Kiernan moaned in a pain, and felt like the water inside his body was boiling.

A few teardrops fell from the corners of his eyes, but they quickly evaporated after getting in touch with his skin.

It was the worst kind of feeling he had ever felt during his life—pre-reincarnation and after.

"Hiyaaaah!"

Zachary punched forward, and his fist's four fingers smashed into Kiernan's chest, crushing his ribcage.

CRACK!

"Cough!"

Kiernan coughed out blood, his eyes turning red in pain, and he stumbled back a step.

"Eh?"

Zachary's eyes widened in surprise.

He honestly didn't expect the punch to actually land, as Kiernan had been swiftly dealing with almost every punch of his without any trouble.

It was also a very simple straight punch.

The crowd quieted down in surprise and looked confused as to how Kiernan wasn't able to dodge that punch, as he had been doing that so far.

"Oh my! Kiernan got punched and coughed blood as a result. That must've hurt!"

"How did Kiernan fail to dodge that? A mistake on his part? Did he happen to daydream?"

Confused, Karuza High members looked at each other with puzzled expressions. It wasn't like Kiernan to daydream, especially so far into the match.

"Sabbath, what's going on?"

Coach Jin asked with a frown.

"I don't know, but…"

Sabbath frowned and saw that Kiernan was in immense pain. It seemingly started even before getting punched.

'That bastard did something to young Kiernan again, but what…'

Nevaeh screamed.

Bella frowned, then grabbed the mouse and zoomed into the match footage, closely examining every detail in Kiernan's expression.

"Something is going on."

Bella said, then made an 'O' with her fingers and put it over her left eye.

"You're using your ability?! Don't!"

Nevaeh screamed and tried to stop her little sister, but it was too late.

"Mystery Eye!"

Her left eye started glowing, and a six-pointed star mark replaced her round pupil. A sharp, piercing light flew out of her eye, through the 'O'-shaped fingers, and into the screen.

At that moment, she was able to see something no one else could.

"My son is under the influence of martial ability! I see that his body temperature has risen to 45 degrees! He is dying!"

Bella shrieked in terror as images, only known by her, flashed by her eye, and then her left eye stopped glowing.

"So there is Martial King in that stadium who is attacking Kiernan!"

Nevaeh screamed, and slowly, her shock turned into pure anger.

Martial King attacking those of the Human Realm was very much frowned upon, especially attacking someone who hadn't even reached the Age of Growth.

"Who is that bastard attacking him?! I must use Mystery Eye one more time to find out!"

Bella shouted in anger.

"Don't!"

Nevaeh wrapped her arms around her little sister, stopping her from moving her arms.

"You haven't experienced the first side effect yet. If you use it twice in a row, your life might be in danger!"

"Shit!"

Bella grimaced and, at that moment, turned her head around.

Atop her bed, a glowing portal, only the size of a wedding ring, appeared, accompanied by a high-pitched whirring sound.

At that moment, a white-nailed finger extended out from the small portal, trying to reach out to Bella, but since the portal was too tiny, the being on the other side was unable to fully emerge.

Bella's eyes started bleeding, but she didn't look away and dared the being to say something.

However, the figure didn't say anything, and the finger returned back to the portal. Then, the small ring-sized portal disappeared, and the room returned to its usual state.

"You're peering into things that you shouldn't!"

Nevaeh said.

"That being is just trying to scare me. This realm is off-limits from Him."

Bella said, then sat back down on the chair and turned to the laptop.

'Hahahahaha!'

Alabaster laughed inwardly as he looked at Kiernan struggling to stay conscious.

'It must feel horrible, right? I've used this against Martial Kings, and even they've begged for me to stop!

'If you forfeit, I shall give you mercy and let you live!'

At that moment, Zachary punched at Kiernan's shoulder, shattering its bone, and with it, sent him flying.

Kiernan's eyes shook in pain, and he barely managed to keep himself inside the fighting stage.

He couldn't speak or even think without feeling the unbearable pain pulsating through his body.

"I see now! I thought it was strange that you were able to keep fighting despite getting punched by me in the face, but I guess this is your limit!"

Zachary said with a laugh and drove his fist into Kiernan's stomach with an uppercut punch, which sent him flying up into the air.

Blood spurted out of Kiernan's mouth, and as he landed back on the ground, Zachary kicked him in the ribs, causing Kiernan to cry out in pain.

"No, stop this!"

Julia screamed.

Hearing Kiernan scream made them realize how serious the situation was. They never thought they would hear him in such agony.

"Throw in the towel, coach! Fuck this, we can win next year!"

Jonathan screamed.

"Damn!"

Coach Jin grabbed a white towel from the bench, held it up in the air, and then threw it towards the ring.

"A towel has been thrown! The match is over, and the winners are Montclair Hig—"

At that moment, Kiernan caught the towel from the air, used it to wipe off the sweat, and then tossed it back towards the bench.

"Eh? I-It looks like Kiernan doesn't want to forfeit!"

"W-well, the towel was thrown, so… did they already forfeit?"

"No! The towel must land on the ground of the ring to count. Since it never did, the match is still going on!"

A confirmation appeared on the referee's earpiece, and he told everyone that the match was still going on.

'Fine. Die then.'

Alabaster said and crossed his arms in front of his chest.

"You should've forfeited. You will only get hurt more and more~"

Zachary said with a laugh and lunged at Kiernan, his fist flying forward like a battering ram.

With the wind whistling, Kiernan moved underneath Zachary's extended arm and slammed his hips against Zachary's side, then used Zachary's momentum against him to flip him over his shoulder and onto the ground with a resounding thud.
