Chapter 710: An Unexpected Guest
Once Yuan collected Yin Qi from all his wives again, he placed a mat on the floor and sat in a lotus position to refine the energy.
As soon as he closed his eyes and focused on refining the Yin Qi, a profound aura enveloped him, and his cultivation began to rise. In a short time, he achieved a breakthrough, soaring to the Second Level of the Spirit Lord realm. His strength increased severalfold, making him far more powerful than before.
At the same time, his wives also experienced breakthroughs, their cultivation rising to the peak of the Spirit Grandmaster realm. Their newfound strength radiated from them, causing the atmosphere in the room to tremble as the air vibrated with their power.
Feeling the surge of energy within him, Yuan let out a satisfied grin.
"I like this feeling... I feel like I could destroy an entire mountain with just a stick in my hand." He clenched his fists tightly, relishing the raw power coursing through his body.
"Indeed," Valeria said, standing beside him with a confident smile. "I feel the same. Unfortunately, I haven't learned Sword Aura yet, so I can't do the same as you. But that won't be the case for much longer."
Her eyes shimmered with determination. "I'll learn Sword Aura as well—and master it in no time. Then, I'll be able to cut a massive mountain in half with just a normal stick."
Yuan nodded, his expression full of certainty. "You'll definitely master it in no time. After all, you're my wife." His words and reassuring smile only strengthened her confidence.
However, not all of his wives had reached the peak of the Spirit Grandmaster realm, as some had started with lower cultivation levels.
Valeria advanced to the eighth level of the Spirit Grandmaster realm, while Emma reached its peak, only a few steps away from breaking through to the Spirit Lord realm. Anna Grace, Lily, and Rose had also reached the peak of the Spirit Grandmaster realm, standing just on the verge of their next breakthrough.
After exchanging a few words, they headed to the bathroom to clean themselves, as their bodies had become sticky from the intense session of dual cultivation.
As soon as Yuan settled into the warm water of the hot tub, a relaxed smile on his face, Anna Grace approached him with a beautiful smile of her own. She sat down on his lap, pressing her soft body against his.
"Here, drink some milk from my breasts. You must be hungry after dual cultivating with all of us," she said seductively, bringing her chest close to his face.
Yuan chuckled and took her pink nipple into his mouth, sucking gently as warm, sweet milk filled his mouth. He continued drinking, savoring the taste with each pull.
Some time later, after thoroughly washing themselves, they left the bathroom and returned to their bedroom to rest, even though only a few hours remained until sunrise.
Once they entered the room, Leah swiftly replaced the soiled bedsheet with a fresh one before they all changed into comfortable clothes for the night.
"Good night, Darling," Anna Grace murmured, pressing a soft kiss to Yuan's cheek before laying on top of him, resting her head on his chest with a contented smile.
Xi Meili and Lily snuggled up on either side of him, hugging his arms tightly between their soft breasts. A peaceful expression settled on their faces as they drifted into sleep.
The next morning, after washing up and shaking off the last traces of sleep, everyone gathered in the dining room for breakfast. The meal was light, as they preferred not to eat anything too heavy to start the day.
Just as they finished eating, a sudden knock at the mansion's main door caught them off guard. Everyone exchanged surprised looks—no one should have been able to approach the mansion unnoticed, especially with the guards on duty.
Yuan and his wives immediately activated their Divine Senses to identify the person knocking on the door. The moment they did, shock spread across their faces.
"The Princess of the Holy Light Empire? What is she doing at our doorstep? Is she here to cause trouble?" Valeria murmured, her Divine Sense locked onto the figure standing outside.
Yuan glanced at her and smiled. "Well, we won't know unless we let her in and hear what she has to say."
"Indeed," Vanessa added, her expression serious. "From the look on her face, she seems desperate to meet us. This could be important."
"I agree," Anna Grace nodded. "We should let her in and find out her reason for coming here. After that, we can decide how to handle the situation."
Valeria nodded in agreement, then turned to a maid standing nearby and subtly signaled for her to open the door and allow the unexpected guest inside.
The maid bowed her head respectfully before quickly making her way to the door. As soon as she opened it, she found Princess Livia standing outside, draped in a large hooded cloak.
Her face was barely visible beneath the oversized hood, making it difficult for anyone to recognize her unless she revealed her identity herself.
However, what truly surprised Yuan and his wives was the fact that the Holy Son, Arthur, was not accompanying her. She was alone—and, in this vulnerable state, she seemed far removed from the powerful figure they had expected.
Silently, Princess Livia stepped inside, following the maid. As soon as she entered, she pulled back her hood, revealing her face.
"I hope I'm not intruding or causing discomfort by arriving uninvited," she said, her voice carrying a mix of emotions. "However, I had no other choice."
She took a breath before continuing, "Please forgive me for not introducing myself—"
Before she could finish, Yuan raised his hand slightly, signaling her to stop.
"We already know who you are," he said with a small grin. "No need for introductions. Please, have a seat and make yourself comfortable."
He gestured toward the empty sofa in front of him.
Princess Livia nodded and quickly settled herself on the sofa Yuan had pointed to. A moment later, Emma approached with a warm smile and served her a cup of tea.
Accepting the tea, Princess Livia took a deep sip before placing the cup on the table. She then turned to Yuan, her expression serious.
"Mr. Yuan, I've come to ask for your help. Please, hear me out," she said, her voice filled with determination. Her words caught both Yuan and his wives by surprise.
"Oh?" Yuan raised an eyebrow. "And what kind of request would that be? Do you want me to kill that idiot you came here with for the auction? Or is this about something more serious than dealing with that clown?"
Princess Livia sighed and shook her head. "As much as I'd love to get rid of him, I can't—at least, not yet. Killing him would put me in a difficult position with the Holy Church of Light."
She took a deep breath before continuing. "The Church has been keeping a close eye on my family for years now. They monitor our every move as if we were criminals in our own empire."
Her grip tightened slightly around the teacup as she spoke. "They want complete control over the empire—to be the sole ruling power. But my family is the only thing standing in their way."
"Somehow, I managed to sneak out of the villa while Arthur was busy entertaining himself with the whores he brought from the brothel last night," Princess Livia explained, her voice steady.
Yuan listened carefully, analyzing her words. He sensed no deception—she was telling the truth.
"I see… So what exactly do you want from us?" Lily asked, her expression serious.
Princess Livia met Lily's gaze. "I'm here to request your protection. I want you all to safeguard me and my family while I expose the Church's true nature and intentions to the public—with undeniable proof. If I do this, they will undoubtedly try to kill me. They've already made several attempts on our lives."
Yuan leaned back slightly, his expression unreadable. "And what do I get in return for keeping you safe? Nothing comes for free—especially my help. It's quite expensive." His voice was calm but laced with seriousness.
Princess Livia took a deep breath before responding, "Don't worry, I wouldn't make this request without offering something in return. Our family's treasure vault contains several rare herbs—ones that emit the same unique aura as the Lunar Ice Lotus from the auction. You can have them all in exchange for protecting us."
"A couple of herbs with an aura similar to the Lunar Ice Lotus, huh?" Yuan mused, studying her carefully.
After a brief silence, a grin spread across his face. "Alright. I accept your request. We'll protect you and your family in exchange for those herbs." His expression darkened slightly as he added, "However, that idiot's life belongs to me. I'll be the one to take that clown's head."
His words sent a shiver down Princess Livia's spine, making her tremble slightly under his gaze.
What do you think?
