Chapter 1185: All of Them Must Die
Chapter 1185: All of Them Must Die
"So you're going to kill me to silence me?" Ye An laughed upon hearing Lin Cang's words. Her smile faded as she coldly uttered, "Who do you think you are?"
Boom!
A terrifying surge of spear intent erupted from her like a violent storm.
Rumble!
In an instant, the powerful elites of the Great Zhou Imperial Guards were blasted away. At the same time, Ye An shot into the sky, her spear flying fiercely toward Lin Cang.
The heavens and the earth dimmed beneath her might.
Lin Cang's face changed. The calm confidence he displayed just moments ago was gone. He hadn't just underestimated Ye An—he had grossly underestimated her.
No longer daring to treat her lightly, Lin Cang opened his palm, summoning a spear. He descended like a falling meteor, and the space around him collapsed inch by inch under his immense power.
It was a sight that was both terrifying and awe-inspiring.
When he reached Ye An, he thrust his spear toward her. At the same instant, Ye An gripped her spear and thrust her spear skyward.
Bang!
The collision shattered Lin Cang's weapon, and he was blasted away as well. His physical body disintegrated bit by bit in midair. He retreated thousands of meters away before coming to a stop, and his fleshly body was no more, leaving only his soul intact.
Lin Cang was stunned.
The onlookers, including Zhou Yan and the others, were shocked.
The Commander of the Great Imperial Guards couldn't withstand even a single blow from her?
Swoosh!
Ye An disappeared from her original position. In an instant, a streak of spear energy swept across the battlefield like a raging thunderstorm, reducing the surrounding spacetime to dust.
Witnessing that, Lin Cang's hairs stood on end. He hastily shouted, "Stop her!"
At his command, the surrounding elites of the Great Zhou Imperial Guards charged at Ye An, and their combined aura was so overwhelming that it suffocated Sima Feng and the others in the distance.
A ferocious glint flashed in Ye An's eyes as she twisted her wrist, sweeping her spear in a wide arc.
Boom!
With just one sweep, she sent hundreds of Great Zhou Imperial Guards flying away. Among the vanguard, over a dozen were instantly obliterated; their fleshly bodies shattered and their souls erased.
Sima Feng, who had been tense and nervous, couldn't contain his excitement any longer and exclaimed, "She's so strong!"
Beside him, Qu Chen nodded slightly. "Indeed."
Far away, Lin Cang's face darkened. He had never imagined that Ye An would be so strong despite her young age.
Swoosh!
Ye An vanished again, and the crowd only saw a streak of spear light as the heads of the Great Zhou Imperial Guards took to the skies, leaving behind their headless stumps spewing blood into the air.
Before anyone could react, more heads flew to the skies.
A massacre! It was nothing short of a slaughter.
In less than five seconds, the Great Zhou Imperial Guards on the battlefield were dead. They were all killed by Ye An, and they couldn't even fight back.
Lin Cang was filled with terror. "You...!"
Zhou Yan and the others turned pale, their faces as white as paper. Ye An's horrific strength was far beyond anything they could have anticipated.
After exterminating the Great Zhou Imperial Guards, Ye An turned toward Lin Cang. Just as she was about to strike again, a voice echoed from the sky.
"Lady Ye An, please, have mercy."
A man dressed in a yellow robe emerged from the spacetime rift.
When Ye Guan saw the man, his eyes narrowed slightly.
The newcomer was familiar to him—the Fourth Prince of Great Zhou, Zhou Di.
Ye An stared coldly at Zhou Di. "Who are you?"
Zhou Di smiled gently as he stepped forward. "Lady Ye An, my name is Zhou Di, and I'm the Fourth Prince of Great Zhou. This is all a misunderstanding! A simple misunderstanding!"
Ye An's expression remained emotionless. "They tried to kill me. And that's a misunderstanding?"
Zhou Di glanced at Lin Cang before smiling again. "Lady Ye An, might we speak privately?"
Ye An coldly replied, "We can talk right here."
Zhou Di's smile stiffened momentarily but quickly returned. "Lady Ye An, you must know that Great Zhou and the Guanxuan Academy are in the middle of a merger. If word of this incident spreads, it will certainly affect our relationship and destroy the friendship we've worked so hard to build—"
"Relationship?" Ye An cut him off. "Isn't the Great Zhou a mere subordinate of the Guanxuan Academy?"
