Chapter 277: Furious Girlfriend
Garry let out a deep breath, lost in his own thoughts.
He had never gone back to her. Not even once.
The disrespect he felt that day was beyond anything he could tolerate.
He had given everything. His time. His love. His trust. And in return? She said nothing.
That silence had killed something inside him.
And so, he never tried again.
His entire past life had passed with that unspoken wound lingering in the back of his mind. He had never even considered another woman not because he couldn't, but because he refused to.
After what he experienced, he lost all trust in women.
And after hearing Lucian's story? That had just confirmed it for him. It was pointless.
But if there was one small regret it was never asking why.
Maybe he should have. Maybe he should have gone to her just once, demanded an answer.
But by the time he had even considered it, it was already too late.
This time, though fate had played its hand.
He had met her brother. By sheer coincidence.
And something inside Garry snapped. He couldn't hold it back.
He asked.
And now, as he sat at this table, remembering it all, he exhaled slowly.
"Why'd you go silent?"
Lucian's voice broke through his thoughts. He was watching Garry closely.
Jimmy, too, had his arms crossed, waiting.
"What happened?" Lucian leaned forward. "What did her brother say?"
Garry had stopped talking, lost in his own thoughts.
But just as he opened his mouth to continue
THUD.
"Finally found you, you slut bastard!"
A woman's voice, filled with irritation, cut through the air.
Lucian, Garry, and Jimmy instantly turned their heads.
Garry shut his mouth, eyebrows twitching.
Two women were walking straight toward them.
One looked young, mid-twenties at most. The other was slightly older, maybe mid thirties.
Both were walking fast. Both looked pissed.
Lucian blinked. "Are they looking at us?"
Garry squinted. "Looks like it and I think they're angry at one of us."
All three of them instinctively turned to Jimmy.
The women's eyes locked onto him.
"Ohh, Jimmy, you never told us."
Garry's expression instantly switched to teasing.
Lucian smirked, leaning back. "Damn, Jimmy. What is this?"
Jimmy's face twisted in pure disgust.
"What the fuck are you guys taking me for? Eww. They're old as fuck."
He turned his face away, fully rejecting the idea.
"I'm not into MILFs. I'm into young. Definitely wouldn't date an older woman. And even if I did, she sure as hell wouldn't be cursing me out like this."
Jimmy crossed his arms, his tone dead serious.
Garry gasped.
"Gulp… Jimmy, I never thought… Now I see why you're single."
He shook his head dramatically.
"Tsk tsk. You're into mino—"
He froze mid-sentence, looking around the table as if double-checking his surroundings.
Jimmy's eyebrow twitched.
"Garry. Shut your mouth or I'll"
Garry was ofcourse irritated when Jimmy Said something about older women's.
Like whats bad in older women's.
Jimmy's fists clenched at the audacity of this fool.
Lucian chuckled.
"Relax. He didn't even say anything yet."
"I mean young. Like, adult young." Jimmy shot back, his irritation growing. "Nineteen or twenty at most. Definitely younger than me."
Lucian hummed, rubbing his chin. "So… if it's not Jimmy and it's not Garry… then who"
His gaze shifted.
So did Garry's.
So did Jimmy's.
They all turned to Alex.
Alex's face dropped.
"Ohh, no. I told you. Not this restaurant. Now it's happening."
He immediately tried to hide his face.
Lucian's eyes widened.
"Ah-ha! So it's you."
His lips curled into a curious grin.
So what we have here
Jimmy crossed his arms.
Alex?
He looked like he was about to die.
THUD.
The young woman slammed her purse onto the table, making heads turn in the restaurant.
Her expression was furious.
Without hesitation, she grabbed Alex by the collar.
"You motherfucker! Where the hell were you last night?!"
Her voice cut through the air, and several customers turned to watch the scene unfold.
Alex flinched but didn't resist. He had been through these kinds of situations before.
"I waited in the room all night, but you never came!" she shouted, shaking him slightly.
Lucian, Jimmy, and Garry just stared.
"Don't try to hide your face, you bastard! Look at me and tell me where you were!" she demanded.
Alex exhaled sharply, trying to keep his voice low.
"Hey, sweetheart… take it easy. I'll explain, alright? People are watching. We're in a restaurant"
"KEEP MY VOICE LOW?!" she snapped.
Her grip on his collar tightened.
"You answer me first, or I swear, Alex"
A second voice cut in.
"Good, Suzan! You should ask him thoroughly."
The older woman, probably in her late 30s, stepped closer. Her gaze was sharp, approving of her daughter's rage.
"How can someone be so irresponsible? Going out for an entire night without telling anyone?!"
Suzan, still glaring at Alex, nodded.
"Of course, mother. Don't worry, I'll teach him a lesson today."
She turned back to Alex, her voice rising even higher.
"So, MR. BOYFRIEND" she practically spat the word.
"If you don't want to get embarrassed in front of all these people, you better start talking. Right. Now.
"Or are you cheating on me?"
She yelled.
A few gasps rippled through the restaurant. More people started whispering.
Even her mother nodded, crossing her arms.
Jimmy leaned back in his chair, grinning.
Lucian's lips twitched. This was getting interesting.
Alex, on the other hand, was sweating bullets.
His eyes snapped toward Lucian, pleading for backup.
"I was at the hospital last night!" Alex blurted out.
Suzan's eyes narrowed.
"The whole night! I swear! This guy's sister had an accident, and I helped him get her to the hospital in my car! I was there the entire time!"
He gestured toward Lucian desperately.
Lucian, finally stepping in, started to nod.
"Ah, yes, I wa—"
But Suzan didn't buy it.
Her grip on Alex's collar tightened.
Her expression darkened.
"Lying to me now, too? First, cheating, and now you're going to stand here and lie to my face?!"
She let go of his collar abruptly.
Alex stumbled back, coughing.
"I'm not cheating, I swear"
Suzan wasn't listening.
She reached for her purse, quickly unzipping it.
Lucian, Jimmy, and Garry leaned forward, curious.
What the hell was she about to pull out?
Suzan dug inside for a second before yanking something out.
With a dramatic flourish, she held it up in front of Alex's face.
"THEN WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!"
Alex blinked.
He stared.
His mind froze.
Suzan was holding up a pair of panties.
P-P-P-Panties?!?!"
Alex stammered.
These aren't mine i swear.
