The sun was high up, and its bright rays bathed the filled and painted the world in its beautiful radiance, but the temperature was cooling as if it was nighttime.

The scene in front of them was nothing short of breathtaking, it was so beautiful that it looked like a scene cut out from a painting. Birds flew around in the air, and around the few trees; their chirping sounds were like sweet melodies to the ears. Colourful butterflies dominated the lush bushes and flowers, it was a relaxing sight.

Zhu Ming was stunned by the scene outside the courtyard, the wind carried the scent of flowers and some flower petals and blew against Zhu Ming's face, causing her hair to flutter behind her, and some petals remained on her hair.

Zhu Ming didn't react to this and continued to stare at the sight before her with a dazed look. Leon glanced at her and couldn't help but chuckle softly before asking.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?"

His words snapped Zhu Ming back to reality and she blushed slightly while nodding her head.

"Mm, it is." She responded.

Leon raised his other hand and picked the petals off her hair properly tucking the scattered strands behind her ears.

"Do you know what's more beautiful?" He asked.

Zhu Ming looked at him with curiosity, unable to think of what could be more beautiful than the scene in front of her.

Leon smiled cunningly for a few seconds before gesturing for her to move her head closer and he whispered into her ear.

Leon moved back his head and locked eyes with Zhu Ming after successfully revealing the secret of heaven and earth to her.

Zhu Ming froze and maintained eye contact with Leon for a few seconds as she slowly processed what she had just heard. Her eyes flashed with realization shortly after and she could feel her face heating up as her cheeks turned so red that they would put tomatoes to shame.

"T-thank you," she was so embarrassed that all she was able to say was an awkward thank you.

Leon didn't mind this, he didn't even expect her to thank him; her current expression was enough for him.

'She looks so cute when she's embarrassed,' Leon thought to himself as he made plans on how to make Zhu Ming embarrassed in the real world.

"Come," Leon suddenly grabbed Zhu Ming's hand and pulled her forward. They strolled around the field, admiring the beauty of the place.

Leon made the butterflies fly around them, a three-coloured bird landed on Leon's palm and dropped a heart-shaped petal, which he stuck into the side of Zhu Ming's hair, and flocks of beautiful birds sang around them.

They would occasionally lock eyes at times and convey their feelings for each other through their eyes.

After minutes of walking around the field, Leon pulled Zhu Ming to the end of the field.

Getting there, Zhu Ming discovered that it was actually the end of a cliff and below them was a beautiful waterfall that flowed into clouds.

They must be at the top of a very high mountain!

Looking into the distance, Zhu Ming could see nothing but white clouds that were of different shapes and sizes. The sunlight pierced them and created a spectacular image that was worthy of having a poem created to show gratitude.

"It's beautiful," Zhu Ming muttered absentmindedly, she no longer had the bearing of a powerful martial artist and looked like a mortal woman.

"Still not as beautiful as you," Leon voiced out from beside her.

Zhu Ming turned to look at him, the latter also looked at her. Zhu Ming was blushing slightly while Leon had a gentle smile on his face.

After seconds of looking at each other, Zhu Ming suddenly moved and hugged him. She wrapped her arms around Leon's body and pressed her face on his shoulder.

"Thank you. Thank you so much, Leon." Zhu Ming said with a shaky voice, her shoulders trembling.

Leon was a bit stunned by her sudden action but quickly hugged her back, he rubbed her back and hair with his palms.

"I'm here, I'm not leaving," Leon said with an assuring tone.

While she never mentioned it, Zhu Ming had actually been scared of the customs of her family from childhood.

Leon, who was hugging her, was stunned by her sudden question.

Unable to think of anything to say instantly, Leon stayed silent for a whole minute. Zhu Ming thought that she had annoyed him with her question and was about to apologize as the silence was becoming unbearable but Leon finally spoke up before she could voice her apology.

"I have no other plans. You're here, the kids are here, I'll just stay here forever; let's watch them grow together." Leon spoke up, a look of admiration on his face as he commended himself for his quick thinking. Zhu Ming must be touched by his response.

Contrary to his thoughts, Zhu Ming wasn't done yet.

"What about your master, elder sister, and that fox? Are you going to abandon them?" She asked.

Leon "..."

'Damn, you're still thinking of others even in your dreams? Is this jealousy or consideration?' Leon choked internally before calmly saying.

"The courtyard is big enough, won't it be better for everyone to stay together as one big happy family?" Leon proposed.

He saw Zhu Ming fall into silence for a few seconds before saying.

"Mm, that's not bad."

Leon let out a secret sigh of relief. Luckily, Zhu Ming wasn't the stingy type.

"Kiss me," Zhu Ming suddenly said.

"Huh? What was that?" Leon asked in surprise, he felt that his ears were playing tricks on him.

Leon was stunned by her sudden boldness but only for a brief moment.
