Chapter 185 Battle Arena III
"The fuck?" Aeron exclaimed, while others were still wondering why Leon had left them with such valuable gifts.
"What happened?" Ragnar asked, looking at Aeron.
Aeron pointed at his Mystic Eye Orb, his expression filled with shock. "It's fucking Legendary-grade," he said.
Venessa and Ragnar both widened their eyes in disbelief. They quickly inspected their own items.
"There's no way… Does this mean our items are also Legendary grade?" Venessa muttered, gripping the Frost Moon Staff tightly. "It really is Legendary," she confirmed.
"It's the same for mine," Ragnar added, staring at his Titan Knuckles in awe. "These are also Legendary."
"Fuck, I've only earned two Legendary-grade items in my whole time ascending the Tower, and Leon just casually gave three of them away?" Aeron said in disbelief.
The other two also nodded. It wasn't that they had never owned Legendary items before—they had—but they had put in a lot of hard work to get them. Ragnar had even almost died obtaining his.
Yet now, Leon had just given away three Legendary items so easily.
"Director said Leon's ability is related to the Merchant type. Is he really that great of a merchant?" Venessa asked, her tone curious.
Ragnar scoffed. "Merchant? That bastard has always put in the most hard work in dungeons and trained his combat abilities harder than anyone."
" how can he be an Merchant, he must be hiding his abilities" He added.
Aeron shook his head. "We don't even know what we'll awaken, honestly. We're orphans. We have no clue what our parents' abilities were because we never knew them."
" So, will it even matter if he tries to hide it,? I mean it will only reduce the chance of his parents returning back to him" he said quietly at the end of it.
They fell silent for a moment before Ragnar muttered, "I'm fine without those bastards who abandoned me."
Venessa frowned. "Don't say that. Maybe they had some complications at the time."
"Yeah? Then why haven't they come back after all this time?" Ragnar shot back, his voice sharp.
"Don't fucking take this on me," she retorted, crossing her arms.
"You're the one defending them!" Ragnar argued, glaring at her.
Aeron, on the other hand, ignored them. He silently examined his Mystic Eye Orb, lost in thought. I need to master this properly before using it in battle. With that in mind, he walked away, leaving the two to argue over personal matters.
However, Aeron wasn't just going back to train. He was going after Leon—he had something to ask.
"If that guy has more Legendary-grade equipment, I'm buying it."
Thanks to his Illusion-type ability, many guilds had invested in him, treating him like a valuable card in their arsenal. As a result, he was loaded with money , but not with Legendary equipments.
"The more, the merrier," Aeron thought, grinning as he made his way toward Leon.
Leon, on the other hand, was in the room assigned to him. Every participant had their own room, and he was sitting inside, observing the other participants with his Miracle Eyes, gauging their abilities.
Just then, Aeron entered.
"Hello," he said.
Leon glanced up and asked, "Did something happen with the Mystic Eye?"
Aeron shook his head. "Nothing happened," he replied, then quickly added, "I'm here to buy more Legendary items if you have any."
Leon nodded. "Of course, I have. I'm a merchant, after all. That's my job," he said with a chuckle.
For a brief moment, Leon wondered if this world even had an Oscar for acting. Hmm, does this world even have an Oscar? he mused before waving his hand.
A cube materialized in the air, humming softly before transforming into a shop-like interface in front of Aeron. It was Leon's Alchemy aboard, which he had modified into a mobile shop.
"Welcome to my shop," Leon said with a smirk.
Aeron blinked in surprise. "The fuck? You carry a shop with you?"
Leon grinned. "I'm a Battle Merchant. I can work and walk while holding my shop. I can even open it at any location."
Aeron exhaled in disbelief. "You're the first of your kind," he muttered before rubbing his chin. "So, what stock do you have?"
Leon snapped his fingers, and a large screen appeared, displaying over 1,000 items.
Aeron's eyes widened as he scrolled through. "You have more than 600 Legendary-grade items... and the rest are nearly Legendary?" he exclaimed.
Leon simply nodded. "Hmm, I know, right?" he said casually.
Aeron looked at Leon as if he were staring at a monster.
No wonder the Director said Leon made a grand donation to the orphanage... If his shop had even Unique-ranked items, that means he must've donated all the Uncommon, Rare, and Epic ones to the orphanage, Aeron thought.
Aeron didn't know it, but he was right—Leon had donated all items below Legendary rank to the orphanage. In return, he had received even better items thanks to his rebate system. Now, all those high-tier items were displayed in his shop.
