I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess

Chapter 102: Survival Combat Class? [5]

Millis sat on Lillian's lower abdomen and glared down at her with a pout.

Lillian stared back with a shaky smile. She then watched as Marionette walked behind Millis and picked her up by the scruff of her neck.

She stared down at her with a cold expression and said:

"We'll be going again."

Millis widened her eyes at that and thrashed around.

"The hell we are! I ain't through that shit again!"

Marionette rolled her eyes and chucked her aside before staring down at Lillian.

Lillian watched as Millis fell with a groan before slowly dragging her gaze towards Marionette, who stared down at her somewhat impatiently.

"I'm done with her now. Let's spar, Lillian."

Lillian smiled wryly at her. She then pushed her hand towards her.

"Mind helping me up first?"

Marionette stared coolly at her outstretched hand before grabbing onto it and pulling her up.

After Lillian got back onto her feet, she wondered about what to say. Should she just spar with her for a bit?

'Eh... does reputation mean that much?'

It did a bit. She wanted to at least retain said "reputation" for more than a school day.

Just as she was about to respond, a familiar voice came up to the side. It had quite the slothful tone though.

"How about we spar instead?"

The two women turned their heads to the right, staring as the tired Prince stumbled towards them.

His hair was dishevelled, something you wouldn't expect from the Prince, and the flat side of his sword rested against his shoulder.

He then added:

"I'm sure you would rather have a more... skilled opponent... No offence, Lillian."

Lillian shook her head and stepped away from Marionette.

"None taken! And I think his logic is quite right! Don't you think it's better to fight someone like him?"

Marionette narrowed her eyes at Lillian before sighing, brandishing her blade at the Prince and accepting.

"Very well. I shall take you up on your offer."

The Prince nodded, straightening his hunched posture and rolling his shoulders.

They then entered their stance.

Their hands gripped their weapons.

The Second Prince pointed his gladius towards the Marionette.

Marionette did the same with her standard sword—a weapon most commonly mass-produced for ordinary soldiers.

The Prince's stance was sharp and at the same time—imposing.

The relaxed air around him was replaced with a radiant authority—a stark contrast to his usual manner.

Marionette's stance was elegant and calculating.

While she didn't give off any noticeable aura, you would feel as if an imaginary shiver crawled on your skin.

After a few seconds of entering their stances, they leaned forward, bending their knees, and shot forward.

CLANG!

Their clash rang like the fearsome ringing of a bell.

During the exam, the Prince, being a Disciple at the time, had strength slightly greater than Marionette, at the time.

So after their beginning clashes, he would always seem to win over her in a contest of strength.

The Second Prince pushed her gladius against the Lady of Rose's sword.

An irritable scraping of their blades whistled as they struggled against each other.

While the Prince's strength was slightly greater than Marionette's, he was ironically overshadowed when it came to speed.

SKRRR...!

Marionette twisted her wrist, sliding the edge of her sword down to his sword guard.

With their blades locked together, she pushed against his gladius.

Meanwhile, her strength back then was inferior, but that ultimately changed once she completed her second Trial.

Reph raised a brow once he felt his arm being pushed back.

A subtle incredulous look passed across his face before being replaced with a small and amused smile.

He then began to push back against hers, causing themselves to be locked in a contest of strength.

SKRR...!

Their blades grated against each other endlessly. Not one side seemingly budging.

It was almost like they were evenly matched now, in terms of strength.

However... that changed once the Second Prince turned his blade, freeing himself from the struggle.

He then twisted his body to the side, watching as Marionette's body tilted forward.

Marionette watched her body fall forward and the downward slash from the Prince.

CLANG!

Reph stared at his redirected blade before shifting his attention back to Marionette, who had twisted her body in the air.

After slapping the gladius away with her blade, Marionette tightly gripped her hilt and forcefully stabbed her sword into the ground.

She then jumped, leveraging off her sword, and swinging her leg horizontally at him.

The Prince stepped back, narrowly dodging the kick and feeling the wind brush against his face.

Once dodging the attack, he moved back in before having to defend against another one of Marionette's slashes.

Off to the side, Lillian stared at them with an entertained expression.

Millis walked up to her, rubbing the side of her arm with an annoyed look.

"Ya better got a good reason for gettin' me clobbered like that..."

Lillian smiled softly at her and patted her head, "I uhh... wanted to see... If Marionette could win against you on a one-on-one."

"For real?"

Lillian gave an innocent strong nod.

"Of course!"

Millis squinted her eyes suspiciously at her. This look soon disappeared as she smirked smugly, folding her arms and tilting her face to the sky with a proud look.

"W-well! If I was actually serious, I would definitely win. I'm glad ya can see that, best buddy." she patted Lillian on the back.

Lillian stared wryly at her.

'I can't tell if she's being serious or if she's faking this.'

She rather just assume Millis was serious about what she just said and patted her shoulder.

"Of course... best buddy..."

She then turned back towards the duel happening.

Surprisingly, it went on for quite a bit. But it seemed like the two were just drawing it out just to waste time.

A few dozen or so minutes later, they paused their duel as the Dwarf teacher of the class called out to everyone.
