Chapter 51
Reina delivered the truth(?) about Yujin in a short, concise manner.
And upon hearing everything—
"A-A b-black mage?!"
"Shh, keep your voice down."
Eri couldn’t hold back her shock and practically screamed. Reina quickly pressed a finger to her lips, signaling for silence.
Of course, Reina had already cast a spell to block out surrounding sounds, but she still wanted to drive home the importance of discretion.
"Hnn!"
Eri instantly clamped her hands over her mouth, looking around nervously. Reina, unimpressed, grabbed her chin and redirected her gaze back to her.
"Don’t act suspicious, Eri. That might put you in even more danger."@@novelbin@@
"……"
Eri gulped and nodded silently, lowering her trembling hands. After a brief moment of hesitation, she cautiously asked,
"P-Professor Yujin… is a black mage…?"
"Yes, that’s correct."
- Her memories were manipulated with such precision that she and Hugo’s party were all affected.
- Reina had simply misjudged the situation, and Yujin hadn’t done anything suspicious in the Labyrinth.
What do you think?
