Chapter 392: Levy!
Returning to the suburban villa, Nate arrived to find Levy sitting in the living room, writing with a quill pen.
“Where is everyone?” he asked.
“Sensei?” Levy looked up and replied, “Lucy and the others left after washing the dishes. They’re probably home playing the game by now.”
“And you’re not playing?” Nate asked. “You’ve worked hard—you should relax a bit.”
He walked over and sat down. Levy, ever attentive, quickly poured him a cup of tea.
“I’m not really into combat games,” Levy said shyly. “For me, relaxing means reading a good novel. Too bad I can’t write one myself; I’d love to create a story.”
On the Magic Net’s novel section, there were plenty of fresh and interesting stories. As an administrator of that section, Levy could read them all for free.
What’s more, she had the power to recommend novels, which directly affected authors’ earnings through Magic Net Coins. Many writers catered their stories to her preferences in hopes of securing her endorsement.
Taking a sip of tea, Nate smiled. “I can teach you. We’ll start with short stories. I’m no writer, but I can give you advice.”
“Showing my writing to others feels so embarrassing.” Levy’s cheeks turned red. “I did ask Lucy for tips once. She’s amazing at writing long novels.”
“What are you writing now?” Nate noticed the notebook in front of her and leaned in curiously.
“You can’t look!”
Levy immediately clutched the notebook to her chest, wide-eyed. “It’s just a diary, not a novel…”
“What’s wrong with me taking a peek?” Nate teased.
“No way! Not even you, Sensei!” Levy said, her tone flustered.
Just the thought of Nate reading what was inside made her want to dig a hole and hide.
Nate’s curiosity only grew stronger. Glancing toward the stairs, he called out, “Lucy, are you still here?”
Levy instinctively turned to look, and in that moment, Nate deftly snatched the diary from her arms.
“Ahh!!” Levy shrieked. “Sensei, that’s cheating!”
“Just a quick look. I won’t tell anyone,” Nate laughed as he opened the diary.
Before he could read anything, Levy lunged at him, arms flailing. “You can’t look!”
They wrestled on the couch, and Levy ultimately reclaimed her diary.
Nate sighed in regret, having only caught a glimpse of one page—which seemed to have his name on it.
By now, Nate was lying on the couch while Levy straddled him, one hand pressing against his chest and the other holding the diary behind her back.
Realizing the compromising position, Levy’s face turned crimson. She glared at Nate, flustered.
“Sensei, it’s rude to read someone’s diary without permission!”
As Levy tried to get up, Nate grabbed her wrist and pulled her into his arms.
“Ah!” she exclaimed, finding herself pressed against him, her face inches from his.
Her wide eyes brimmed with shyness. “S-Sensei…”
“I won’t look,” Nate said with a smile, “but let me hold you.”
He couldn’t help but admire how adorable she looked in her glasses. Levy’s small frame reminded him of Mavis—delicate and doll-like. Holding her felt like cradling a tiny plush toy.
Memories of their trip to the Akane Resort came flooding back; at the time, Levy had been just as candid, and Nate marveled at his own sharp memory, able to recall every detail.
“S-Sensei…what are you doing?” Levy stammered, her words nearly incoherent.
“You’re so cute,” Nate said, his lips curling into a grin. “I want to kiss you. May I?”
“Huh!?” Levy froze, her mind racing. Nate wanted to kiss her? What did that mean? Should she refuse? Or…agree?
Before she could decide, Nate gently cupped her face and pressed his lips to hers.
Her first kiss was gone.
Levy’s body trembled, her mind going blank. Nate—experienced from his time with his other girlfriends—kissed her expertly. It wasn’t long before Levy found herself lost in the warmth of the moment.
At some point, she felt a hand slip under her shirt and grasp her petite chest. A shiver ran through her, and though she wanted to protest, her resistance was more symbolic than real.
Sensing her hesitant acceptance, Nate scooped her up into his arms. Without stronger rejection, he took it as permission.
Moments later, the two found themselves upstairs in the bedroom.
…
Evening.
The bedroom was filled with an air of intimacy, with scattered clothing—both men’s and women’s—strewn across the floor.@@novelbin@@
Under the warm blanket, Levy clung tightly to Nate, hugging him as if he were a plush doll. She held him snugly, utterly content, leaving Nate unable to move.
He glanced at her peaceful face. Levy’s eyes were closed, her breathing steady, her expression calm.
“How many is this now?” Nate wondered silently, calculating for a moment.
“The tenth.”
His left arm was firmly wrapped in Levy’s embrace, leaving only his right arm free. Carefully, he slipped his right hand out from under the blanket and opened the Magic Net to check the feedback on [Dragon Hunter] in the game forums.
The forum was abuzz with heated discussions about the Coal Dragon. After Fairy Tail’s team achieved the first kill, they returned to the royal capital riding the Coal Dragon mount. Many players had taken pictures of the team from all angles, and those photos went viral.
Learning about the existence of the reins, players were brimming with enthusiasm, forming teams in droves. Some even suggested creating an in-game guild called the Dragon Hunters Guild. As of now, the guild’s registration thread on the forums had already attracted over a thousand players.
“A game guild already?” Nate thought, surprised.
Just then, a notification popped up in the bottom-right corner of the screen—a friend request. Opening it, he saw it was from an unfamiliar name.
[Message: Hello, Master of the Magic Net. I am Elefseria, the Guild Master of Magia Dragon. Could I add you as a friend? I have something to discuss with you.]
[Applicant: Hundred-Year Quest Contact Me]
“How persistent must they be to send me a request even when my settings auto-reject?” Nate muttered, amused.
He accepted the request, and almost immediately, a private message appeared:
Hundred-Year Quest Contact Me: “Hello, Nate-san.”
Hundred-Year Quest Contact Me: “I heard from your guild member Natsu that you’ve sealed the Black Dragon?”
Hundred-Year Quest Contact Me: “You’re the greatest mage I’ve ever known!”
What do you think?
