Chapter 734: Chapter 734: Danger Approaches

“Such a strong commotion, could it be… Quick, that Chen fellow is likely just up ahead.”

Meanwhile, the masters of Heavenly Dragon City had also gathered, their aim to seize the Spirit Pill in White Mitchell’s possession.

Therefore, they naturally wouldn’t let White Mitchell leave.

However, what they did not know was that at this moment, White Mitchell had already completed his breakthrough, and was just short of fully controlling the power acquired from the breakthrough.

With the people from Heavenly Dragon City closing in, White Mitchell saw this as a perfect opportunity to practice his skills.

Soon, the people from Heavenly Dragon City spotted White Mitchell’s presence within this dense forest.

...

But they did not rashly act immediately.

After all, while the surroundings seemed calm, many fierce beasts had been attracted by the disturbance caused by White Mitchell.

You must know, the treasures within the Secret Realm aren’t only useful to humans.

Many fierce beasts, in their pursuit of breaking through their limits, would also seek such treasures.

They certainly wouldn’t miss out on something like a Spirit Pill — a heavenly and earthly treasure that can be directly consumed.

So, the people of Heavenly Dragon City didn’t dare to take action immediately, but chose to observe the surroundings first before deciding on their next step.

As expected, several fierce beasts appeared around White Mitchell.

However, they were oblivious to the fact that White Mitchell had also noticed their presence.

White Mitchell stood in the dense forest, coldly watching the gathering of fierce beasts and masters from Heavenly Dragon City. Sensing the pressure they exuded, he couldn’t help but reveal a cold sneer at the corner of his mouth.

He suddenly sprang forward, his figure flashing like lightning, charging directly towards the closest group of fierce beasts. The sword in his hand instantly slashed out, its brilliance piercing through the air. The beasts shrieked in terror as they were cleanly slain by White Mitchell.

Upon seeing this, the masters of Heavenly Dragon City were shocked; they hadn’t expected White Mitchell’s strength to be so formidable, it was almost inconceivable. They rushed towards him, intending to surround and attack him, but were effortlessly neutralized by him.

White Mitchell’s swordsmanship was incomparably exquisite; each move was filled with great power and sharp killing intent. His figure continuously flickered in the dense forest, leaving a trail of falling beasts and masters from the Heavenly Dragon City in his wake. Every move he made was deadly, without any room for mercy.

With the ongoing battle, a formidable aura radiated from White Mitchell, as if he had transformed into a War God. His eyes held a cold and ruthless gaze, with no distractions, only focus on the combat at hand.

The beasts roared loudly, as if challenging White Mitchell. However, they couldn’t withstand White Mitchell’s swordsmanship, falling one by one to his blade.

The masters of Heavenly Dragon City were also feeling an unprecedented pressure and gradually regarded White Mitchell as a thorn in their side. They joined forces, launching one wave of attack after another, but were easily defeated by White Mitchell.

Time passed and the battles within the dense forest grew more and more fierce. The aura around White Mitchell kept growing stronger. He had broken through his limits and released the full strength acquired from the breakthrough.

“This guy is too terrifying!”

“Unbelievable, his strength has surpassed ours.”

The masters of the Heavenly Dragon City were increasingly shocked, realizing the vast difference in strength between them and White Mitchell. Fear crept into their hearts, as they worried about their ability to fend off White Mitchell’s attack.

White Mitchell didn’t give them a breather. His swordsmanship became even sharper, every attack filled with destructive power. The beasts fell one after another, while the masters from the Heavenly Dragon City continuously sustained injuries.

“This won’t do!” exclaimed a master from Heavenly Dragon City, “We need to work together if we want any chance of victory!”

They linked up tightly, forming a defensive circle, attempting to withstand White Mitchell’s attacks. Seeing this, White Mitchell let out a cold chuckle. His swordsmanship became increasingly fierce. His sword radiated with brilliance, penetrating their defense. With one man and one sword, he effortlessly broke their defensive line.

