I’m Not the Mastermind

Chapter 47

Trauma.

Medically, the term "trauma" refers to an injury, with psychological trauma describing mental injuries and physical trauma referring to bodily harm.

The word originates from the Ancient Greek τραῦμα (trauma), meaning "wound," and was later adopted into Latin as Trauma, meaning "serious injury."

In modern times, however, the term is more commonly used to describe psychological injuries. It refers to a state where someone re-experiences emotions from terrifying events in the past, often leading to psychological distress.

Yujin brought up the word for a reason.

“As I mentioned earlier, unless Your Highness strengthens yourself mentally, the chances of defeating the demonic self are slim. Understanding and addressing the areas where you feel unstable can provide significant help.”

“......”

“I apologize for bringing this up, but just as you’ve looked into me, I’ve also come to learn a bit about Your Highness.”

Yujin’s tone grew cautious as he continued.

“I heard that, as a child, you witnessed the Crown Princess’s assassination right before your eyes.”

“...Yes, that’s correct.”@@novelbin@@

Alicia responded, doing her best to steady her trembling body and voice, though both continued to shake noticeably.

“There’s no need to apologize. That event is… a rather well-known story. The death of the Crown Princess in a political conflict and the young princess who witnessed it—it’s a truth many know but refrain from speaking about openly.”
