Chapter 849: Chapter 850 Can’t Kill_1

“Right side, right side, it’s swimming over here!” a sailor shouted, pointing at the sea.

The sailor holding the harpoon gun, hefting the weapon that weighed over a hundred kilograms, ran to the right side of the cargo ship and placed the harpoon gun on the rail, aiming at the massive shadow beneath the ship and pulled the trigger;

“Captain, it really is a shark, we saw it with our own eyes, it leaped out of the water and swallowed Hongzi whole!” a crew member said softly.

“Yeah, yeah, Captain, we all saw it!” a few others chimed in;

The captain’s face darkened as he quickly walked to Bazi’s side and looked down into the water. When he saw the dark shadow under the water, he couldn’t help but gasp;

“Damn it, how could there be such a big shark, have I gone back to the Jurassic Period?” the captain muttered under his breath.

“I’ve already hit it with one arrow, straight on target. It should be injured by now. If I shoot it a few more times, I should be able to scare it away!” Bazi spoke softly;

“Is there a chance to kill it? This thing might fetch a good price!” the captain’s eyes gleamed with greed.

“Captain, I think we should consider ourselves lucky if we can drive it away,” Bazi said helplessly, as he triggered the harpoon gun again;

Boom~

Another dull sound. The harpoon was fired, hitting the dark shadow underwater. Two harpoons, even a whale should be injured and flee, but the shadow under the water seemed to be enraged instead of retreating, still looming around the cargo ship, showing no sign of leaving;

With a puzzled look, Bazi stared at the surface of the water, feeling that something was not quite right.

“Damn it, keep attacking, what are you dazing out for!” The captain, seeing Bazi’s expression, slapped him on the shoulder and shouted loudly;

“Why do I feel like something’s off, like there’s something I missed!” Bazi murmured quietly.

“Is this the time to think about such nonsense, continue the attack, kill it, kill that monster!” the captain yelled.

Once again, the giant shark beneath the ship charged towards the freighter, and Song Jian could even hear the grating sound of the steel hull twisting underwater;

“Do you think they can kill that monster?” Song Jian shrugged and asked.

“How could they?” Hao Dong exclaimed in surprise: “Their current attacks are at best equivalent to those of rookie players, and without any enhancements at that. This is a level 35 elite boss; their attacks can’t even break through the boss’s defense. At most, they can force some health to drop, but with their current attack speed, they can’t even keep up with the boss’s health regeneration!”
