Lust System: Sword Genius in Women's World

Chapter 120 A game

"Are you thinking of how to beat him, you really want to fight him"

"Yeah, I do; apart from the fact that his Mana doesn't run out and he was given a weapon by the god, I don't see a difference between him and any other person here," Xavier answered.

"He's the strongest among all of us; I don't think I can take him down not to talk of you. I don't mean to offend you, but you can't beat me in a fight; I know you're fast, but I would win every time" Sylve answered.

"Are you sure? Well, then, maybe we'll get to find out; oh, the Harpy is waking up," Xavier said as he saw her moving her head.

"I'm going to go check on her" Sylve spoke as she walked towards the Harpy.

"I couldn't help but overhear your conversation, and I really didn't think you guys would have the time to mess around, but why not, you're the champion of the goddess of lust, the mere sight of you is enough to get women on their knees"

Xavier knew who was talking, but he couldn't see the god; he was talking in his ears.

"You couldn't help, well what do you think?" Xavier asked.

"I'm sure you guys are going to pass the next three floors cause I don't really have much going on there, but there's a big surprise on floor number 6, can you guess what it is?"

"I have no idea, and I'm sure you're not going to tell me either" Xavier replied.

"Yeah I'm not, but if you do somehow survive till floor 6, then you'll see the surprise, bye now"

Xavier closed his eyes and took a deep breath, 'What could the surprise possibly be' Xavier thought but stopped.

Instead of focusing on floor 6, he first needed to pass the next floor, which would be harder than this one.

As Xavier looked forward, the Harpy was on her feet, but it seemed her wings were a little burnt and didn't heal; she then tried to fly.

She could fly but had little problems with it, but still, she could fly, and Dragonborn, who was training on the other side, began walking towards them.

Xavier also stood up and walked towards them as the rest of the group began standing up; it seemed they were ready for the next floor.

The group didn't bother talking to each other and just walked forward to the next floor; a step had already formed at the end, so they all walked towards it.

There was a kind of tension among them as they moved upstate where the god of death was waiting for them.

"Congratulations on passing the first two floors, it seems you guys are really powerful since no one is dead yet"

"I'm getting bored, so I want to play a little game with you. Are you guys interested?" He asked.

"What game is that?" Dragonborn asked.

"You'll get the chance to skip all the way to the sixth floor if you're interested, and it's nothing hard, you just have to face this third floor on your own"

"You'll face this third floor on your own and skip floors 4 and 5?"

"Exactly, of course you can choose to work together and face all floors till you get to floor six, but if you do pass the floor on your own, you'll be moving closer to the goal"

"I'll take it" Dragonborn spoke without hesitation.

"One, who else"

"I'll go too" Tiger replied.

"We can't go together, the two of us," one of the demons asked.

"No, you must face the floor on your own; your ability to pass the floor on your own would tell me you're strong enough to pass floors 4 and 5; that's the essence," The god spoke.

Xavier knew this was surely a trap; imagine facing all five knights on floor two all by yourself; sure, Dragonborn had the strength and magic to pass it, but he wasn't going to get himself killed.

Again, if everyone chooses to go alone, then he'll have no choice but to go alone, but he knew the Harpy wasn't going to choose to go alone, and if he is left with the Harpy, then he would also go alone.

"Well then, I'll go," one of the demons spoke, and the other one followed; now the two demons, tiger and Dragonborn, were going alone.

"What do you think?" Sylve asked Xavier.

"I have no idea what I'll be facing so I don't think going alone is a good choice, but it also depends since even if you don't go alone you'll be facing floors 4 and 5"

"That's right, what if some of us don't make it to the next floor? That's a big disadvantage, and all of us that stayed behind might get killed on any of the floors," Sylve replied.

"I'll also go alone, what's life without an adventure" The pirate spoke.

"Me too" Mana spoke, the nonhuman with a robe covering his body.

'Shit, that leaves four of us, the Harpy isn't at full strength, and I haven't really seen the dwarf fighting so I don't know how strong he is, if one of us gets killed on floor 4, then we might not make it to floor 6'

"That leaves four of you; the offer is still open," the god spoke, staring directly at Xavier. Find adventures at My Virtual Library Empire

Xavier's eyes widened as an idea came to his head. The idea was reckless, but it was something that could get him to floor 6; all he needed to do was let himself go.

He could collect his cursed sword back from the god, and that would be enough to get him through, and since he would be alone, he would kill anyone, but it was still too reckless.

"Alright, then off you go." The god snapped his finger, and everyone was gone except for Xavier, Sylve, the Harpy, and the dwarf.

"Well then, good luck" He spoke as he vanished.@@novelbin@@
