A soul-shaking roar thundered out, with hundreds of thousands of mountains being destroyed in the process. Just the mere audible vibrations of the roar would have been more than enough to erase all life on Earth!

The Megaton Shark Lord!

This monster was the final thing preventing Cassius and his crew from continuing their descent through the Abyssal Bowl. It was a massive shark-like creature with a body length triple that of Earth's diameter. Moreover, it had legs that belonged to a dinosaur and flew in the air—all while being capable of moving many times the speed of light.

Its power was overwhelming!!!

SHING!

Yet all it took was the sounding of a crisp sword slash for the Megaton Shark Lord to meet its untimely demise. It was bisected, with a long line of blood gradually forcing both sides of it away from one another.

"Hmm, still nothing too strong just yet," Cassius casually commented as he moved forward despite the shocked look he was receiving from Viola. "Well, we've only been in here for a few minutes. Surely, there will be stronger enemies beyond this point. In fact, I'm now able to make out the existence of a couple of SS++ Rank Monsters a bit further in from this point. Still nothing too impressive, but it's an improvement."

Noticing one of these Monsters prompted a certain System Notification—one related to the next part of the SSS-Rank VoidWarper Skill Set.

[Reward: Part 2 and Part 3 of the SSS-Rank VoidWarper Skill Set, as well as clues pertaining to a potential evolution path of the Skill Set]

After looking over the Quest, the way Cassius saw Viola changed for the better. More than anything else, the types of people he liked most were those who could benefit him one way or another.

Viola Voidweaver was the gal of the hour right now!

'But… how exactly should I go about showing off…?'

After a brief period of deliberation, Cassius figured the act of 'showing off' would come naturally as long as he kept descending the Abyssal Bowl—an endlessly long area with limits that still couldn't be properly ascertained.

"Time to get a move-on," he waved his hand while walking away from the graveyard of the Megaton Shark Lord.

"C-Coming!"

Although still in the process of comprehending what she just witnessed, Viola was right behind Cassius within mere moments. She kept pace with his stride until she couldn't. That was when he princess-carried her to the following Segments of the Abyssal Bowl.

5th Layer - SS++ Rank Boss Monster 'Earth Kraken' - Slain!

6th Layer - SS+++ Rank Boss Monster 'Robotic Feudal Monarch' - Slain!

7th Layer - SSS- - Rank Boss Monster 'Surreal Heavenly Serpent' - Slain!

8th Layer - SSS- Rank Boss Monster 'Terronia Spider Queen' - Slain!

9th Layer - SSS Rank Boss Monster 'Charrer Sea Dragon' - Slain!

10th Layer - SSS+ Rank Boss Monster 'Dolorok Reptilian King' - Slain!

By the 11th Layer of the Abyssal Bowl, Viola had been thoroughly impressed. So too was Yimin, but her amazement was of far less concern to Cassius.

[As soon as you conquer the World's End Gate (with Viola still alive), you'll also fulfill the 1st Objective of Side Quest Whaternotter and thus obtain the 2nd and 3rd Parts of the VoidWarper Skill Set!]

'Interesting,' Cassius internally mused, his sight shifting to the acidic wasteland that was the 12th Layer.

The further he descended into the Abyssal Bowl, the less lush and fertile everything became. The sky also increasingly darkened, with the density of evil elements in the atmosphere ever-growing.

"Yimin likes this place, Master!" A silver-haired dragon girl bounced over to her Master's side, making sure to brush all her naughty bits against him. "It reminds Yimin of the egg that she was born in! Cozy!"

"Egg…?" Faint recollections of the galaxy-like cocoon he saw in the Gate he met Yimin in flashed through Cassius's mind. "You call that thing an egg??"

Yimin giggled while nodding. "Yep, yep, was egg! Round like egg, smelt like egg, definitely egg!"

The logic was foolproof!

At least in her head, it was…

Whispering to Cassius, Viola asked, "Is something the matter with this girl…? Honestly speaking, she doesn't seem right in the head…"

"Her?" Cassius shrugged. "Nah, she's not okay. But she was born this way, so I don't think it matters much whether she's mentally sound or not."

It matters!

It definitely matters!

Sighing, Viola redirected her attention to all the mass levels of destruction surrounding them on the 11th Layer. Vats of acid and creepy acidic butterflies the size of mountains were leaking green, acidic goo all over the place. Twitches could be seen from what little remained of the Acidic Butterflies, but seeing as those were just post-mortem side effects, Cassius didn't bother himself with finishing them off.

"You're really something else…" Viola muttered while looking at Cassius as if he were some sort of freakish monster. "Were you always like this…? Always so strong?"

"Hm?" Cassius's ears perked at this question, and while further descending the Abyssal Bowl, he leaned his face next to her ear. "Can you keep a secret?" he asked—a subtle action that turned Viola beet-red.

While profusely blushing and averting her gaze, she bobbed her head.

Cassius smiled warmly. Then he moved away from her and said, "Well, so can I. My own secrets."

This response had Viola gasping for air, with her cheeks puffing out like a chipmunk's.

*Poof!*

A punch!

"You big jerk!"

Cassius laughed off the cotton punch as well as the utterly adorable face she was making.