The masters from Heavenly Dragon City gazed at White Mitchell in terror, the fear in their hearts reaching a crescendo. They understood that they were no match for White Mitchell and their only option was to flee.

White Mitchell looked at them coldly, not pursuing, his gaze then shifting towards the depths of the dense forest.

He knew that there were more formidable opponents waiting for him. He hoped to fully grasp his powers post-breakthrough during this battle.

He leaped up high, like a soaring hawk, flying towards the depths of the forest.

After the battle, the masters of Heavenly Dragon City lay dismally on the ground, in disbelief of their previous status as the city’s elites. The beasts were also injured in the battle, some killed by White Mitchell, and some escaped.

After successfully dealing with the masters of Heavenly Dragon City and the surrounding beasts, White Mitchell didn’t show an ounce of hesitation.

He immediately began finding the marks left by the God of Heaven War and the Earth War God.

Because he clearly understood that, with the numerous masters in Heavenly Dragon City, if he had pursuers, the God of Heaven War and the Earth War God would be in the same situation.

So, he couldn’t waste any time.

He needed to find both of them as quickly as possible.

Soon, White Mitchell was the first to find the mark left by the Earth War God.

Without a moment’s hesitation, White Mitchell, accompanied by Lucy, set off to find the figure of the Earth War God.

At this moment, Lucy, looking at White Mitchell, was filled with wariness and admiration in her eyes.

She suddenly felt that she, the self-proclaimed genius, could not provide any help to White Mitchell at all.

After about ten minutes had passed, White Mitchell finally discovered the whereabouts of the Earth War God.

The Earth War God was hiding in the dark, while the masters of Heavenly Dragon City were moving in to encircle him.

Seeing this, White Mitchell took action without a second word, sword in hand, lunging at the masters of Heavenly Dragon City in an attempt to rescue the Earth War God.

The sword light instantly traced across the sky. White Mitchell’s maneuvers were agile, darting amongst foes like a bolt of lightning. His swordQi was fierce and swift, each strike accurately hitting the enemy’s weakness.

The masters of Heavenly Dragon City were frightened by White Mitchell’s fierce offensive, none of them daring to slacken even slightly. They all resorted to their unique moves in an attempt to compete with White Mitchell.

White Mitchell’s True Qi surged from his body like a torrent, merging himself entirely into his swordsmanship, thus increasing his attack speed and power. Each of his slashes produced a forceful momentum like a raging river, making it extremely difficult for anyone to dodge. Countless opponents were pulverized by his sword Qi, and blood splattered.

The fear in the hearts of Heavenly Dragon City’s masters was evident, but they weren’t deterred. Instead, it triggered a deeper animosity towards White Mitchell. They all used their unique skills in a bid to contend with White Mitchell.

A tall master built up Spirit Energy and thrust his palms forward, the air instantly compressing to create a powerful airstream. This gust of air, like a violent tornado, roared towards White Mitchell. White Mitchell sneered, his sword momentum unabated and instead increased, the sword Qi formed thousands of strands, crisscrossing, colliding with the airstream, causing a colossal explosion. But White Mitchell remained unscathed, as steady as a rock.

Another master with nimble movements chose an incredibly rapid attack style. He was like a deft cheetah, his form flashing, appearing behind White Mitchell, and the concealed weapon in his hand was shot out mercilessly. White Mitchell caught sight of the danger behind him from the corner of his eye. He spun around hastily, his longsword meeting the concealed weapon. Then, a dense series of metallic clanging sounded, the sword clashing with the concealed weapon sent off sparks, causing countless embers to scatter.

A majestic general then lunged out. The Phoenix Double Blades in his hands danced like the wind, his blade art was as resplendent as a blooming flame, emitting beautiful blade light in mid-air. He was ready to launch a lethal attack on White Mitchell in a split second. However, White Mitchell remained unfazed, he deftly dodged the general’s attack and countered in the gaps, blocking the general. The two got entangled, their swords and blades clashing, and sword Qi and blade light bursting simultaneously.

