"What did you say just now?" She spoke immediately turning towards me.

"Are you talking to me?" I asked acting like I didn't know what she was talking about.

"You said something just now" she spoke.

"Oh, I said I wish I could have some pazza brought to me by carriage; it's a meal our house chef makes; she makes it with potatoes, though I have no idea where she got the inspiration from," I spoke.

"Oh, I thought I heard something else; sorry for bothering you," she spoke.

"I'm Cynthia, and I can see you staring at my boobs," she spoke, and I quickly averted my eyes with a smile on my face.

She was really the girl the goddess told me about, the champion of the god of war; she was sent on the same mission as I was, meaning if she succeeded in completing it, after living my life here, I'd be reborn as a normal baby.

But I wasn't going to let that happen. Who doesn't want to live different lives? That's just a step away from living forever, and since I get to die and start over again, it's more like living different lives.

Since she was reincarnated as the champion I wonder what skill she got, since the champion was able to get any skill as long as it's within the reach of the goddess of war.

After a while of washing, I exited the bath and headed towards my room. All the girls were still training, and I've got to say they were diligent.

Even though this is just the first year, the academy tends to drop students who they think aren't going to do well or are far behind others, so the girls must be used to training like this before now.

Not that I wasn't used to training, but this was just the first day.

I opened the door and stepped into my room and was surprised to see it wasn't empty and the princess was in.

A smile formed on her face as she saw me step in, and I could tell she was waiting for me; why the hell would the princess be waiting for me?

She sat at the top, which was her bed, "Hey, Xavier," she spoke as I sat down.

"Princess, why aren't you training?" I asked.

"I'm done for the day, I'm the best mage among the first-year students in the academy, and I've been training my sword skills for a while now"

"That's quite impressive; I'm sure you can teach me a skill or two. I've tried learning different techniques, but it's just too hard," I spoke.

"Oh, I have a book of the Sword God techniques; it's quite detailed," the princess spoke, and it immediately caught my attention.

"You do, please can I have it, please" I spoke and acted like I was super excited about it.

"Of course, but you'll have to repay me with something else" the princess muttered.

And there is it. Of course, I would love to learn the Sword God techniques, but I was going to learn it in the academy anyway. It'll be next year before techniques are taught, but I'd like to see where this is going.

"Repay, of course, what do you have in mind?" I asked.

"I just want you to repay me somehow. I haven't really thought about what I want; I already have everything I could think of," the princess spoke.

Of course, she already knew what she wanted, but she wanted me to be in her debt first before she asked.

"Take your time to decide, Princess," I said, leaning back with a smirk. "But don't keep me waiting too long. I'm dying to learn those techniques."

She smiled, but I could see a hint of calculation behind her eyes. The princess was no fool.

I knew she'd demand something from me that would probably serve her more than me in the long run. But if it came to that, I'd make sure I came out on top.

After a moment of silence, she shifted slightly on her bed, crossing her legs as if contemplating something.

Her gaze didn't leave mine, though, and I could feel the tension rising. I wasn't sure if she was plotting or simply trying to read me, but I wouldn't give her the satisfaction of knowing what I was really thinking.

I sat there waiting till she finally stepped down from her bed and walked towards me, "I have something in mind, are you interested in any girl in the academy?" She asked.

I have no idea where this is going but I'll play along to see her end game.

"There are lots of beautiful girls in the academy, I'm sure you must be interested in one of them?"

"I am, but what does that have to do with..."

"Perfect, you know the academy has a rule about sex, if you're caught, you'll be expelled, but I can make it so you don't get caught and you'll be able to have sex with the girl in this very room"

"You'll clear the room?" I asked.

"Yes, and the twins would keep watch while you and the girl enjoy to your heart's content but..."
