Chapter 69: Chapter 69 Goblin and Players [Please Follow]

The Thousand-Handed Butcher’s armor mostly emitted a faint pink glow, the brilliance of Top Grade equipment! This pink was not the pink of a girl, but a unique kind, magnificent and grand.

In his hand, the Thousand-Handed Butcher held not a Great Sword but a Battle Axe, crimson with blood-like patterns covering it.

It was the Bloodthirsty Battle Axe, ranked third on the Treasure Leaderboard.

This fierce group was sprinting, and other players scattered like startled deer.

The group soon reached deep into the forest and the moment they were about to exit, the Thousand-Handed Butcher sharply raised his hand to signal everyone to stop.

The eight-hundred-person team halted instantly, perfectly synchronized, without any superfluous noise.

The Thousand-Handed Butcher had a bad premonition, feeling something dangerous was waiting for them ahead.

It wasn’t just them who stopped; players who had rushed over earlier and those following later also came to a standstill.

The Thousand-Handed Butcher gently parted the tall grass in front of him to look out and was immediately stunned.

In front was an open meadow, densely packed with Little Goblins, stretching beyond sight, surely numbering in the tens of thousands!

Even more terrifying was that these Little Goblins were all looking in one direction. @@novelbin@@

In that direction, the Thousand-Handed Butcher saw the familiar Goblin Elite, a Little Boss from Goblin Forest, who could drop some minor Top Grade items and wasn’t very strong.

This was now the main source of equipment for players.

At that moment, these elites also stood obediently, watching ahead.

Further away, a muscular Goblin over one meter ninety stood there, with a Great Sword strapped to his back, his eyes fiercely gazing at a Little Goblin in front of him, asking, “Is the information accurate?”

“My king, the information is absolutely accurate! Those guys really came, and in huge numbers!”

Upon hearing this, all the players present shivered with a chill, thinking, “Could it be that we’ve been discovered?”

Then they heard the Little Goblin say, “Those monsters from Newbie Village are coming this way, and they should be here soon. My king, what should we do?”

The players were puzzled, ‘Monsters from Newbie Village coming this way? What does that mean? Did the Newbie Village monsters really come out? Also, from the tone of their conversation, it seems like the Newbie Village monsters aren’t with these monsters. Are they going to fight?’

The Goblin Great Swordsman laughed heartily, “Haha…interesting, I didn’t expect those weak monsters to actually come out of Newbie Village. Although it’s unclear how they defeated that useless creature, it doesn’t matter anymore.

Everyone!”

All Goblins looked neatly toward the Goblin Great Swordsman, who said, “Since those rabbits foolishly entered our territory, as the landlords, we should give them a proper welcome!”

Clang, a Little Goblin brought out a large iron pot.

The Goblin Great Swordsman frowned, “What are you doing?”

“Cooking, to welcome them,” the Little Goblin replied.

The Goblin Mage’s forehead was lined with black lines as he roared, “Idiot, by welcome I meant to kill them, kill them, understand?!”

The Little Goblin cowered into a ball, quivering with fear.

Another Little Goblin shouted, “My king, those rabbits are quite formidable, I saw them kill several players!”

The Goblin Great Swordsman smiled, “Killing a few useless players isn’t a feat. The great battle is impending, let’s also kill a few players to set the tone!”

After speaking, the Goblin Great Swordsman looked toward the distant bushes, his wide mouth revealing sharp, icily gleaming teeth as he grinned ferociously.

“Damn, we’ve been spotted, retreat!” an independent player shouted and turned to run.

Almost simultaneously, the Goblin Great Swordsman moved, stomping his foot and, with a loud boom, rushed out like a cannonball, dragging his great sword on the ground and sparking flames — evidently, he had triggered a skill, and his speed surged!

The players had not yet escaped when they felt a strong wind from behind. Snapping their heads around, they saw the Goblin Great Swordsman leap into the air, his great sword glowing fiercely as he slashed down amidst the crowd!

Boom!

The ground cracked, the shockwave rolled, and the three players who were struck instantly turned into white light as their bodies shattered.

The nearby four players were blown away by the shockwave, their blood volume instantly depleted, and then hit continuously by airborne debris, turning into white light as their bodies rolled away into the distance.

“He’s too strong, we can’t hold him off, run!” the other players cried out as they retreated.

But then, eight hundred pairs of eyes lit up with red light, the butchers of the Slaughterhouse turned towards the Thousand-Handed Butcher.

How could the Thousand-Handed Butcher pass up this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? He waved his hand, “The BOSS is isolated, attack together, finish him off!”

The eight hundred butchers of the Slaughterhouse roared and the warriors charged forward.

Giant shields instantly teamed up to form four walls from four directions, surrounding the Goblin Great Swordsman, while magic and arrows blocked every possible escape route!

The Goblin Great Swordsman evidently had not expected these players to react so quickly and so fiercely; he was caught off guard and fell into the pit.

However, as the Big Boss of the Swordsman Forest, he was not panicked. He stomped his foot with a loud boom, and thick layers of Earth Stone Armor instantly covered him.

Cling Clang!

Fireballs and arrows struck him, making a clinging sound, all blocked from penetrating, not a single drop of blood spilled!

“With such high defense, it either can’t last long, or there is a limit to how much damage it can take! Everyone attack together, break him down!” commanded the Thousand-Handed Butcher, as the mages and archers launched a second round of attacks.

The warriors also rushed forward, swinging their great swords in a frenzy.

But the Goblin Great Swordsman was not to be underestimated. Relying on his full-body Stone Armor, he robustly withstood the barrage of attacks, his great sword sweeping and directly flinging five or six warriors out.

However, the butchers of the Slaughterhouse were too experienced, aware that they couldn’t take hits from a boss of this level head-on. So as the great sword swept through them, each one cleverly used the force to leap backwards, avoiding the hit without losing much blood.

As they pushed back, immediately their companions filled in the gap to continue attacking the BOSS.

Along with the magic fireballs and arrows from the archers, and the thieves’ backstabbing, cracks began to appear in the Goblin Great Swordsman’s Stone Armor — the cracks grew larger and larger…

“Kill!” Three warriors leapt up simultaneously, striking hard at the Goblin Great Swordsman’s face.

In his anger, the Goblin Great Swordsman swept his sword horizontally, but three large hands stretched out from behind the three men still in mid-air, pulling them back.

The Goblin Great Swordsman suddenly found himself slashing at air.

Just then, a shadow loomed larger behind him, and turning his head he saw a bald muscular man descending from the sky, his bloodthirsty battle axe crashing down fiercely!

Boom!

The Goblin Great Swordsman, unable to defend in time, took the full brunt of the axe, and his Stone Armor instantly shattered.

But to everyone’s surprise, instead of cracking or peeling off, the armor exploded!

The violent explosion whipped up a shockwave that swept in all directions, blowing the enclosing circle wide open, and the Thousand-Handed Butcher was also blown away.

Once the dust settled, everyone realized that the Goblin Great Swordsman had disappeared!