In this intense battle, White Mitchell exhibited a combat power beyond imagination. At times he was agile like a monkey, and at other times formidable as a dragon. His swordsmanship was exceedingly fierce and balanced between offense and defense. The masters of Heavenly Dragon City felt helpless. They watched as their unique skills were easily dissolved by White Mitchell, a sense of dejection sprouting in their hearts.

However, they did not give up, but instead became more resolute. They launched vigorous attacks against White Mitchell, employing various combat methods, hoping to find a way to penetrate his swordsmanship. Collectively, they hemmed in White Mitchell at the center, surrounding him with concentrated attacks. White Mitchell felt the increase in pressure, but he still calmly countered each attack.

His movements were agile, like a fluttering butterfly, navigating freely among the onslaught launched by the experts. The speed of his swordsmanship was like a lightning strike, leaving behind remnants of sword light in the air. The experts’ attacks were easily deflected, their attacks pushed back by Mitchell’s overwhelming sword momentum like a strong tide.

The experts saw their attacks being completely neutralized by White Mitchell, their hearts secretly astonished. Their fear deepened with White Mitchell’s performance, but their killing intent also surged. At that moment, the experts of Heavenly Dragon City resolved not to underestimate their opponent any longer. Shedding their previous disagreements and conflicts, they united to confront White Mitchell.

One of the experts suddenly leapt into the air, turning into a flash of light, striking at White Mitchell like a shooting star. His fist was as fierce as a storm. White Mitchell smiled slightly, his sword light flashed with a cold gleam, quickly countering the expert’s attack. The clash exploded the air instantly, stirring gusts of wind. However, Mitchell’s sword momentum remained as steady as a mountain. Crisscrossing through the air, his sword light rapidly cornered the expert.

Another expert felt that it was the right time to strike. He suddenly launched himself into the air, his longsword transformed into a ray of white light, targeting White Mitchell’s throat. White Mitchell’s gaze hardened, his figure instantaneously dodged. His sword burst out like a Divine Dragon, easily shattering the expert’s offence. In the eyes of the crowd, White Mitchell stood like an indomitable god, his swordsmanship exceeded their imagination.

The experts of Heavenly Dragon City realised that they were no match for White Mitchell, but they would not retreat easily. The fear in their hearts was replaced with unwavering conviction, believing that as long as they stood united, neutralised Mitchell’s attack, they would be able to defeat him. Their heightened tensions eased a little, resuming their battle against White Mitchell.

In the subsequent battle, the experts of Heavenly Dragon City exhibited unmatched potential. They adjusted their breathing, precisely calculating the angle and force of each attack. Each of them used their unique martial arts, with rapid speed and accurate strikes, launching their attacks towards White Mitchell.

White Mitchell sensed the changes in the experts, hence his sword technique became even fiercer. His gaze was as icy as a frost. Every move, every stance, was fortified by his will and determination. His sword momentum was unpredictable, charging with a fear-invoking power. The experts were constantly oppressed by Mitchell’s sword momentum, yet they still bravely confronted him.

As the battle reached its peak, White Mitchell gradually calmed down. He was no longer flustered by the experts’ encirclement, he became one with his sword, the embodiment of the sword. His sword momentum was like a rainbow piercing the sun, swiftly weaving through the experts.

The experts of Heavenly Dragon City, their hearts trembled.

They couldn’t comprehend, why in such a short span of time, White Mitchell’s strength had grown so much?

You should know, clearly before this, White Mitchell was relentlessly hunted by them, he had nowhere to hide. But now, in just a few hours, White Mitchell could actually beat them without any effort?

This guy, could he be a monster?

That’s too terrifying!

“Boss, what should we do now? Should we notify Moore, and have him send additional reinforcements?” an expert from Heavenly Dragon City asked in fear.

“Boss, what should we do now? Should we notify Moore, and have him send additional reinforcements?” an expert from Heavenly Dragon City asked in fear.

