Rowan was greeted with these notifications immediately after Blaze entered the Superior realm.

The names of the two new skills were added, unfortunately Rowan didn't have the time to study the description of the skill as his hands were full at this moment.

Blaze spoke to Rowan telepathically, and Rowan immediately understood what his pet was trying to do so he obeyed and moved back.

Now standing beside Blaze, Rowan could feel the new power of the Superior Realm radiating from its body. This power was several times stronger than the peak of the advanced realm!

While he observed his pet, the monsters who had been attacking him earlier—consisting of a small number of red-eyed chimpanzees and other E-rank monsters—charged furiously at Blaze with strong killing intents radiating from their red eyes.

Blaze stood unmoving and observed the monsters charge closer towards him, his eyes also glowing with a stronger yet controlled killing intent.

Blaze opened his mouth and released a deafening howl that blasted across the battlefield. A wave of scorching flames surged forward in a wide arc. The cone of fire hit the charging monsters with incredible force.

The red-eyed chimpanzees and E-rank monsters were caught in the inferno. Their furious roars turned into cries of pain as the burning flames swept over them. The heat was overwhelming, searing their fur and skin instantly.

In a matter of seconds, the groups blazed by the flames were on the ground; more than half lost their lives immediately and the others were badly wounded beyond saving, they slowly died to the immense burning pain!

Numerous notifications flashed before Rowan, who was beyond amazed after witnessing the power of the new skill Blaze had just awoken — it was a new trump card!

"That was amazing Blaze!" Rowan congratulated him right away.

He was not expecting the skill to be so powerful and to take down so many monsters in such a short time.

If this skill had been present in the battle before now, they would've gone a long way in clearing the horde.

Even Black Drifter, still battling with the new set of monsters charging out of the woods, was surprised by the skill of his colleague — he was impressed; his view of Blaze turned from bratty to that of a worthy opponent.

[ The new skill is great but it consumes one-fifth of my mana reserve to activate and the same amount to keep it going for a long time. And I won't be able to activate it again until after twenty minutes. ] Blaze complained.

"Well, all powerful skills are meant to have certain restrictions, but I'm sure the restriction would come off the more you grow stronger just like your other skills," Rowan responded.

He already expected as much from such a game-changing skill.

Fortunately, the matter only fueled Blaze's passion to grow stronger.

"Lets assist your new brother," Rowan patted Blaze and said.

Blaze leapt into the air and blasted forward, Rowan equipped two new swords as the former ones had grown weaker from the tiring battle earlier and sprinted closely behind his pet.

The new set of monsters pouring out were of a race Rowan had not seen before and they were all E-rank, not a single F or FF-rank monster was in sight.

This made Rowan appreciate his wit for deciding to take his soldier away from this battlefield. If they were present, they would definitely be devoured by these monsters.

INFERNO RAMPAGE!

Blaze surged forward with a mighty, low growl, his body engulfed in a roaring inferno. The fire around him danced violently as he charged through the horde. A blazing trail followed his every step, scorching the ground beneath him.

The approaching monsters had little time to react. As Blaze slammed into them, a massive wave of flames burst out, consuming everything in its path. The intense heat melted through thick hides and turned the air to shimmering heat waves. Screams of agony filled the battlefield as the E-rank monsters were instantly reduced to ash.

Rowan was impressed — the new skills Blaze had awakened were absolute game changers!

WIND STRIKE

Black Drifter also slaughtered the monsters with its impressive skills while also serving as a watch for the stronger monsters approaching.

With Blaze and Black Drifter contributing a great deal, Rowan was able to continuously reduce the population of the hordes as the stronger ones arrived.

About one hour passed and more than two thousand monsters had met their end at the hands of these there.

Rowan had gained more evolution points from this battle than he could ever imagine. He estimated at least half a million evolution points earned so far.

At this moment, the amount of E-rank monsters pouring out at a time had reduced drastically, indicating the hordes were getting to their final and stronger members.

[ The strong ones would be arriving in a few minutes. ]

Black Drifter reported to Rowan.

Rowan nodded his head as he was already prepared to engage with the stronger monsters Black Drifter warned him about more than two hours ago.

Rowan instructed his two pets to refill their mana as soon as they could before the strong ones arrived.

Black Drifter flew down right away and dug out the monster cores from some of the E-rank monsters he had slain himself.

Blaze also grabbed two E-rank monster cores and consumed them, while doing so, he made a circle of scorching flame around himself to prevent monsters from attacking while he rejuvenated his mana.

While the magical beast refilled their mana reserve, Rowan took care of the last dozens of monsters.

At the moment, the loud and horrifying thumping footsteps of the strongest member of the hordes reverberated across the bloodied battlefield, announcing their appearance.

Rowan changed his sword once again and braced himself for battle.

Blaze and Black Drifter had already finished rejuvenating — Black Drifter flew back to the sky and Blaze stood beside Rowan.

They were prepared — sadly, the same couldn't be said for the people of Winterseed Village who awoke, unaware of the disaster brewing within the village.
