She never understood why her mother said that she could not let anyone know about their mother-daughter relationship, or why she was the secret her mother had to keep hidden.

Ye Qilan chuckled, lightly pinching the cheek of the little one, “Daddy likes mummy and wants to know everything about her. Daddy doesn’t want mum to hide things from him. Do you understand now?”

When Su Hongxing returned from her call with Aunt Lan, she saw Li Yan standing by her office desk.

Her heart tightened, she knew Ye Qilan wanted something from her. So that means, Ye Qilan knew she left earlier.

As soon as she walked in the door, Little Pudding lunged at her, stretching out her chubby arms for a hug.
