MY 10,000× DIMENSIONAL SYSTEM

Chapter 203: Conclusion II

Conclusion II

'That idiot!' It took Vazar everything he had to not rush Jenny and beat her up on the spot.

He wanted to resolve things amicably, but that fool just had to go ahead and attack.

He turned to her and he narrowed his eyes. He'd been expecting to see a sense of confusion or fear in her eyes, but when he saw the chilling coldness in her gaze, he realized that she knew exactly what she was doing.

'What is she trying to do? Get herself killed?' He wanted to scoff.

"So I'm assuming a fight is what you want?" The words sent a shiver down Vazar's spine, and judging by how Constella's face changed, she most likely felt the same.

He stared at the being that had been causing him an existential crisis for so long despite not even seeing him yet and couldn't help but feel extremely off-put.

For some reason, observing him was difficult. It took him all he had to just keep his attention on him. As if he'd lose sight of him the moment he looked away.

In fact, he couldn't even tell if it was a 'he'. Their presence seemed to shift in and out of reality like a mirage and didn't seem to have a fixed shape, making it difficult to ascertain their gender, race, size, etc.

Moreover, their voice was also garbled, like listening to someone speak through water. The pitch and tone constantly shifted, making it impossible to place a label on the person speaking. Beyond that though, it was like their voice passed right over him, making him question if he had even heard right.

He grit his teeth and opened his mouth to speak, but Constella beat him to it.

"Are you... a Primordial Arbiter?" Vazar glared at her. Why were these two being so dumb? If she knew what he was then why address him with such disrespect?

"That is correct." The being answered calmly. But the three of them subconsciously knew that they were telling the truth.

"We... don't want any trouble, we're just passing by," Vazar said and gestured to himself and his group.

He thought he saw the being tilt their head, but he wasn't sure.

"I am aware that you are passing through." The being said and Vazar tensed. This was the moment of truth.

"However. That claim of not wanting trouble is... not entirely true, now is it?" Vazar's heart sank. He instinctively knew this being was aware of his plan.

"Well, Vazar right? I'm gonna have to burst your bubble, I can't let you do what you wanna do. Though I have to say, the audacity of you and your clan is... commendable." Vazar tensed as he felt the gazes of Jenny and Constella on him, their eyes full of suspicion.

"... I have no issue with you," Vazar said in a low growl and Christopher tilted his head.

"Oh? But if I recall correctly, you sent one of your men to cause trouble with my people." Vazar frowned with confusion for a moment before realization hit him.

"You... You really are the leader of the Genesis Corps..." He muttered and the being just stared at him.

Multiple thoughts ran through his mind, then he made a decision.

"Constella..." He didn't finish, but his intention was clear. As much as it pained him to do so, he was asking for help.

Constella looked between him and the being and clenched her fists.

"Dammit." She cursed and spread her arms wide. Energy crackled as a pair of gauntlets that seemed to be made of starlight appeared on her hands. Moreover, her dress transformed into a battle dress made of swirling nebulae with a sleek helmet covering her head. At the same time, her people activated various skills and they prepared for a confrontation.

Vazar didn't hesitate and had his men activate the formation, bringing forth the giant corrupted serpent once more.

Jenny snapped her fingers and three large rifts appeared behind her. From them, three heavy Auras descended on the battlefield. One was the turtle she'd been using this entire time. Another was a cloud of blue mist that hid a creature that gave off an ominous Aura, and the last rift brought forth a dark blue dragon that had blue flames spewing from the corners of its mouth.

Christopher looked at all of this and tilted his head, his eyes glinting behind his mask.

If he wanted to, he could simply just use his authority to put them to sleep or cause them to be unable to access their abilities. But he wanted to fight them, properly too. So he didn't do any of that.

Instead, he put his hand on Scarlet's hilt as he had put the sword in its sheath, and he slowly pulled.

The instant the smallest part of the blade was revealed, a feeling of utter dread overtook everyone who was in the vicinity as an ominous red color descended on everything.

"DON'T LET HIM DRAW THAT SWORD!" The serpent roared and Constella was the first one to move.

She teleported next to Christopher, but she didn't try to hit him, instead, she put all her effort into stopping him from drawing his blade.

Christopher watched her as her hands reached down. He could have easily stepped away, but he just let her hands hold his and attempt to prevent him from drawing Scarlet.

The resistance he felt was... meager.

That's when another thick beam of blue fire engulfed him once more, and just like last time, he used his authority to render it ineffective against him.

Then the tail of the serpent came like a whip, its tip covered in potent corruption.

Seeing this, Christopher just stretched out his free hand and caught it.

The impact generated a powerful blast that sent a shockwave through the area. Though surprisingly, the damage done was quite mild as it seemed this inner area was exceptionally durable.

Smiling behind his mask, Christopher gripped the snake's tail and proceeded to throw it at Jenny who was approaching rapidly. Then he lightly shook his arm which Constella was holding down firmly, causing her to get thrown away.

All this happened in the span of a nanosecond.

Christopher decided to keep Scarlet sheathed and brought his hands together while cracking his knuckles.

He saw that the other Apex ranks and soldiers were about to attack him, but he couldn't be bothered with them as they were simply too tasteless.

That's why he ordered Prism to deal with it.

There was a scream, and then a few more.

The Scions turned to see Constella's people fighting... themselves?

Exact clones of each member of her entourage were fighting the originals, causing them to be unavailable.

"Pay attention." The Serpent's head snapped forward just in time to see Christopher lightly slap down on it.

Its entire body was instantly smashed into the ground like a fly, cracks appearing all over its body.

That's when the blue mist surrounded Christopher, then from an unforeseen angle, a sharp blue blade shot toward his neck.

But he simply raised his hand and caught the blade between two fingers.

"Hm, so you're a summoned beast huh? Neat." He commented and pressed down on the blade, causing it to shatter like glass.

The force was so extreme that the mist and the being within it were blown away.

Then a shadow was cast and Christopher looked up to see the massive turtle shooting down at him like a missile.

It crashed into him and then into the ground, the force creating another massive explosion that sent snow flying everywhere.

However, no one felt hope when the turtle was thrown away like a doll, Christopher standing there with a single hand stretched out.

At that moment, Constella appeared by his side and clenched her fist and threw a punch. In front of her fist, a mini-black hole, appeared, pulling Christopher towards it with sudden force.

Then she punched forward and the black hole turned into a white hole, so when her fist hit Christopher, the force generated was absurd and a devastating shockwave passed through him and decimated the area behind him.

However, Constella shuddered when she saw that the punch had been caught with seemingly no effort. She looked up and saw a pure white mask staring down at her, the dread she'd been suppressing thus far suddenly flaring up beyond her control.

She vaguely heard someone telling her to retreat, but she couldn't hear any of that. All she could focus on was the finger moving towards her head.

The moment it touched her helmet, she felt like someone had smashed her skull in with a galaxy.

Her helmet got obliterated and her body was thrown back with more force than anyone had endured thus far.

She tore a massive ravine in the ground before smashing into the barrier with such force that a large part of it became riddled with cracks and nearly shattered.

Her eyes had rolled back as she fell to her knees and collapsed.
