Joy couldn't hide her pity as she watched Arthur being teased by Lucy.

It was practically a direct hit, but Arthur had no clue.

This wasn't just a lack of awareness. He simply wasn’t seeing her as a potential romantic interest from the start, so his thoughts never went in that direction.

What made it even sadder was that Lucy’s misunderstanding was based on her trust in the prince.

But does that mean she won’t confess her feelings?

That’s illogical.

What she’s hoping for is for Lucy to realize her feelings first, but Lucy, as it stands, has no interest in romance at all.

The problem isn’t with the prince.

He’s definitely a good person, even without considering his position.

He’s perfect in both appearance and ability.

There are nobles aiming for the prince, after all.

Just from the gossip I’ve heard, there’s quite a lot, and when you add in the whispers behind the scenes, there are even more.
