Infinite Paths: The Raging Phoenix

Chapter 847 Nutrients

Rain's expression shifted into one of genuine surprise upon hearing that Terra had already unlocked all the paths connected to healing magic. He was momentarily taken aback by the revelation, considering the vastness and complexity of the magical paths. His initial surprise soon gave way to an understanding nod, realizing the inevitability of Terra's exceptional talent and dedication.

It struck him that Terra's relentless pursuit of healing magic made perfect sense. Her natural inclination and unwavering focus allowed her to swiftly traverse these paths. However, Rain quickly deduced that there seemed to be a cap in how the system integrated the extensive knowledge derived from Earth's medicinal practices.

It appeared as though there was a limit to how much of that Earth-based information could be assimilated within the magical system… or perhaps the system only knew so much as people had learned in those fifty thousand years.

While Terra had attained mastery in healing magic, Rain couldn't help but contemplate the constraints imposed by the system. Despite her incredible progress, it seemed there was a barrier that prevented the complete fusion of Earthly medicinal knowledge with the magical paths.

This realization hinted at a boundary within the system, beyond which it struggled to absorb or process external information.

"I am impressed," Rain said while rubbing his chin thoughtfully. "As expected of you, I have nothing left to teach you."

"Naturally, you would find a way to turn this into a joke," Terra said. "I am feeling better now, you can stop."

"No way, since you are going to bully me later, I am going to bully you to my heart's contents," Rain smirked. "I am going to die, I'd better knowing that I did everything that I wanted."

"I will be sure to tell Danny and Annie that those were your last words," Terra furrrowed her eyebrows.

"... How are they?" Rain asked. "I saw Sealyn and she was doing well. Things were a bit awkward at first, but she is very understanding."

"They are fine," Terra said.

"Were your vocabulary always this bad?" Rain asked. "Give me an elaborated answer,"

"No," Terra said.

Rain sighed… his wives had become quite hard to deal with. While he didn't dislike the changes, he could tell that he was going quite the journey ahead of him by dealing with them.

In any case, Rain decided to put his earthly desires aside to mess with Terra and think of a way to improve her condition. He could tell a bit the limitations of the healing paths and it's variants considering the state of Terra's body, he could tell what she couldn't do.

(Healer's Path Lv Max - + 03 Intelligence, + 03 Wisdom per level.)

Medic Path: Lv 95 (+ 05 Intelligence, + 05 Wisdom per level.)

High Healer's Path - Lv 45 (Intelligence and Wisdom, + 10 per level.)

"Now that I see it clearly… my healing skills were rather limited… even Full Heal should only be two or three paths away," Rain thought.

Rain understood the intricacies behind the full heal technique, comprehending its fundamental workings in repairing damaged tissue and reconstructing the interconnected elements within it. He was aware that this advanced healing magic operated on the principle of cellular repair and regeneration.

However, despite its prowess, if Terra's recovery wasn't progressing as expected, Rain attributed this to the inherent limitations within the healing technique itself. Drawing from his understanding of biology, Rain knew that cells possessed a finite number of times they could divide and replicate before reaching a point of diminishing returns, he forgot what was that called.

In the realm of biology on Earth, this limit acted as a restriction, hindering the cells' ability to divide infinitely. However, in the magical world Rain inhabited, these biological restrictions didn't hold thanks to the mana.

There were no real limitations imposed by the laws of nature in this magical domain, allowing for seemingly boundless possibilities, but if the cells were there, he had to think of something else.

In the end, Rain was unable to find a real solution to the problem… because Terra's healing skills were better than his and since that was the case, the problem was Terra herself… who spent too much time there and didn't have enough nutrients to make her body recover.

With the goal of speeding up Terra's recovery, Rain set out to create a series of potent concoctions infused with essential nutrients vital for her body's healing process.

Rain's approach involved using his expertise in alchemy and magical infusion to create a diverse set of elixirs, each targeting different aspects of Terra's nutritional needs. These elixirs were designed to provide her body with the necessary elements for cellular repair, regeneration, and overall vitality.

Things like protein, fat, carboidrates, vitamins and minerals… Rain could create all that with magic, perhaps he could use the same theory to create better healing potions.

"Ugh, what the hell is this?" Terra asked. "It tastes like crap."

"You never tasted crap, so don't compare it," Rain said. "Just endure it and you will feel your body feeling better soon."

Terra's rapid recovery and the sensation of her body feeling lighter after consuming several doses of the specialized concoctions was attributed to a heightened metabolic response and efficient absorption of the essential nutrients provided by these potions.

The potent blend of concentrated nutrients was formulated by Rain worked fast to address Terra's nutritional deficiencies, bolstering her body's ability to absorb and utilize these vital components effectively.

The speed at which Terra's digestive system processed the concoctions indicated an accelerated metabolic rate. As a result of this quick metabolic response, Terra experienced a sensation of her body feeling lighter. This feeling could be attributed to the efficient utilization of nutrients for energy production and cellular repair, leading to a boost in her overall vitality.

Within a short span of time - just one hour after consumption - Terra noticed a significant improvement, being able to stand. However, despite the swift recovery, Terra's appearance might have been affected by the intensity of the elixirs.

The concentrated nature of these potions, combined with the rapid digestion and assimilation, might have caused some discomfort or temporary side effects, resulting in her looking sick and feeling a bit unwell all thanks to the taste..
