Chapter 121 121: “The Leader Is A Boy”

The people on the rooftop heard the keyword "survivor" and all of them exclaimed in unison, as if seeing a legendary unicorn appearing right in front of their eyes.

"What?? Survivors?? Really??" The group of people with black hoods immediately swarmed over Aon and Melan, not even taking Bob seriously.

Of course, they still pointed their handguns towards Bob, but their eyes were all focused on the two handsome human beings.

When the group of people saw healthy survivors who didn't look like they were infected by the zombie's virus, they subconsciously sighed in relief.

"Finally, there are survivors. I thought that this city had turned into a dead city of zombies."

One of the people, apparently a woman, murmured in a melancholy voice, almost rivalling Melan's acting skill.

The other people also looked like they found a glimmer of hope in despair.

They all stared at Melan and Aon with fiery eyes, so much so that the two handsome men shuddered from head to toe.

Help! Just what's going on??

The leader of the group saw that the two guests looked uncomfortable, so he immediately pushed the people around and came out of the crowd.

The crowd immediately made way for the leader, like Moses splitting the sea.

The leader stepped forward one step at one time, looking imposing.

Melan and Aon subconsciously straighten their backs and watch the figure getting closer and closer to them...

Until the person stopped less than a meter in front of the three newcomers.

Melan and Aon subconsciously looked up at the leader, only to see the crowd of survivors and the blue sky.

....hm? Where's the leader?

The leader cleared his throat and spoke in a stern voice,

"Hey, look down! What are you doing looking up? Do you want to find birds?"

Melan and Aon immediately looked down and saw...a shorty.

It's not a short middle-aged man or anything.

From the voice and the face faintly revealed beneath the hood...

Melan and Aon gulped and screamed in their hearts at the same time,

Is this a child???

Yes. The short man who was only as tall as Aon's waist...is a child!

He's not a dwarf or something. It's a literal elementary student!

Melan and Aon had a brain circuit for a few seconds before they snapped out of their shocks and quickly used their best acting skills ever.

Melan: "Oh! So you're the leader of these seniors, right? Greetings, team leader."

Aon: "Team leader, you look so young! It's wonderful! You look so cool too!"

The two people blew rainbow farts for the team leader, almost turning the team leader into a boiled shrimp.

"Okay, okay, enough of the flattery!" The team leader quickly waved his hand while covering his flushing face.

His voice was that of a boy who tried to imitate an adult but still failed.

Melan and Aon couldn't help but twitch their lips as they watched the little boy pretending to be a tough man.

Are these survivors crazy? Why would they push a child to be their leader? Isn't this too cruel?

The boy didn't know what the two guests were thinking. After he fanned his red face, the boy straightened his back and started to speak seriously.

"Alright, enough for the chit chat. Let's talk about serious matters."

The boy pointed at Bob, the "serious matters" and started to question the two people thoroughly.

"Why are you guys with this zombie? Did this zombie kidnap you or something? And where did you live before coming to this building?"

"What's the situation outside? Do you have any other companions? Oh yes, on the way to this building, did you run into a herd of female zombies? They've been acting strange..."

Blablablabla—

The child asked so many questions at once that Melan and Aon didn't know what to say first.

In the end, Melan carefully fabricated a lie and explained the whole situation to the boy.

"So...this zombie is your underlings? You're a transcendent person with the power to tame zombies?"

The boy looked at Aon, who was suddenly labelled as a "zombie tamer" and couldn't help but marvel.

He didn't expect to meet such a high-quality survivor!

Melan didn't let Aon speak to clear the misunderstanding and immediately added a few more resumes to themselves.

"As for me, I'm also a transcendent person, and somehow, the female zombies are attracted to me, so the herd of zombies back then was because of me."

Melan confessed the truth but made the details vague, so the survivors and the boy only felt that Melan was such a mysterious, powerful person.

As for the question about the city...

Melan and Aon had a feeling that this city was indeed a dead city of zombies with almost no survivors left.

So, how did these survivors appear at the rooftop?

It was Aon who couldn't contain his curiosity and asked the boy,

"That...it seems that there are no survivors left in this city. Why are you guys still in this city?"

The boy tilted his head and looked at the two people, as if saying: You two are also here, no?

Well, they're here for missions and variety show recording, though...

Seeing that Melan and Aon didn't want to say anything, the boy could only sigh and tell the two people about their group of survivors.

"To be honest, we are not local survivors. We are an exploration team from a nearby survivor base."

Naturally, they were well-equipped from head to toe.

They came here to find food and kill some zombies to get the nucleus crystals inside.

"Of course, we also search for any possible survivors who have not left this city yet, " the boy added.

Anyway, they did find a few survivors who awakened superpowers and became core fighters of their survivor base.

Hearing this, Melan and Aon looked at each other with the same worry.

If these people stay here for a mission...then how could they set up the sky stage??

Melan tried to test the little boy and probed him with a question.

"That...will you guys stay on this rooftop for a while?"

Can't you guys choose another building??

The little boy rubbed his chin and nodded with satisfaction, like a little cat who had just stolen a dry fish.

"Well, well, you're right! We will be staying here for a week. We have turned this rooftop into our temporary stronghold!"

....it's over.

Melan and Aon almost kneeled on the spot.

How could they be so unlucky to choose an occupied building?

Or should they just use the window of the other floors to make a sky stage?

Anyway, the stage would not be inside the building because it was a sky runway.

Melan and Aon glanced at each other and immediately thought of the same thing.

Since it was like this, let's not get too close to natives on the rooftop.

Maybe they still had a chance to make a sky runway at midnight when these people were sleeping!

Melan and Aon nodded at the young team leader and tried to find a way to leave, but before they could, the team leader stretched out his hand and shouted,

"Eh, wait, where are you two going? Since you have survived well, just stay with us!"

Melan and Aon almost kneeled for the second time.

Please, boy, let them go!!

Melan looked at the boy with a stiff smile while saying,

"That...we still have a few companions out there and we also want to gather supplies..."

Before the young team leader could persuade Melan, Aon came to the rescue.

"We won't leave this building! We will just choose a random floor to take shelter, how is it? That way, you won't have to worry about us."

The young boy paused and suddenly felt that...it made sense.

Maybe these two people had a lot of companions and didn't want to live together with them.

Since that's the case...

"How about we help you find your companions? It will be safer."

Aon and Melan didn't have any other reasons to refuse such help, so they could only pray for their "companions" out there while snitching out their locations to these people.

Melan: "Yes, the last time I saw them, they're here, here and here— "

Aon: "There might be a few more at the edge of this city, but let's focus on this area first. There are almost ten of them, yes."

After selling out their companions, Aon and Melan walked down the rooftop with Bob following behind them.

At the same time, the audience who had been watching Aon and Melan's adventure finally couldn't help but bombard the screen with comments.

[These two...are evil.]

[I wish I could tell my idols about how these two people are selling them out!]

[The image of these two people changed into two big devils. Horrible!]

The audiences denounced Aon and Melan, but the two of them had already chosen a floor and a suitable big window where they could start their sky runway project.

Melan and Aon looked at the steel wire they had in hands and they simultaneously looked at Bob with shining eyes.

"Bob, it's time!"