Zhou Di's smile faded. "Lady Ye An, the Great Zhou, and the Guanxuan Academy are equals. Please remember that."
Ye An turned to glance at Ye Guan in the distance before looking back at Zhou Di. "Equals? From what I understand, Empress Zhou Fan has already implemented the Guanxuan Laws throughout the Great Zhou, making the Guanxuan Academy supreme. And you're actually claiming equality?"
"Lady Ye An, if you insist on framing things that way, then there's nothing more to discuss."
Ye An chuckled. "I must say, my little brother is far too merciful. If it were my grandfather in charge, the Great Zhou would be exterminated."
Zhou Di's eyes narrowed slightly. "Lady Ye An, while you are the Academy Master's elder sister, that doesn't mean you can speak recklessly. The Guanxuan Academy is merely a Tier One universe civilization, while the Great Zhou is a Tier Five Civilization.
"Despite the gap between us, we're willing to cooperate with you and even offer you some assistance. Tell me, are we not generous enough?"
Ye An waved his hand dismissively. "I don't care about any of that. I want to know one thing—how do you plan to deal with the fact that your people tried to kill me?"
Zhou Di said evenly, "Lady Ye An, I came here today for a friendly discussion. I believe it's foolish to let a small matter like this disrupt the friendship between the Great Zhou and the Guanxuan Academy."
Ye An's expression turned cold. "So?"
"So, I suggest we put this matter to rest. Of course, some people must die," Zhou Di replied.
"Who?"
Zhou Di pointed at the group behind Ye An.
"Them—all of them must die," Zhou Di said firmly and in a tone of voice that left no room for negotiation.
Sima Feng and the others turned pale, and their eyes were filled with worry as they looked at Ye An.
Ye An pointed at Ye Guan and Zang Gang in the distance. "Them too?"
Zhou Di nodded slightly. "All of them. No one here will live after today."
"And if I refuse?"
"Lady Ye An, you are the Academy Master's sister, and I sincerely don't want to harm you. I truly hope you will consider the bigger picture and not make things difficult for me."
Ye An raised her spear. "What if I don't care about the bigger picture? Are you going to kill me to silence me, too?"
Zhou Di replied calmly, "Lady Ye An, the people of the Abandoned Continent are mere ants. And those by your side are nothing but small players within the Guanxuan Universe.
"Do you really think it's worth jeopardizing the friendship between the Great Zhou and the Guanxuan Academy for their sake?"
"The Great Zhou?" Ye An's gaze turned icy. "If the Great Zhou refuses to submit, then it will be destroyed."
Zhou Di's expression darkened. "Lady Ye An, your arrogance is unparalleled, but you—"
Ye An cut him off. "Do you know why I've been entertaining your nonsense for so long?"
Zhou Di's eyes narrowed slightly.
Ye An smirked. "As you said, my little brother has worked hard to build this Order, and as his older sister, I don't want to cause trouble for him. I allowed you to yap because I was giving you a chance to kneel and apologize."
Everyone was speechless.
"Haha..." Zhou Di laughed in anger. "You're giving us a chance to kneel and apologize? Ridiculous!"
He wasn't afraid of Ye An. Although she was the Academy Master's sister, she held no official position within the Guanxuan Academy. Moreover, their relationship as siblings was shallow at best.
In the Great Zhou, even blood siblings slaughtered one another like sworn enemies.
Zhou Di had already investigated and confirmed that Ye An had spent most of her life in the Milky Way and had little connection to the Guanxuan Universe.
There was no deep bond between her and Ye Guan.
With no emotional ties, there was no risk in killing her!
With that in mind, Zhou Di waved his hand.
Boom!
The spacetime around them trembled violently.
The fabric of spacetime was torn open, and twelve warriors clad in dark battle armor stepped forward.
Zhou Yan and the others were thrilled upon seeing them.
The Great Zhou Shence Army!
The Great Zhou's strongest armed force!
Zhou Yan hadn't expected that the Fourth Prince had the authority to mobilize them. It was an unexpected boon.
There were twelve of them, and they were all Divine Dao Realm experts with ninety percent divinity. They were not invincible in the Guanxuan Universe, but they were still terrifyingly powerful.
Zhou Di gazed down at Ye An and said, " Lady Ye An, this is your last chance. If you agree to my terms—"
"C'mere." Ye An cut him off. "Kill me."
Zhou Di stared deeply at her before saying, "Kill her. I'll take responsibility."
What do you think?
