Legendary Shelter Survival Guide

After ignoring the fact that Bill was not present while the summoning had taken place. Lucas and the others went to do their work.

Things were very normal and peaceful for days on end where Lucas went out to fight creatures till he was tired which took him more than 10 hours of gruesome hunting.

This made him level up. Lucas didn't want to admit it but he had not much to do in the shelter, the one thing he was good at was fighting so he took it in his hands and went on a killing spree to make the land around the shelter much safer than before.

No one in the shelter was doing anything for the upgrades of the shelter so Lucas did that work too until he could find something important enough for him to pass the time with.

His potions-making theories to make more and more potions had become relatively stagnant, everything had to fucking come out of his brain from scratch. Lucas could do this much on his own just because he was lucky but finding more recipes was tough.

It was like wanting to break through in science again and again, one day after another, nonstop, but that was just a bonker thought. He needed something to help him, something like a book of recipes or something.

But what he didn't have, he didn't have.

So his routine of going out and killing random stuff never came to a halt when finally, a week had passed. Lucas was now getting bored of killing creatures that were just a level or two.

Sometimes he even felt that they were just spawned by how they fought, they had no experience at all other than their natural instincts.

Lucas one shotted creatures one after another for a week until he got an important call.

-"I found the human."-@@novelbin@@

"Finally, what is he like? Wait, is it a he or she?"

-"I can't believe it but he is level 8, just like you."-

"I am level 9 now."

-"Damn, well, he has some interesting skills, he is right now fighting with some kobolds, two exactly."-

"There are Kobolds in the territory?"

-"No, he is outside the territory."-

"Wait, what?"

Lucas looked in the list again and went to the last instantly, he had sorted the list according to arrival to not miss anything.

"But Bill… there is still a human inside the territory, you sure you are outside the territory?"

-"I will make my exact location on the map, see for yourself."-

Lucas did check as he was skeptical about this information. And Bill was right, he was not even at the borders but many kilometers far from it.

'The possibility of the human fighting the Kobolds inside the territory and Bill mistakenly thinking that he is out is gone now…'

-"He is not very good at fighting and his skill is very peculiar too."-

"What are they?"

-"Unhand combat, punch, climb, finger knife, and lastly, farmer."-

"Farmer?!" Lucas almost jumped in ecstasy, he couldn't believe it at all. A farmer?

"Bring him with you no matter what it takes! Give him all your nails too if he wants, I don't care, just bring him."

-"Don't you want to see if he is dangerous or not? He could have entered the territory if he wanted to till now."-

"Bill, I will bash you in the head for real. Don't cook things in your head, talk to him and if he's dangerous, just run, don't kill him."

Lucas didn't cut the call and waited to see if Bill would do it from his side. Yet he didn't, Lucas heard Bill's breathing which seemed to be due to him engaging in a fight himself until his first words came out.

-"Hello there…"-

'That was the most awkward hello I have ever heard.' Lucas thought.

He could only hear the voice of Bill as he was one on the call, nobody or anything other than his voice could be heard through the call.

Lucas didn't know even after thinking and contemplating about it and in the end, he was sure it was just to mess with them. He knew there was some meaning behind it yet to ignore it completely, he had to take extra measures.

-"You kept those Kobolds alert while fighting you. That's pretty cool."-

After a small stop, Lucas considered as Bill listening to the guy's voice on the other side.

Bill was looking at a guy who was taking his dear time trying to kill some low-level Kobolds.

The guy was using his hands which were covered in some sort of a glow to fend off the Kobolds.

Bill was very confused as to what skill it was, the guy had all the skills he knew about and none of them had such effect other than that farmer one.

He never saw it hit the Kobolds even one time, they seemed to, again and again, dodge the punches with seriousness, not the aloof nature they had while thinking that the prey's weak and could be dealt with easily.

'Is it the farmer's skill? Can't be anything else… But why do they seem alert?' Bill thought and after looking at the guy getting exhausted while trying to fend them off, he called John.

Bill fell in his shadows and now it was all darkness around him, it seemed scary but to Bill, it was relief. He moved his hands in such a way as if he had dived and was now underwater.

In seconds, he came across an opening that he was eying all this time and without even waiting or anything, he swam out of it.

The momentum that he had stacked inside the shadow realm came with him and he swiped his daggers right at the Kobold's neck cutting it cleanly.

Then came the next one who was not prepared at all and seeing its brethren beheaded without any expectation before had made a huge impact on it.

Bill got rid of it quickly and then took a breather of air taking in the sweet smell of the air before it got rotten with the stench of the Kobold's blood.
