Chapter 109 109: Using Opportunity (3)
The girl closed her eyes after consuming the purple blood.
Zarah was currently at the Sacred Tier 1 level as a Tomb Raider. Before consuming the purple blood, her body had been equal to Zainah in strength—1.4 Metric Tons. But after having consumed it, she surpassed Zainah immediately.
After all, even though they had similar potential, Zainah was still at the Low level, and she was in the Sacred level!
"My body feels much stronger," she said. "And I feel like I can control it better."
"Of course, that's because you are more talented now."
Sett nodded. "If you weren't illiterate, you could have calculated your own strength." He shrugged. "But you happen to be illiterate."
She pouted. "Calculating is too complicated. Only I know how hard I had to try just to learn how to count."
Sett blinked. "How far can you count?"
She became proud. "Of course I can count till infinity!"
For some reason, Sett doubted that.
Still, he calculated her strength for her in his own mind.
Her body was stronger than Zainah's. She and her big sister had the same base strength of 1.4 tons at Tier 1 Low. But that base strength would receive a 10% boost with every minor breakthrough in Tier 1.
At Tier 1 Low, they had 1.4 tons of strength.
They would get a 10% boost from that base strength after going from Low to Mid or Mid to High.
10% of 1.4 tons was 0.14 tons.
Going from Low to Mid would make them 1.54 then!
And then Mid to High, High to Grand, and Grand to Sacred. They will get three more 10% boosts. By the time they reached Tier 1 Sacred, they would have 1.96 Tons!
Zainah had 1.4 tons of strength, but Zarah now had 1.96 Metric Tons!
That made Sett contemplate his own situation. Zainah and Zarah could be considered exceptional talents among the human race, but the current Sett could not even be compared with the human race.
As a Tier 2 Unholy Tomb Walker—he had 16 metric tons of strength.
Even if he became a Tier 3 right now, he would have 160 tons after the 10x boost at Tier 3 Low!
So what would happen if he drank the purple blood?
"Well, now it is my turn."
Sett was talented.
Very, very talented.
In fact, he already stood at the pinnacle of human talent in his past life.
And in this life, he had far surpassed humanity at his level.
Thus, he didn't know how his blood would fare when upgraded. If someone is already at the pinnacle of human talent, how can this magic blood help them in any way?
After all, the blood had one function.
That was to help one reach the pinnacle of talent among one's species!
Sett had already surpassed that.
But there was no loss in trying.
Thus, he drew a wound across his own wrist and let warm blood drip into a goblet. Then, he easily healed himself and handed the goblet of his blood to another person in the line.
Sett hoped the man would win easily, but this person could not even answer a single question of the Door Spirit!
The Spirit handed his normal blood back.
Sett did not reward the man.
Then, Sett had the next person, an old woman, attempt it.
She stumbled in front of the door and threw the goblet into it.
In the end, she got one question right!
Then, she failed.
But that made the Door elevate the normal blood into Silver Blood.
Sett gave her one kilogram of gold and she kissed his hand in gratitude.
With that, all of the people in the first flying beast had used their opportunity. Sett let the beast fly back to the capital city. He also ordered the men in there to send another batch back here on the beast.
Then, the next beast lined up in front of the Door.
This beast was full of rowdy looking men.
They were a mercenary group!
The first person bowed at Sett and walked upto the Door.
He threw the Silver Blood in without hesitation.
Meanwhile, Sett became contemplative.
Hm, maybe all humans are typically born with normal blood.
Even though he should be at the pinnacle of talent, his own blood was the same quality as Zainah's. She had been a weak talent in Tomb Raider pathway.
Yet, would drinking Purple Blood help someone who was already talented?
Sett could already be considered beyond the pinnacle of human race.
Would this blood be any useful to him?
[Divine Information Unlocked]
[You have interacted with the Pure Blood theorem.]
Sett blinked.
That surprised him.
The person who threw the Silver Blood in failed as well and the next person moved forward.
He had seemed so confident…
Sett ignored that and read the Divine Information.
[There are four genetic blood—normal, silver, gold, and purple. This was created by the God &%$^& to help a mortal &%$$^ liked.]
[The only use of the genetic blood is to improve the body's connection to the limit's of one's species' potential. It is a supplement, not a necessity. If one already has the absolute talent among their species, the blood can do nothing to improve their talent]
[The maximum potential of a creature is limited by their species.]
Sett looked at it and then nodded.
The next person to attempt it won two questions in a row and failed in the last one.
The Silver Blood became the Purple Blood!
Sett rewarded the man 10 kilograms of gold.
Maybe since I am a Tomb Walker, I am not even considered part of the Human species anymore?
Then, can't his potential be risen even more?
Without hesitation, Sett consumed the purple blood.
It vanished into his body and he waited.
A cool sensation wrapped around his heart and along with its beats, the sensation spread across his entire body.
Sett blinked.
There was one thing.
Sett might have been talented, but nobody was naturally as talented as they possibly could be. Even he, who was already talented, could raise his talent just a tiny bit using this blood.
Sett wasn't going to complain.
He checked his improved stats.
What do you think?
