“I’ll explain why tomorrow.”

The crane suddenly broke the silence after a while.

With that, he picked up Ethan Smith, turned around, and headed for his grotto-heaven.

Cruz Benson, Oxen, and the others exchanged glances, dumbfounded.

The next day.

Ethan Smith woke up in a daze.

He rubbed his forehead, feeling a heaviness in his head, accompanied by a slight pain.

“Damn, the alcohol hit me hard,” Ethan Smith muttered while massaging his forehead.

Upon saying this, he abruptly realized where he was, and hurriedly scanned his surroundings.

He found himself lying on a jade bed, while the Crane sat bare-chested on the bed.

Ethan Smith’s face contorted, and he quickly sat up from the bed.

“Holy shit! You’re not some kind of psycho, are you?” Ethan Smith asked nervously.

The crane glanced at Ethan Smith and said calmly, “I’m not interested in men.”

Only after Ethan Smith confirmed he was alright did he finally loosen up.

“Damn, I really got drunk,” Ethan Smith grumbled as he slowly stood up from the jade bed.

“What was in that drink? I can’t believe I got drunk,” Ethan Smith complained.

“Do you want some? I can give you a few bottles,” the Crane said as he waved his hand and several jade decontamination bottles landed in front of Ethan Smith.

Ethan Smith did not hesitate to accept them. He laughed and tucked the bottles of alcohol into his bag.

“Since you insist, I’ll take them,” Ethan Smith laughed.

At this point, the Crane suddenly asked seriously, “When do you plan to go back?”

Ethan Smith was silent for a while before replying, “I have a lot to do and can’t stay for long, probably in the next couple of days.”

“Then what? Are you planning to go to war with the Second Secret Realm?” the Crane asked.

Ethan Smith grunted in confirmation, and added, “No matter who wins or loses, this battle is inevitable.”

Upon hearing this, the Crane leaned in closer.

He chuckled, “Do you want me to help you?”

Ethan Smith was taken aback and then responded with a bitter smile, “Of course, but I know you definitely won’t help. Plus, I’ve seen the attitudes of Oxen and others.”

The Crane calmly asked, “So, do you want my assistance or not?”

“Of course!” Ethan Smith replied.

“If you help, it would be like a tiger with wings, like divine assistance.”

The Crane slowly straightened his posture.

He looked into Ethan’s eyes and said earnestly, “Call me big brother, and I’ll help you.”

“Huh?” Ethan Smith was stunned.

“What, you don’t want to?” the Crane asked, half jokingly and half seriously.

“Of course, I do!” Once Ethan Smith regained his composure, he excitedly replied, “Big Brother!”

At this point, Ethan Smith scratched his head and said, “Just by calling you big brother, you are willing to help? That seems too fake.”

“Hahaha,” upon hearing this, the Crane laughed heartily.

“Follow me,” the Crane ordered.

“Where to?”

“You’ll know soon.”

With a wave of his hand, the Crane clothed himself with a robe.

Then he turned and walked towards the exterior of the grotto-heaven.

Even though Ethan Smith was puzzled, he quickly followed.

As they walked through the demon city, many people greeted the Crane.

The two made their way through the demon city to a secret chamber deep within the city.

Meanwhile, Oxen and the rest had already arrived, waiting at the entrance to the secret chamber.

“Did you wake up?” Margot asked Ethan Smith with a smile.

Ethan Smith rubbed his forehead, somewhat embarrassed to admit, “I’m awake. I accidentally drank too much yesterday.”

“Do you remember what you said last night?” Margot asked teasingly.

“What?” Ethan Smith gulped, sensing trouble.

Margot didn’t answer his question. She leaned in closer and asked mysteriously, “Who is Emily Taylor?”

Ethan Smith’s face turned red. He shrugged off the question by saying, “Don’t remind me of the things I said when I was drunk.”

“Hahaha!” Oxen and the others couldn’t help but burst into laughter.

At that moment, the large door in front of them slowly opened.

“Let’s go,” Crane took the lead and walked in.

Ethan Smith and the others followed him into the secret chamber.

“Oxen, what is Crane doing?” Ethan Smith asked quietly.

Oxen shook his head and replied, “I have no idea.”

The Crane guided everyone along a long corridor, eventually stopping in front of a giant painting scroll.

This painting scroll was immense, depicting beautiful landscapes that could immerse anyone into it with its exquisite detailing.

Moreover, the painting scroll emitted an extremely ancient aura, with every aspect of it permeating the essence of the natural path.

Ethan Smith, captivated by the painting scroll, couldn’t look away.

“The painting scroll… seems a bit strange,” Ethan Smith remarked, furrowing his eyebrows.

Oxen and the others seemed to be seeing the painting for the first time too, their expressions mirroring Ethan Smith’s curiosity.

The Crane looked at everyone and declared solemnly, “You all wanted to know why I agreed to help Ethan Smith, right? This is the reason.”

“What do you mean?” Margot asked first.

The Crane didn’t speak. Instead, he waved his hand and released several streaks of light which fell onto the painting scroll.

The painting scroll began to come alive, the characters and landscapes inside seemed to become animate.

“Hum!”

A divine sense flew out from everyone’s forehead!

This divine sense directly entered the painting scroll, and for an instant, everyone felt as if they had entered another world!

Their perspectives seemed to be elevated, as if endowed with the vision of the gods, overlooking the vast territory below!

In this world, Ethan Smith could see endless lands, numerous cities scattered throughout this world.

Their scale and prosperity far exceeded his imagination!

The size and scale of any city here exceeded that of Pyro!

Because they were too far away, Ethan Smith and the rest could only glimpse a corner of the world. But even so, they were deeply shocked!

They could even sense the path’s essence flowing through this world and the incomparable qi!

“Hum!”

Before they could think any more, their divine sense was already getting pulled out of the painting scroll.
