Lord of the Time: I Can Reincarnate Infinitely

Chapter 464 464: 500,000 Pounds

An hour after the exotic meal, a Ufotan approached the Earth Team. "Time for pre-conditioning, or G-force training," he announced, his tone formal but friendly. "You'll need it for the takeoff."

Leo, still full from the meal, groaned. "G-force, like in those fighter jet movies?"

"Yeah, sorta," the Ufotan explained. "G-force, or gravitational force, is what you feel when the spaceship accelerates. It can make you feel heavier, press you into your seat, and strain your body. For most folks, it's a bit of a rough ride."

Mia, curious, asked, "And this training?"

"It's designed to get your bodies used to the stress," the Ufotan continued. "But given you're all genetic warriors, adaptation should be quicker for you. The stronger you are, the faster you'll adjust. An hour should do it."

Caleb, who had been listening quietly, raised an eyebrow. "Just an hour for us, huh? Sounds like a breeze."

The Ufotan smiled slightly. "Actually, I watched your sparring earlier. If I may say, Adam, you probably don't even need this training. Your physical conditioning and genetic enhancements should make you almost immune to high G-forces."

Caleb smirked. "So, I get to skip class, then?"

"Not exactly," the Ufotan replied, amused. "It's still recommended to go through the process, to acclimate. But yes, you'll likely find it less challenging than your teammates."

As the team headed to the G-force training area, a mix of anticipation and curiosity filled the air. The facility was equipped with advanced simulators that could replicate the intense gravitational forces experienced during spaceship takeoff.

While the others strapped in, Caleb watched, his confidence evident. "Remember, it's all in the mind," he called out to his team. "Don't let the pressure get to you. Breathe through it."

The Ufotan, observing Caleb's calm demeanor, nodded in respect. "Your strength is not just physical, it seems. Very well, let's see how you all handle the G-force challenge."

The Earth Team, geared up for the G-force training, each settled into their individual simulators. The machines hummed to life, the screens around them displaying the increasing gravitational forces they were about to experience.

Leo, bracing himself, felt the pressure mounting, his body feeling like it weighed tons. "Damn, it's like being squashed by a giant," he grunted, fighting to keep his breathing steady.

Mia, her eyes focused, used her sharpshooter's concentration to remain calm, even as her limbs felt like they were being pulled in different directions. "It's all about control," she whispered to herself, resisting the urge to panic.

Ethan, with his heightened senses, felt every shift and increase in pressure acutely. His face contorted in concentration, he tried to anticipate each change, using his instincts to adapt.

Sarah, silent as ever, faced the simulator's challenge with a stoic resolve, her body tense but resilient, her breathing measured and deliberate.

Alex, however, struggled more than the others. His reliance on aerial agility didn't prepare him for the crushing force, his face paling as the simulation intensified. "Shit, it's like being hit by a truck," he gasped, his vision starting to blur.

As Alex's distress signals flashed, a Ufotan staff member rushed over, administering first aid to stabilize him. As he recovered, the Ufotan couldn't help but comment, "The quality of Earth's representatives is questionable if they nearly faint under simulated conditions."

Caleb, who had been monitoring his team, overheard the remark. His eyes narrowed, a cold intensity emanating from him. Without a word, he locked gazes with the Ufotan.

The Ufotan, meeting Caleb's glare, suddenly paled, his confident demeanor faltering. Within seconds, he slumped to the ground, unconscious, overwhelmed by the sheer force of Caleb's will and presence.

The room fell silent, the remaining Ufotan staff and Earth Team members staring in disbelief. Caleb, his point made, turned back to Alex, checking on him. "Focus on your breathing, Alex. Don't let this space shit beat you."

...

After the pre-conditioning wrapped up, the Earth Team members were all panting, but they had adjusted well to the simulated forces. Even Alex, who had a rough start, managed to pull through, looking a bit worn but steady on his feet.

Caleb, after ensuring his team was alright, excused himself and headed to the gym. He was curious about the spaceship's facilities and keen to test his own limits.

Upon entering the gym, Caleb was impressed. The weight machines were sleek and high-tech, with settings that could be adjusted up to an astonishing 500,000 pounds, whatever that meant in Earth terms. "Holy shit, now we're talking," he murmured, eyeing the equipment. Your journey continues at My Virtual Library Empire

He started with the chest press machine, setting the weight to challenge his formidable strength. His muscles flexed and strained under the weight, pushing and pulling with controlled, powerful movements, working his pectoral muscles intensely.

Next, Caleb moved to the lat pulldown machine for his back. He adjusted the weight to near its maximum, pulling the bar down in smooth, steady motions, his back muscles contracting with each pull, highlighting the sculpted muscles under his skin.

For triceps, he found a cable machine, setting up for tricep pushdowns. His arms worked in a steady rhythm, the triceps bulging with each downward push, showcasing his upper body strength.

Leg day wasn't ignored, as Caleb headed to the leg press machine. He loaded it with a weight that would make most people balk, pressing up with his legs, his thighs and calves powering through the exercise, veins standing out against his skin with the effort.

Shoulders were next, and he used the shoulder press machine, pushing weights overhead in a display of raw power and stability, his deltoids flexing with the effort.

Finally, for biceps, Caleb used the curl machine, his arms curling the heavy weight towards him, the biceps curling and relaxing in a rhythm, each movement precise and powerful.

As Caleb was finishing his intense workout, a group of Ufotan officers entered the gym, their eyes widening in disbelief as they saw him effortlessly bench pressing, squatting, and deadlifting the machine's maximum weight of 500,000 pounds. Even more astonishing, he was doing lateral raises with the same weight, a feat of strength that seemed beyond human."Is that... 500,000 pounds?" one of the Ufotans whispered, incredulous. Converting the weight in their heads, they realized Caleb was lifting approximately 227,000 kilograms – akin to lifting a large commercial airplane or a massive locomotive engine.@@novelbin@@
