Caleb, recognizing the edge his rapid regeneration gave him, decided to switch tactics, opting for a more reckless, injury-for-injury fighting style. He launched himself at Vortix with renewed vigor, aiming to wear down the Ufotan legend through sheer endurance.
"Let's see who breaks first, old man," Caleb taunted, landing a heavy blow only to receive a crushing punch in return. Each exchange left him with injuries that healed almost as quickly as they were inflicted, showcasing the terrifying efficacy of his regenerative abilities.
Vortix, however, was no novice. He quickly deduced Caleb's strategy, his advanced combat AI allowing him to predict Caleb's seemingly erratic attacks. "You're durable, Earthling, I'll give you that," Vortix acknowledged, parrying a particularly vicious strike. "Your body withstands hits that would obliterate others, even those at the peak of the Transcendent Realm. Impressive."
Caleb, his body enduring impacts that would level buildings, couldn't help but feel a grudging respect for Vortix. The Supreme Commander's ability to anticipate and counter his every move was unlike anything he'd encountered before. "Damn, you're not just some rusty old relic," Caleb grunted, wiping blood from his mouth. "Got any more tricks up your sleeve?"
With each clash, Vortix's praise of Caleb's durability was paired with a calculated assault that tested the limits of Caleb's regenerative powers. "Your resilience is commendable," Vortix said as he landed a series of rapid strikes, each predicted and executed with precision. "But even the mightiest fortress can fall with the right strategy."
Caleb, pushed to his limits, realized the gap in their combat experience and strategic thinking. While he could rely on his regeneration to keep him in the fight.
Caleb, feeling the heat of the battle and recognizing the need to escalate his approach, grinned through the sweat and grime. "Alright, I'm warmed up now," he declared, his voice tinged with a newfound resolve that left Vortix momentarily speechless.
With a focused intensity, Caleb began to transform. His body convulsed and expanded as two additional pairs of arms burst from his sides, muscles bulging and skin stretching to accommodate the new limbs. His eyes multiplied too, with two more pairs of yellow eyes emerging on his forehead, giving him a fearsome, otherworldly appearance.
The transformation process was both grotesque and mesmerizing. Caleb's bones audibly shifted and reconfigured, his skin shimmered with a strange energy, and his aura intensified, darkening the air around him. The newly formed arms were thick with muscle, each one as strong as his original pair, while his six eyes glowed with an ominous light, providing him with enhanced perception and depth of field.
Now in his four-armed form, every physical attribute of Caleb was enhanced. His strength, speed, and durability reached new heights, far beyond his initial capabilities. When Vortix, recovering from his initial shock, launched another of his previously effective attacks, aiming to sever Caleb's limb as before, the strike only managed to leave a superficial scratch on Caleb's now vastly tougher skin.
"Is that all? That tickles," Caleb taunted, his voice a guttural rumble, as he flexed his new limbs, each one ready to unleash havoc. His entire being radiated power, his physique now a perfect blend of demonic strength and hellish resilience.
'He became stronger. Even 45% of my strength isn't enough for him anymore.... Just who is this kid? For the Earth to actually have such a genius born from their planet is a jackpot!' Vortix, facing this transformed opponent, reassessed his strategy. The previous attacks that would have inflicted serious damage now barely made an impact. 'Should I go all out? But I'm a Saint Realm. It would be bad if I accidentally injure him, or worse, kill him...'
How could he not find it a pity? An extraordinary real that can go toe to toe with transcendent realm was heaven defying that couldn't be replicated. Even if he was on his heyday, Vortix wasn't confident he could do the same.
As the epic showdown between Caleb and Vortix unfolded, the audience, comprised of Ufotans and Earthlings, watched in awe and disbelief. Whispers and exclamations filled the air.
"Did you see that transformation?" an Earth official gasped, his eyes wide. "Adam's not just strong; he's a monster in combat!"@@novelbin@@
An Ufotan spectator, her eyes fixed on the battle, remarked, "It's unheard of! An Extraordinary Realm being holding his ground against a Transcendent? This Earthling is defying our expectations."
The discussion turned more intense as a knowledgeable Ufotan elder interjected, "You misunderstand. Supreme Commander Vortix's strength exceeds the Transcendent Realm. He is a Saint! He's holding back, gauging the Earthling's true potential."
This revelation sent a murmur through the crowd. "Holding back? So, Vortix is even stronger than we thought?" another Ufotan whispered, his voice a mix of pride and astonishment.
As the fight progressed, it became apparent that Caleb's ability to spar with Vortix, despite the supposed gap in their power levels, was a feat that commanded respect. The Ufotans, initially dismissive of the Earth representatives, began to view Caleb in a new light.
"Remarkable! To think we have someone who can face the Supreme Commander and not be obliterated instantly," an Ufotan military analyst commented, adjusting her data pad to record every detail of the fight.
The Earth Team, while concerned for Caleb, couldn't help but feel a surge of pride. "Adam's doing the impossible out there," Leo said, clenching his fists, his earlier frustration replaced by admiration. "He's not just fighting; he's earning us respect among the Ufotans."
As the battle continued, the Earthlings, filled with a mix of fear and admiration, huddled together, questioning a group of Ufotans nearby. "Is Vortix really not at full power?" one Earth official asked anxiously. "And what happens if he stops holding back? Can Adam, actually stand a chance?"
One Ufotan, clad in a sleek, data-laden suit, nodded solemnly. "Yes, Supreme Commander Vortix is indeed holding back. He is of the Saint Realm, two realms above the Extraordinary and one above the Transcendent. His full might is something few can withstand."
The Earthlings exchanged worried glances. The revelation of Vortix's true strength painted a daunting picture of what Caleb was up against.
What do you think?
