00212. Summer vacation and cars.

Once the fight finished with Hela's victory over Sanhildr, they were both checked over and treated for injuries. Afterwards Hela, Sanhildr and other high ranking members of the valkyries got together and drank the whole night and talked. Ezekiel didn't interfere or join them, so he didn't know exactly what happened. But the next day when he visited Hela she was all smiles and thanked him again for giving the valkyries a second chance at life.

The only issue with the whole thing was Madara somehow heard about it and demanded to spar against Hela. Ezekiel knew it would turn into a headache if he just left it as it was so he told Hela about the issue. He also explained about Madara and his battle junkie mentality. After which Hela agreed to fight him on the condition that it would only be once and anything was allowed.

Madara instantly agreed and the next day they met on Mars at the same place with the magical array. Tao and Agatha showed up along with Sanhildr, a couple of the valkyries and Tsunade who was the medical help. Ezekiel and the others watched from the platform Ezekiel created last time as Hela met Madara near the middle of the array and talked for a few moments.

No one heard what was said, but Madara nodded to whatever it was before he rushed towards Hela and attacked. At first it was just a hand to hand combat exchange with Madara having the upper hand. That carried on for almost ten minutes until Hela conjured a sword and sliced Madara in half. It wasn't Madara though as a puff of smoke erupted and a rock appeared a moment later.

Madara attacked Hela from below as a hand shot out of the ground to grab her ankle. Hela reacted at the same time as conjured necroswords appeared and slammed into the ground beneath her. Another puff of smoke and Madara was behind her attacking with a kunai that he attempted to stab into her ribs.

Hela spun and blocked the attack as more swords appeared behind her that shot towards Madara who easily dodged them as he backed away and shot small fire balls at Hela. When he moved so everyone could see his face Ezekiel asked, “When they hell did he awaken his eyes?”

Madara with his three tomoe sharingan now on display dodged every attack Hela sent his way as he used different fire attacks in return. He even used genjutsu against her but it didn't seem to work as she never even paused in her attacks. Over the next half an hour both of them used bigger and bigger attacks against each other until Hela finally used magic.

A green shield appeared around her body which easily blocked all of Madara's attacks. Hela took that time to cast a couple of different spells to try and lock down Madara but he would use different techniques to escape each time. What finally stopped the match was Madara running out of chakra as he collapsed on the ground.

With the match over, everyone headed over to both of them where they were checked over quickly by Tsunade. Once Madara recovered a little bit and stood up, Ezekiel asked, “When did you unlock your sharingan?”

“Over a month ago, it was easy.”

Ezekiel frowned as he asked, “Why the hell have you been keeping it a secret?”

“Because a normal sharingan doesn't matter. Even my brother and a couple of other people already unlocked it after I did.” Madara said with a shrug.

“You just didn't say anything because you wanted to use it in a spar with Hashirama, right?”

Madara didn't say anything but Ezekiel took his silence as a yes. Ezekiel turned to Hela who was perfectly fine before he asked, “Why didn't you go all out from the start?”

“I figured he would ask for another fight if I just overwhelmed him from the start.”

“You only won because I ran out of chakra and I'm not at my peak power anymore.” Madara said in an arrogant tone.

Hela raised an eyebrow as she said, “And you think I went all out?”

Hela stretched her arm out towards Madara and a moment later he was locked in place and couldn't move at all. Ezekiel could see a hint of shock in his eyes before Hela released him and said, “It takes a good bit of effort to do, but I can lock anyone in place with their soul. Sure it doesn't last too long, but it only takes a moment to strike a killing blow.”

The group ended up splitting up shortly afterwards to go do different things. With Ezekiel going to eat dinner with Hela, Sanhildr and the valkyries. After dinner Ezekiel went to train some before he went to sleep for the night. 

Early the next morning Theo woke up and double checked his suitcase. It was summer vacation and his extended family planned another vacation. His father even shut the whole shop down for three weeks again and gave all the new employees paid time off. He could have easily let them work while they were gone, but his rule was if he was on vacation, everyone was on vacation.

While the new employees were integrating well at the shop, none of them were considered ‘family’ like Jon and Sara, so they weren't invited on the trip. As for the trip itself, they planned to visit historic places along the East Coast along with some museums, smaller amusement parks and random stops along the way. As for transportation they rented two large RV's that fit everyone comfortably.