"So, have you decided?" Leon asked.
Aeron nodded. "You know, a lot of guilds might hunt you down for this," he said while showing his list of four selected items.
Having money to buy Legendary-rank gear didn't mean much if no one was willing to sell. Finding someone like Leon, who was not only selling but also stocked with these items, was rare.
Damn, I should've brought more money… Aeron cursed internally. After all this time searching, he finally found someone willing to sell Legendary-rank gear, but now he didn't have enough funds.
"I accept installments," Leon said casually.
Aeron raised an eyebrow. "Aren't you going to give me a discount?" he asked.
Leon smirked. "I already did by letting you buy them at a flat cash price. You know I could sell these at an auction for twice the amount."
Aeron sighed in frustration. "Damn merchant logic…"
Leon chuckled. "So, what about the other two ?"
"They began fighting like lovebirds, so I left," Aeron said with a sigh.
Leon just chuckled. This wasn't the first time Ragnar and Vanessa had fought like children. They were the definition of frenemies, always finding a reason to lash out at each other.

But for some strange reason, whenever an outsider tried to mess with either of them, they would immediately reunite—just to beat the shit out of that poor soul.
"Leave them. Just tell me what you're buying," Leon said as Aeron nodded.
"What are you selling now?"
Suddenly, Ragnar's voice sounded behind him. When Aeron turned back, he saw Ragnar in a sorry state—his clothes were torn, his eyes had tears, and there was some frost in his hair.
Right behind him, Vanessa entered, her hand swollen and her shoulder bruised.
"Wow, you two fools… now your verbal argument has turned into a physical one?" Leon smirked.
"Hell no!" Both of them shouted, leading to Leon raising an eyebrow.
"We were arm wrestling," Vanessa explained, while Ragnar nodded as well.
"I really wonder what kind of arm wrestling you two were doing," Leon muttered, shaking his head.
With a chuckle, he gestured toward his Alchemy aboard-turned-shop and asked, "Care to buy anything?"
Both Ragnar and Vanessa turned to look at the shop and examined the items at the same time, just like Aeron had.
Grinning, Ragnar cracked his knuckles. "You're really lightening my guild's pockets, Leon."
Vanessa also nodded in agreement.
Leon simply smirked. "Hey, I'm just a merchant doing business. It's not my fault if you guys can't resist."
Aeron sighed. "Yeah, yeah… just show us what's available."
With a flick of his wrist, Leon activated his Alchemy Board, and a massive holographic screen materialized, displaying an endless list of items—each neatly categorized by rarity, from Common all the way to Legendary and even some Mythical ones.
Ragnar whistled. "Damn, Leon, I swear you're running a black market by yourself. No way you should have this much stuff."
Vanessa, on the other hand, narrowed her eyes, scrolling through the list. "Some of these items… they should only exist in ancient ruins or be tightly controlled by high-ranking guilds. How the hell did you get your hands on them?"
Leon simply shrugged, his smirk never fading. "A merchant never reveals his sources."
Aeron, already used to Leon's ridiculous resources, focused on the items marked as Legendary. "Alright, enough chit-chat. I need something to complement my Illusion abilities."
Leon tapped the screen, filtering the results. "For an Eye-based ability user, you might like these…"
Phantom Veil Mask (Legendary)
Eye of the Prophet (Legendary)
Dark Omen Ring (Legendary)
Aeron's eyes lit up at the choices, but before he could say anything, Ragnar cut in.
"Wait, wait, what do you have for a brawler like me? My knuckles are strong, but I need something better."
Leon raised an eyebrow before pulling up another set of options.Stormbreaker Knuckles (Legendary) each punch.
Unyielding Grip (Legendary)
Ragnar's grin widened. "Now we're talking."
Vanessa, not wanting to be left out, also spoke up. "And what about something for a mage specializing in frost magic?"
Leon's smirk deepened as he pulled up the next selection.
Glacial Crown (Legendary) – Boosts magic power and grants resistance to fire.
Everfrost Cloak (Legendary) – Nullifies ice-based damage and increases mana regeneration.
Frost Princess Tears (Legendary)
Vanessa's eyes gleamed as she studied the list. "I want that staff."
Leon chuckled. "Of course you do. Now, let's talk prices."
Aeron, Ragnar, and Vanessa all exchanged glances before sighing. "This is going to hurt our wallets, isn't it?"
Leon grinned. "Like I said before—just business."
What do you think?
