Chapter 793 Sense of urgency
Rain considered that if he had honed his elemental magic a lot more, he might have had the capability to manipulate those chemical components at a fundamental level, potentially allowing him to reconstruct his body.
By mastering the manipulation of elements, he believed he could alter, create, or control substances at their most basic forms, possibly giving him the ability to rebuild the essential building blocks of his body. This mastery could theoretically grant him the power to rearrange and synthesize the necessary chemical components to regenerate or reform his physical form.
"If I keep thinking like this, eventually, I will plan on becoming a lich… I should stop before I end up going too far," Rain thought. "What is the point of becoming immortal when my PP can't rise? You fulfilled the requirements to unlock the Horny path."
Naturally, the system didn't give Rain that notification, but it was fine… Rain didn't need such a path. He could unlock it once he gets rid of the dragon god. Once he does that, he certainly will find peace… or would he?
Rain found himself pondering a lot over the inexplicable surge of power the dragon god possessed. He grappled with the sheer magnitude of the dragon god's strength, unable to discern the purpose behind accumulating such immense power. It confused Rain that someone would pursue strength solely for the sake of it, especially considering the dragon god didn't seem intent on world domination either.
This perplexing situation left Rain unable to fathom the dragon god's true motives, prompting him to speculate tirelessly about the elusive goals that might drive such a being. Despite his efforts, Rain couldn't fathom what those intentions might be.
"One step at a time… one problem at a time," Rain thought.
A long time he was passed while Rain was thinking about how he could improve his skills and paths. Eventually, he began to make progress on those in different ways. Even when he recalled things about basic biology, he got experience, as long as he was meditating, that was possible… it would have been better if he had done the real thing, like writing down all the knowledge that he had.
Still, there was only so much that Rain could recall or think, so eventually, the progress came to a halt… at that point in time, he imagined that several months had passed since he had recovered his conscience, and he couldn't help but think that he still had a long time awaiting ahead of him.
"I wonder how everyone is… Danny, Annie, and Sealyn… how old are they now?" Rain thought.
Rain's luck doubled in the last battle, but Rain didn't feel like counting on it. It was better to create his own luck instead of waiting for things to conveniently fall into their places… Your next chapter is on My Virtual Library Empire
Those thoughts motivated Rain to grind hard on the meditation… at that point in time, it reached the max level, so Rain thought that he should improve it… it was another thing that he had to think about and work on to reach his goals sooner.
In the end, Rain not only tried to make the healer path reach the max level Rain also tried a bunch of experiments… he tried to see if he could summon simple things like salt to that domain in his mind, even if he couldn't feel it or taste it, the knowledge of pulling that off should be able to help him. Naturally, Rain lost the count of how many times he failed to do that.
"I guess I need to start with simpler things… I already can make Oxygen, but what about carbon?" Rain thought. "That is one of the important chemical components of the human body."
Oxygen doesn't transform directly into carbon in a chemical process. Instead, carbon atoms combine with Oxygen in various reactions to form different compounds. One common process where carbon is combined with Oxygen is combustion or burning. When organic materials, like wood or fossil fuels, burn in the presence of Oxygen, carbon dioxide is produced.
This chemical reaction involves the carbon from the organic material combining with oxygen molecules in the air to form CO2.
Additionally, in some natural processes like photosynthesis, plants absorb carbon dioxide and, through a series of complex biochemical reactions, convert it into organic compounds containing carbon, such as glucose.
After some experiments, Rain reached the conclusion that he had to use more mana to transform his mana into carbon… that was the only thing he only really learned.
It was really troublesome that Rain felt like he was wasting time thinking about that and colliding against so many blocks on his path, but there was nothing that could be done about it.
Probably years have passed since the time Rain woke up there… eventually, Rain learned the right amounts of mana he had to sacrifice to summon things, from basic to dust to things like even diamond, from things like Oxygen up to hydrogen. All that was required was the right amount of mana and the right level of concentration as fast as possible.
That kind of knowledge should help Rain in combat as well, and given that The dragon god was able to control a certain part of the atmosphere and make it look like it was night, he certainly knew that, and Rain could try to think of a way to counter it… eventually.
When it reached a point where Rain sometimes would forgot what he was doing and for what reason, he suddenly confirmed that the process was finally starting.
The skill Ancient knowledge leveled up.@@novelbin@@
The skill Energy Manipulation leveled up.
The Healer's path leveled up.
…
"Is it finally time?" Rain thought. "I guess I don't have to worry anymore…"
Rain learned in the most difficult way that a mind can't work properly without a body… since his body was for many years only a small amount of blood, he was unable to feel a bunch of things, and the most important thing of it all was a sense of urgency to reach his goals…
What do you think?