The first stop of the trip was Niagara Falls since it was only six hours away or so. They reached the place in the afternoon and ate a late lunch at a restaurant before they toured the area and waited for the fireworks and light show that would happen after dark. After enjoying the show, they packed up and headed towards their next destination.

Over the next couple of weeks Theo and his family traveled almost nonstop as they visited every place his parents and family picked out. Apparently they made a large list beforehand and planned out the entire trip as efficiently as possible. Theo enjoyed the time spent with his family on the trip but it made it a little hard to slip away unnoticed on the RV.

He was able to portal out from the bathroom a few times while he left behind a clone to cover for him. But getting back normal had to wait till they stopped so he could signal his clone to switch places. He didn't switch out much because he wanted to spend most of the vacation with his family, but he still needed to check in with Hulk, Hela and a few other people.

As for the trip itself, their last stop was on the way back to NYC. They stopped in Washington DC for a couple of days and visited all of the major sights like the Smithsonian museums, some of the memorials, and important monuments. Once they finished there, they drove back to NYC and rested for a couple of days before they went back to work.

Since it was still summer vacation, Theo and the other kids were still out of school. So Jacob, Ben and Richard brought Theo and Peter to the shop to help out. But more than just help, they showed the boys the two car frames that were stored in one corner of the shop.

Jacob smiled at Theo as he said, “I know you probably don't remember this, but when you were younger I picked up this car for you.”

Ben and Richard were also showing Peter the car they got for him as Theo said, “I remember you showing me this… And I remember mom being upset about it.”

Jacob waved it off with a smirk as he asked, “That was a long time ago… So what do you think? Wanna start working on it?”

Theo walked over to the car to check it out a bit as he said, “While this wouldn't be my first choice for a car… It's in the top ten.”

“Really? What's first?”

“Probably a Ford GT40.”

“A GT40?!? Your mom would kill me if that was your first car.” Jacob said as he started to sweat just thinking about it.

“A 1970 to 71 Plymouth Barracuda coupe would be my next choice, followed closely by a Shelby Cobra.” Theo said with a hint of a smile. 

“The Cuda wouldn't be an issue… Well finding a decent frame would be. But your mom wouldn't let you have a Cobra.” Jacob said as he shook his head.

Theo shrugged as he said, “It's fine. I can get one of those later when I'm older. This 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A is still in my top ten.”

Theo gave his dad a quick hug before he said, “Thanks for the car dad.”

Jacob patted his shoulder before he asked, “You're welcome… So wanna start stripping it down today?”

“Sure, but for the rebuilding process… Are we doing a ‘factory’ restore or can I modify it?”

Jacob glanced at Theo as he asked, “I was thinking about doing it stock. But it is your car, so I don't mind if you want to modify it. Why, what did you have in mind?”

Before Theo answered. Peter and the others walked back over from the other car and Peter was practically vibrating with joy as he said, “This is awesome! Did you see Uncle Ben and dad got me a Mustang!”

Theo nodded as he asked, “Yeah, it'll definitely be a nice car once it's finished. Are you gonna do a stock build?”

Peter’s eyes lit up as he turned to Ben and Richard as he asked, “Can I modify it? Or does it need to be stock?”

Ben patted Peter on the shoulder as he said, “It's your car, you can build it however you want.”

Richard nodded in agreement as he said, “As long as it's not too crazy, you can do whatever you want.”

Peter turned to Theo as he asked, “You wanna grab the tablets so we can build our cars in the app?”

Theo nodded in agreement as he turned to his dad and said, “I'll show you what I want to do after we scan the cars into the system and go through the builder.”

Jacob nodded as he said, “Alright… Just keep your builds reasonable and remember that your mom's will probably have May check the builds over. So no thousand horsepower engines.”

Theo nodded as he said in a serious tone, “So nine hundred and fifty is okay. Got it! Thanks dad!”

Theo and Peter quickly took off after that which left Jacob with a slight smile on his face as Ben and Richard both chuckled. Jacob shook his head as he said, “Pretty sure anything over four hundred horsepower will be rejected.”

“Maybe. But May used to help out in the shop too... Pretty sure she wouldn't mind if the boys had five hundred to six hundred horsepower engines.” Ben said with a slight smile.
