Chapter 372: Chapter 245 Snow Crystal City
Time had just passed noon.
Noah hurriedly found Chen Lun.
“Mr. Jack, Uncle Walsh just brought a letter from the Trade Association, and I would like to ask for leave to go back,” Noah said.
“Sit down first and talk,” replied Chen Lun.
Seeing Noah drenched in sweat, Chen Lun already had a guess about what was happening.
It was likely because the Silver Dragon Trade Association had been assaulted by the Red Apple Church and needed combat power for support.
Sending Walsh to convey the message to Noah was probably a cautious idea from Kaibak and the other high-level members of the association, who wanted Noah to persuade Chen Lun to lead the Circus’s officers to join the battle.
But obviously, these people did not understand Noah well enough.
He was simple in nature and did not want to trouble Chen Lun and his companions. He only wished to ask the Leader for leave so he could go back and help by himself.
‘But if only Noah himself returns to the association, those high levels must feel very disappointed,’ Chen Lun chuckled inwardly.
“Although I am not particularly concerned with the business of the Trade Association, it represents the hard work of my mother and sister… The branch on the southern border of the Empire is a location second only to the one in the Royal City, yet now it has become urgent due to the turmoil caused by the Red Apple Church,” Noah said, removing his round-framed glasses and wiping his forehead with a handkerchief.
Chen Lun raised his hand to stop Noah from continuing.
“So let me ask you, Noah, what can you do by going back there alone?” he inquired.
“I…” Noah opened his mouth, wishing to say something, but he couldn’t refute the reality that he was indeed only a Transcendent of Sequence Eight.
Even though he possessed an “A-level Mysterious Object – the Bone Gallery,” his potential impact was limited and negligible concerning the overall situation of the Trade Association.
Chen Lun shook his head.
“The Silver Dragon Trade Association had already sent a Spiritual Realm Messenger this morning with a Request for Assistance Letter,” he said.
“Hmm? Then Mr. Jack, are you implying…?” Noah asked with a hint of excitement in his tone.
“Your uncle Kaibak and the other high levels of the Silver Dragon regarded us as lackeys at their beck and call in their letter.
I felt that they did not respect the Circus, so I burned the letter with fire,” Chen Lun stated calmly.
He then briefly reiterated the original text of the letter.
Noah’s reaction was not one of disappointment; he was first stunned, then stood up with a bang.
“How could they do that?! Mr. Jack and my sister are friends, the Trade Association and the Circus should have a partnership based on equality… This is too rude!” he exclaimed.
After a few seconds of silence, he looked up again at Chen Lun.
“Mr. Jack, Uncle Kaibak has always been dissatisfied with my sister. If it hadn’t been for her return, he would have controlled the Trade Association.
And this time, I want not only to help the association solve its problems but also to show those people that, even without my sister, there’s still me!” he declared.
Chen Lun slowly stood up and walked over to Noah, patting his arm gently before saying:
“I’ll accompany you.”
“Mr. Jack?” Noah appeared very surprised.
“But Kaibak insulted you!” he protested.
“Noah, have you forgotten that you are also part of the Circus? Although they do not respect us, I am not going there to help them… I’m helping you, and Rosa too,” Chen Lun explained, shrugging his shoulders.
“Of course, if they do something to displease me when we get there, don’t blame me for being impolite.”
“Heh heh…” Noah chuckled shyly, then bent down and whispered:
“Actually, I don’t like Uncle Kaibak and those elders either… If you accompany me, I’ll feel much more at ease. If their attitude is poor, then…”
He clenched his fist.
“Please teach them a fierce lesson!”

Spirit World.
Blurred and distorted light blue scenery trailed off into the distance behind them.
Chen Lun and Noah were sitting on the back of a giant fat pig, which swiftly moved its four short legs, managing to sprint at a remarkable speed through the Spirit World.
This pig was the Silver Dragon Trade Association’s Spiritual Realm Messenger, the deceitful doll.
It had changed its skin yet again.
Although Noah knew the exact coordinates and anchor point of the association’s branch, letting the Messenger lead the way was more convenient and conserved much energy.
Chen Lun simply “lured” it to his estate and grabbed it to serve as a beast of burden.
It was not an act of vindictive retaliation.
Rather, he paid the Messenger two Silver Ducats for its service.
Yet, the Messenger looked unhappy with a pig’s frown on its face.
How discourteous.
On the Messenger’s back, Chen Lun chatted casually with Noah, gaining some insights into the internal affairs of the Silver Dragon Trade Association.
The headquarters of the Silver Dragon Trade Association was actually in Snow Crystal City, not in the Tresor Empire.
Although there were branches throughout different regions of the Empire, the most important ones were only two: the branch in the Royal City and the one on the southern border.
The Royal City is where the Sun Royal Family resides and is also the city where the Empire’s highest echelon resides, its significance is obvious.
The southern border, on the other hand, marks the junction between Snow Crystal City and the Empire. Backed by headquarters and facing the Empire, it is a crucial strategic location.
Part of the Silver Dragon’s high-level leaders also stay at the branch dealing with daily affairs.
What do you think?
