The next day, Su Nian got up and sent Su Zhen and Su Bao off to school, but she didn’t see Shen Hanxiu, nor did she see him come back late last night. Only later did she learn from Su Zhen that “Uncle Shen said he went on a business trip last night, and that it would take a couple of days before he could return. He told me to listen to Mom and when he’s back, he’ll take me to eat shrimp.”