“No rush, no rush.” The leader of Heavenly Dragon City soothed in a low voice, ” Although White Mitchell is powerful, we can’t just sit back and do nothing. We still have a chance.”

“Chance?” The crowd was puzzled.

“Yes.” The leader slowly nodded, ” There must be a reason why White Mitchell’s strength has increased so rapidly in such a short time. This state of his can’t possibly last long. We will wear him down, the credit will be ours.”

“But we can’t even stall him now!” Someone close by couldn’t help expressing their bitter anguish.

“Shut up! If you can’t stall him, then stake your life on it! We must kill this guy!” The leader of Heavenly Dragon City roared.

Everyone immediately fell silent, filled with dread and unease. Although they harbored malicious intentions, White Mitchell’s formidable strength made them reconsider.

“All of us will attack White Mitchell together!” The leader of Heavenly Dragon City suddenly raised his voice, “What can he do alone?”

The crowd stirred at his words, no longer hesitant, they gathered up and surrounded White Mitchell.

From a distance, White Mitchell was watching the approaching crowd with disdain in his eyes. Even though he recognized his power at its peak right now, he was unperturbed by the approaching mob.

With a faint smile, he made no effort to avoid the crowd and rushed forward like a gust of wind, sword in hand. The brilliance of the sword crumbled instantly, and the fragments shot out, stabbing towards the crowd surrounding him.

Crack!

A clear sound rang out, and the crowd’s attack was easily neutralized by White Mitchell, without causing him the slightest damage.

“What?!” The crowd stared in disbelief.

White Mitchell didn’t linger but like a bolt of lightning, he maneuvered through the crowd, his sword gleaming, his robes fluttering, unstoppable.

In an instant, several people fell to the ground, deprived of any chance to fight back. They were terror-stricken to find that they could not resist White Mitchell’s attack, as if they were facing an invincible king.

“How is this possible!” The leader of Heavenly Dragon City gritted his teeth, his eyes filled with anger and helplessness.

They couldn’t comprehend how White Mitchell was so powerful, effortlessly defeating them, and toying with them like a puppet master.

White Mitchell slowly ceased his attacks, indifferently scanning the beaten crowd on the ground, a trace of disdain in his eyes. He was indifferent to their malice and hatred, considering them mere distractions along his martial path.

“You once provoked my bottom line, now, you will pay for your actions.” White Mitchell’s voice echoed, cold and decisive.

The leader of Heavenly Dragon City suddenly realized the power of White Mitchell and couldn’t help but panic. Although he had originally thought to overwhelm White Mitchell with their combined strength, he never anticipated that their attacks couldn’t hurt White Mitchell at all.

White Mitchell walked over to the leader, his eyes hinting at a chilling ruthlessness: “Your presumptuous challenges, now is the time for you to understand what a true power means.”

The leader stepped back, his face pale. They finally realized they were fighting an invincible king, and their challenge was merely a suicide mission. Seeing this, they regretted their arrogance and impulsivity.

White Mitchell’s figure suddenly disappeared from the spot, then materialized in front of the leader. His sword was pointed at the leader’s throat, the icy blade piercing the skin, blood trickling down the blade.

“Please, spare us!” The leader begged in a shaky voice.

White Mitchell narrowed his eyes, his smile increasingly cold: “Since you all believed you could challenge me, then experience the taste of defeat.”

The leader collapsed to the ground, blood from his wounds gushing continuously, his lifeforce quickly fading.

Seeing the leader’s fate, the others stared in fear and despair. They understood that any challenge against White Mitchell would only end in defeat.

White Mitchell ignored them, turned around and left, leaving behind a ravaged battlefield.

Shortly after, White Mitchell quickly arrived at the hiding spot of the Earth War God.

Despite the drawn-out fight, the Earth War God hadn’t shown himself, not because he didn’t want to, but because he fainted the moment he saw White Mitchell.

Without uttering another word, White Mitchell hoisted the Earth War God over his shoulder and retraced his steps, heading towards the mark left by the God of Heaven War.
