Monster Among Monsters

Nolan was currently sitting cross legged inside a Meditation Cave with corpses of Underground Shrews piled up around him. The ones closest to him were the Common and Uncommon rank beasts. He grabbed hold of one of the corpses and started munching on it raw. Blood spewed and sprayed the walls but he didn't care and kept eating the corpse.

His teeth were so strong that he could break even the bones with a single bite. He chewed on the bones until they were powder and swallowed them. Nolan definitely wasn't a wasteful person so he ate everything. After he finished eating the first one, he ate the second, the second, he just kept eating. When the meat of the Underground Shrews reached his stomach, it was quickly digested and turned into pure energy that Nolan could control.

This energy then seeped into Nolan's bones and once the bones were filled with energy, all of them broke into tiny pieces and because Nolan was holding them in place using energy, they didn't scatter. His skeletal system healed itself at a quick pace and fully healed in a couple of minutes, Nolan filled his bones with energy again and broke them. This cycle repeated itself over and over again. 

Nolan's actions were completely inhumane and straight out torturous. Breaking one's bones is extremely painful but doing it over and over again was even scarier. And the guy was sitting cross legged with a calm expression like he wasn't in pain. The reason why Nolan was doing this was because of his Meditation Art. 

He called it the Nolan Meditation Art but its true name was the Hellish Evolution Art because of the hellish stuff one had to go through to cultivate this Art.

The Hellish Evolution Art currently had five levels since Nolan only deduced five levels. The first level was the Body Level where the bones, blood and organs were refined. The second level was the Mana Organs Level, Mana Veins strengthening, Mana Heart expansion and condensing the Mana Soul.

All of these were important components for one to grow stronger and be invincible in the same realm. Mana Veins are the organs that transport and carry from the heart to the body, a Mana Heart as its name suggest is a heart that contains Mana. The bigger the Mana Heart, the more Mana it's able to contain which is a huge benefit. And finally the Mana Soul. Although intangible, it's very important because it represents the third aspect of the body. @@novelbin@@
