Chapter 704: Chapter 704: Pioneer Army

Li Yao shook his head. Another free-for-all, but this one was a bit of a headache.

“Big brother, you are finally here,” Dull Eyes said in a muffled voice as she turned to Edward. “Why are you with this awful woman?”

“Ran into her on the way,” Li Yao shrugged.

“Well, then I will take my leave. Next time we meet I won’t hold back, I still want to settle the scores I have with you.” Edward said, repeatedly blinked out of sight.

“We got four Military Medals,” Dull Eyes said as if showing off a treasure.

“Great, I’ve obtained a few as well. They should be sufficient for all of us to use. Now we have some sort of assurance,” Li Yao said as he passed out the medals to those who didn’t have any.@@novelbin@@

“Hmm, there are quite a few people in the second layer that have medals, and we even found one who has the Colonel Medal. Very arrogant, the power-up is unreasonably insane, we are not a match for him,” Sister Li said.

Li Yao frowned, “A conflict arose?”

“That guy didn’t have any teammates when he first came across Tianxiang. With the latter’s help, he managed to seize a Colonel Medal. But then he ran into us. Tianxiang wanted to join us back. But that guy refused to let her go. A conflict broke out and he killed Tianxiang and Dull Eyes,” Sister Li explained. “If it wasn’t for the scare tactics of the Unparalleled Bewitching Woman, that guy would probably continue endlessly.”

“Colonels indeed are terrifying. I expended six of my abilities on him and he still didn’t die. He managed to escape,” Unparalleled Bewitching Woman somewhat unsatisfied. Despite her using the Military Medal.

“The Colonel Medal augments by fifteen times. Even if a nobody gets it, they could become an expert,” Li Yao said. A glimmer of coldness flashed in his eyes. “We’ll probably encounter him again, at that time, we’ll just simply kill him and seize the Colonel Medal.”

The crowd regrouped. Li Yao dismissed Death God 4000, then he summoned Fire Eagle. It soared into the sky and within moments, the entire battlefield was in clear view.

“Didn’t expect that, the remaining Moon Clan are all gathered here. One intermediate Warcraft boss, and hundreds of Warcraft bosses. No wonder this is difficult. In order to capture this stronghold, we can only rely on nominated stacks,” Li Yao frowned slightly.

The Warcraft intermediate boss is simply a mutated teleporting demon. Although it looks heavy and large, besides being able to alter space, it retains the short-range teleporting ability in combat.

In reality, it is similar to the Mage’s Blink, but with more distance. Even though the cooldown is a bit longer than the Mage’s Blink, almost each time it blinks, a number of players will end up unlucky.

Now, players are working hard to avoid this teleporting demon while dispersing to exterminate other demons. They all are vigorously slaying those Warcraft bosses in order to earn more Military Medals and increase their power and then to hold the teleporting demon to account.

Of course, if they get targeted by the teleporting demon, their luck is really poor.

The teleporting demon’s body is at least ten yards tall. Both of its arms don’t have palms, just firework blades.

A sweep with its golden blade summons rain and wind of blood. Only players with the Military Medal are eligible to escape.

“What do we do now?” Feng Yi asked.

Li Yao thought for a bit before saying, “No rush for now. Each Warcraft boss equates to one small stronghold. Let’s occupy one first. We have plenty of super exchange items. It should be no problem defending one small stronghold. It’s not the right time to kill the teleporting demon; otherwise, we will be under siege. Moreover, plenty of players are coming down from the upper level, let’s wait till the bosses tire them out.”

“That would be best. Many guilds have formed groups,” Unparalleled Bewitching Woman said.

“Big brother, what did you do? Why do they all avoid us when they hear we are from Starfire?” Dull Eyes asked, confused.

“Just killed some people. Apparently, they’ve arrived at the lower level. Seemingly, guilds are really powerful,” Li Yao shook his head. “But we also don’t need to collaborate with others. Let’s go and occupy a stronghold first.”

Just counting the summons of Li Yao and Feng Yi, it was already adding up to three hundred.

The whole team had already used their Military Medals. Although the properties were only increased twofold, the speed at which they killed mobs provided an increment beyond that.

Including the summons, a team of three hundred was already of tremendous scale. Li Yao et al. charged through obstructions all the way.

Some teams directly avoided them, some wanted to join. But Starfire showed no interest, they just charged towards the unoccupied strongholds.

Even with ten people together on a Battle Scorpion, it did not appear crowded. With the Battle Scorpion for protection, they didn’t worry about attacks landing on them.

Just half an hour later, they found themselves drowning in the sea of monsters.

The team of hundreds progressed in an orderly manner, advancing and retreating collectively. No matter how ferocious the demons were, they stick their guns and moved forward steadily, in sync, salt of the earth.

“This, it seems to be a military unit,” Sister Li’s complexion changed.

Unparalleled Bewitching Woman shook her head, “It should not be regular army. Regular army won’t compete with normal players over this illusionary honor. This should be the Vanguard army, a private army for exploring the star region.”

Tianxiang said, “That’s right, this is Black Triangle Company’s Pilot Army. Although the Black Triangle Company experienced heavy losses due to their failed exploration of a planet, the Pilot Army continues to train and seek new sources of finances in order to regroup.”
