In Totto Land, the clear skies turned ominously dark as thunderclouds swirled above.
A massive serpentine figure streaked through the air amidst flashes of lightning, heading straight for Cake Island.
Katakuri stood on high alert, his Observation Haki sensing an overwhelming presence rapidly closing in.
His expression was grim.
"This... it's Kaido of the Beasts. What's he doing here?"
His words sent shockwaves through the gathered siblings.
The very mention of Kaido's name caused their faces to pale.
Kaido wasn't just one of the Four Emperors-his reputation as the strongest creature on land, sea, and air preceded him.
He was infamous not only for his raw power but for his madness. Tales of his unrelenting resilience and countless torturous captures by the Marines were enough to shake even the bravest.
"Is he here to fight Mama?" Charlotte Cracker asked, his voice trembling as he gripped his sword tightly.
A sudden bolt of lightning illuminated the sky, revealing the massive, serpentine form of Kaido's dragon body hovering above Cake Island.
With a deafening roar, Kaido unleashed a wave of Conqueror's Haki, sweeping over the island like a hurricane.
Countless Big Mom Pirates collapsed under the pressure, while buildings shook and debris flew.
Katakuri, summoning his own Conqueror's Haki to counter, struggled to hold his ground. Sweat dripped down his face as the sheer weight of Kaido's presence bore down on him. The difference in power between an emperor and an emperor's deputy was painfully evident. Just as Katakuri's resistance was about to crumble, another surge of Conqueror's Haki erupted from the depths of the island, meeting Kaido's head-on.
The sky seemed to split, and the dark clouds rolled back to reveal sunlight breaking through.
"Kaido, you lunatic! How dare you storm into my territory and act so brazenly? Do you want to start a war?"
The towering figure of Charlotte Linlin emerged, riding on her thundercloud Zeus.
Her presence was as overwhelming as her voice, and the sight of her made Katakuri sigh in relief.
Retracting his Haki, he staggered, his body drenched in sweat.
"Get out of here!" he shouted to his siblings.
"If these two fight, the entire island might be destroyed!"
Linlin and Kaido, two of the most fearsome beings in the world, locked eyes.
Their auras clashed, sending shockwaves rippling across the island.@@novelbin@@
"Linlin!"
"Kaido!"
The two shouted simultaneously before charging at each other.
Linlin swung Napoleon, her massive sword imbued with her soul power, while Kaido extended his claws.
Their clash sent a shockwave across Cake Island, shattering windows and toppling weaker structures.
Then, as suddenly as it began, they stopped.
It was almost customary for the Four Emperors to exchange a single blow upon meeting.
While Katakuri and the other generals watched nervously from a distance, Linlin stepped off Zeus and floated to the ground, her towering form casting a shadow over Kaido, who reverted to his human form.
"Kaido," Linlin said with a displeased look "it's been three or four years since we last saw each other. What brings you here? Surely you don't miss me enough to pay me a visit."
Kaido grimaced.
"Miss you? Don't flatter yourself, Linlin. I'm here to propose an alliance."
Linlin raised an eyebrow, her expression shifting between amusement and suspicion.
"An alliance? You already teamed up with that mysterious Uchiha Madara, didn't you? Why would you need me?"
At the mention of Madara's name, Kaido's face darkened.
He clenched his fists, and a dangerous glint appeared in his eyes.
"Madara is the problem," Kaido growled.
"That bastard has become too much of a threat. I came here to deal with him."
Linlin's curiosity was piqued, but she waved her hand, dismissing the remaining children
from the area.
Once they were alone, she folded her arms and demanded an explanation.
"Explain!"
Kaido relayed his grievances.
Uchiha Madara's interference had crippled his operations in Wano.
The once-prosperous flow of seastone and weapons that fueled Kaido's empire had been
reduced to a trickle, with most of the resources now under Madara's control.
Even his once-loyal suppliers, like Doflamingo, had turned their backs on him.
Kaido's hatred for Madara ran deep.
Their two confrontations had left him battered and humiliated.
The scars on his body were a constant reminder of his failure.
"Linlin," Kaido said, his tone heavy with desperation.
"If you and I join forces, we can crush Madara. I'll give you 30% of Wano's profits as compensation."
Linlin's eyes gleamed at the mention of Wano's riches, but she wasn't easily swayed.
"Kaido," she said, her voice dripping with scorn, "why should I risk my forces and fight someone like Madara for a mere 30%? You'll have to do better than that."
Kaido cursed inwardly, knowing Linlin's greed all too well.
But he had come prepared. A sly grin spread across his face as he played his trump card.
"Don't you want an heir with Madara's strength and bloodline? Imagine what kind of monster
you could create."
Linlin's heart skipped a beat.
Kaido's words struck a nerve.
As a former member of the Rocks Pirates, Kaido knew Linlin's deepest desire: to produce offsprings with unparalleled strength.
The thought of Madara's power, combined with her own lineage, was enough to make her
pulse quicken.
It might even be better than her desired target, the giants.
Her breathing grew heavy as she imagined the possibilities.
"Madara's child..." she muttered to herself, her obsession taking hold.
Kaido smirked, knowing he had her attention.
For now, he had planted the seed of his plan in Linlin's mind.
Whether or not she would act on it remained to be seen.
Far away, in Wano, Madara's eyes narrowed.
His [Observation Haki] had caught the faintest ripple of Kaido's intentions. A dark smile
spread across his face.
"So, you're scheming again, Kaido? Let's see what you can do."
