Chapter 750
When I turned my head to the side, I saw a green stem that was likely twice my height.
I wondered if a few people like me could even surround it and form a circle, but as I turned my head upward along the stem, green leaves spread out around me, and the yellow of sunflowers caught my eyes.
Looking at the sunflowers tilting their heads toward the sun, it was clear that a round sun was likely shining in the sky above.
But in my eyes, I couldn’t see even a fragment of the sun, nor a trace of sunlight.
It was hard to look for the sun since flowers, like sunflowers, were growing everywhere and blocking the sky.@@novelbin@@
“It’s such a fascinating place the more we walk around.”
Having been swept into Erginus’s chatter and stepping into this fairy tale-like world for over an hour now, I was starting to get a little bored. Yet, Joy was still looking around, her eyes sparkling.
To me, it seemed like just a ridiculously large garden, but I wondered if it looked different from the perspective of a wizard.
“Is it really that fascinating?”
Curious, I asked, and Joy, with a bright smile, nodded eagerly.
“Just look at the size of the flowers. When we first stepped here, the overwhelming scent of the flowers nearly made us cover our noses. But now, we think the subtle fragrance is pleasant, not at all overpowering.”
“…Is that so?”
“Look at this! To maintain such a garden, insects would be essential, but there aren’t any to be seen!”
It’s a place that feels endlessly vivid and close to reality, but still not quite the same as reality.
What do you think?
