficult.
I also have a lot of doubts about how far I can go with the content.
I would appreciate your feedback on this matter.
I’ve pretty much explored all of Da-eun’s internal elements in the main story, so...
Right now, I don’t have many ideas for side stories.
I’ll do my best to think of something during my break, but I don’t think there will be too many side stories.
I’ll post my afterword in the comments.
I’ll ask for opinions on the Amet or Yuri route side stories.
You can submit your thoughts through the comments or replies, and I’ll consider them.
I won’t automatically decide based on the most votes, and the same goes for if there’s a strong opposition.
I just want to see what the general consensus is.
To conclude...
Thank you once again.
Gravedigger,
Sincerely
What do you think?
