LUCKY REINCARNATION: REINCARNATED WITH A HAREM SYSTEM

Chapter 187 Sparring

Leon got up and tidied up his robe before walking out of the tent. Bai Quing and the others were already waiting for him outside.

The disciples usually watched him spar With the sect mistress or fox princess and would always gather around them to watch.

Lin Shuran, all the other elders, as well as every disciple, had formed a ring with their bodies, making it look like a fighting ring. The ring was only fifty meters wide, which was enough for simple movements and attacks; they were only sparring anyway, so there was no need for powerful attacks.

"It's Senior brother!"

"Senior brother is here. Is he going to fight the sect mistress again or the pretty fox woman?"

"I think it's the sect mistress, he fought the fox woman last time."

"Who do you think will win? Will Senior Brother be able to defeat the sect mistress this time?"

"Don't talk nonsense, the sect mistress is a level 6 expert. How do you expect Senior Brother to win!"

"Indeed, Senior Brother is only at level 5 at the moment. It's already shocking that he can last long against the sect mistress, of course, she might be pulling back since it's just a spar; who knows what would happen if they fought at full strength."

"I don't care whatever any of you say, Senior brother is the strongest in my heart; he's invincible!"

"Hey, hey! Don't try to make us look bad in front of Senior Brother; we didn't mean he was weak."

"Yes, Senior brother isn't weak. He's the only disciple who can fight against level 6 opponents, he's the strongest disciple of the Falcon sect!"

The disciples chatted heatedly amongst themselves as they made way for Leon to walk through to the centre of the fighting ring. A casual smile hung on his lips, which made the hearts of the disciples skip beats; their Senior brother was just too charming.

Leon could obviously hear what they were saying but didn't react to it. During all his sparring sessions with his Senior sister and Fengxu, the fight always ended in his loss.

Of course, he wasn't losing intentionally, but defeating them would require him to give it his all, which would be too much since they were just sparring and not fighting to kill.

After all, they were just a single level above him. While it would be difficult for ordinary level 5 martial artists to face level 6 opponents, Leon was different. He was confident that he could kill a level 6 expert if the situation required it.

While Leon made his way to the center of the fighting ring, Quin Xuxu sat in a chair on the side in front of the disciples and looked at Leon's face.

She could also hear what the disciples were talking about and couldn't help but think that had it not been for the sudden war between dynasties, which had caused the martial competition to be conducted, Leon would definitely have made a name for himself in the competition.

She was confident that he would have been able to dominate in every fight that he would participate in, and not even the disciples of first-rated sects and holy lands would have been his match.

"He would have been the pride of the Falcon sect, and the sect would have successfully been upgraded to a first-rate sect; alas, this war just had to happen." Quin Xuxu sighed to herself. Her judgement wasn't based on favouritism because, unlike the others, she knew that Leon wasn't going all out when he fought against Fengxu and Bai Quing; she was sure that those two had figured that out as well.

If Leon really went all out, the space of fifty meters where they fought would not be enough to contain the aftereffects of his attacks and the surrounding disciples and even elders would get hurt.

He was the child of Dao for a reason!

Reaching the centre of the ring, Leon saw Bai Quing standing there with her hands on her waist. She was staring at him with a meaningful look in her eyes while the surrounding disciples and elders looked at them in anticipation.

From afar, you could see some soldiers and disciples from other sects trying to watch as well.

Leon cupped his hands and lowered his head to Bai Quing while saying.

"I'm under your care, Elder sister."

As the second disciple of the grand elder of the Falcon sect, only Leon was allowed to address Bai Quing with her two titles; whatever he used was up to him.

Of course, that was only when they were in public. If it was just the two of them, Leon would already be molesting Bai Quing and it would be her who would be lowering her head over his cock; but those were thoughts for later.

Leon waved his hand gracefully, and his handsome white sword appeared in his hand; he did a few swings before taking a stance.

It was the Three Worlds Slash technique stance!

Leon could not help but remember when he just started to learn this technique, he was a complete rookie back then and didn't even have the strength of a weakling martial artist.

But in just a year, he was now a tier 2 expert and had mastered the Three Worlds Slash martial technique.

'Time sure flies, I'm just a few levels away from unlocking the third page of the Three Worlds folding martial manual.' Leon thought to himself. The last page of the Three Worlds folding martial art manual was a movement technique which was different from the footwork that he learned when practising the Three Worlds Slash and the Three Worlds folding punch/palm strike.

He had great expectations of the last page of the manual.

He was not the only one who was waiting in anticipation, though; the disciples and elders had gone quiet as they stared at Leon and his Senior sister in the middle of the ring with focused expressions.

The fights between Leon and his training partners were always so dazzling that it would be a shame to miss even a single action from the two just because they were not paying attention.

"Come, show me how much you've improved since our last fight." Bai Quing said with a calm look in her eyes, she had to maintain the image of the sect mistress even though she was aware that the young man in front of her was a monster.

Swoosh!

Leon didn't hesitate any longer and dashed forward. The ground exploded under his momentum, and he sent grains of yellow sand into the air as he flashed toward Bai Quing.

He crossed the twenty-meter gap between them in a few seconds and appeared in front of Bai Quing like a ghost; he then proceeded to slash out his sword.

Leon didn't fuse any energy with his attack, so the sword waves that flew out were only ordinary sword waves. Still, it was the attack from a level 5 expert and could not be overlooked.

Bai Quing's eyes narrowed slightly, and a small smile crept up the corner of her lips; her hands moved like a blur and created countless afterimages in the air; it suddenly looked like she had grown an additional hundred pairs of hands as she blocked Leon's sword wave.@@novelbin@@

Bam! Bam! Bam!

Three loud sounds rang out as Bai Quing successfully blocked the sword wave.

Leon smirked; he didn't expect to get her with that attack anyway. Unlike others, most people of the Falcon sect were already familiar with his strange technique of merging their sword waves into one and Bai Quing was one of them; it was only natural that she blocked all three.

Immediately after blocking the sword waves, Bai Quing went in for a counter. Her right fingers balled into a fist and she sent a lower left hook to Leon's face.

Leon hurriedly brought his sword to block, and a loud sound that felt like metals clashing echoed; he had successfully blocked the punch, but he could feel that his right hand had gone numb.

Bai Quing pulled back and delivered an elbow slam with her other hand, Leon brought his sword to block again.

Bang!

The sound was deafening like two elephants had slammed into each other.

Leon felt a strong impact spread through his shoulder and he almost lost his grip on his sword.

Bai Quing was about to attack with her legs again, but Leon wasn't going to let her.

He immediately stabbed his sword down, forcing Bai Quing to change her kick into a side sweep. Leon took the chance to leap away.

He landed about 11 meters away from Bai Quing, a calm look on his face. He was really fine; excluding the numbness he was feeling in his shoulder and arm, he was really fine.

'Such strength, a constant reminder that it's impossible to beat opponents at a higher level while holding back.' Leon mused in his thoughts.

Fighting against opponents with higher levels without using his energies was just like fighting with one hand behind his back, the one level difference in strength, spewed, and endurance wasn't something he could ignore.

"Again!" Leon voiced out before dashing forward, Bai Quing took a stance and waited for him while the spectators watched with wrapped attention.

Boom!
